A Nemesis Soquili That Needs a Rival: Callan MactaílGender Preference: Male What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Callan will leave a piece of armor from his formal nemesis and the arrow that pierced through his rider and killed him. Short IC Response: A deep sigh left Callan's chest, causing his armor to clink in protest of the movement. He had seen the star, head heard of it's power and he couldn't keep himself away. Walking slowly to the top of the hill Callan dropped a heavy piece of armor on the ground followed by an arrow that was chipped at the tip. He looked over the trinkets a moment, remembering what they meant to him. "Beautiful star goddess in the sky, I ask one thing and one thing only of you," he paused, gathering his thoughts, "I need someone to spar with again. I have raised a family and am now a great grandfather but I need something more than that...." He smiled to himself. "I love my family but I have begun to feel old and useless as they have grown and I need some excitement to tingle through my muscles again. I need to feel the heat of battle and the exuberance of victory once again. Send me someone willing to battle with me, someone strong and courageous." He nudged the items with his nose gently. "This arrow killed the rider I made a promise to protect, his blood is soaked into the shaft, this armor my former rival once wore until he was killed in battle. I leave this to you as gifts...please wishing star....grant my wish. Make me feel young once more...."

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: RylanRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Unicorn Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? After having seen the star in the sky, and hearing from many others what it meant, Rylan just couldn't figure out what to leave. He didn't have any personal trinkets to offer, nor was there anything that meant overmuch to him. Finally, he realized that for the Wishing Star to understand his wish, he should leave something that reminded him of his sister: a long stemmed rose he'd found nestled in a bush near his home. The petals were the exact shade of his sister's coat from his memory, the splotches of color so reminiscent of her pattern. It was perfect. As he lay the rose down for his offering, he caught a splash of blood red on the back of the rose and he knelt, offering up memories he'd long kept in the back of his mind. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?"Wishing Star," Rylan murmured, looking up into the night sky and smiling a bit sadly at the bright sparkle there, "I know I don't have much to offer you, but it's been so long since I've seen my sister..." Crystal tears filled his rose colored eyes and threatened to overflow. "We were barely out of our baskets when our family was attacked. There was so much...destruction. So many Kalonas...I'd never even heard of so many in one place, not even from the stories my mother used to whisper to our baskets. She was so overprotective...she wanted us to stay safe, even before we could walk." His voice broke off a little as tears streaked down his muzzle, making dark tracks. "My parents...I know there is no hope they are still alive. In my memories...there's so much blood. So much unnecessary violence. My father pushed us out of the back of our home, and told us to run. We did, my sister and I. We ran hard and fast. I tripped, but my sister didn't notice. We were both scared, I don't blame her for it. I limped back home, and that's when I knew our parents were gone." He sighed, and lay his head on his forelegs, closing his eyes as his memories kept spilling. "I tried to find my sister, but I had no idea how to track her. I went back in the direction we'd started out in, trying to find her, but I never could. It's been so long...but I never really stopped looking, never really gave up the hope that we would find each other again. Wishing star, please, hear my wish. I long to see my sister again, to know if she has a family of her own. I tire of being alone, and crave my family around me. Even if there's no hope of finding her for me, I offer you my thanks in addition to my other offerings, just for listening to me and helping me to remember where I've come from." Rising from his position, Rylan left a final offering: his tears.

My True LoveSoquili looking for love Lian Gender Preference: Male Archetype: The Noble Hero Acceptable Races (at least one common/uncommon or mini): Anything with wings NOT Acceptable Races: Mer What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A single green feather that she had kept close to her to remind her of the stallion who raised her as his daughter. A memento of home for her. Short IC Response: Lian thought long and hard about her offering, and also what she would ask for. She even considered not asking for anything at all... but the temptation was too great. She had reached the ends of her wits. She loved traveling, but she couldn't stand the loneliness anymore. She had made many friends, but none who reached her on a soul deep level, none who would stay at her side regardless of the reckless things she would tend to do. And Lian was honest enough with herself to know that she would never be able to stop her reckless way. So she stared up at the wishing star and rested the feather that she had treasured so dearly for so long. It near broke her heart to part with the reminder of her adoptive father, but she could see him again. Maybe, just maybe, the feather would send her wish further out.
"Please... I want a friend for life, a mate who will stay by my side. Someone I can give all my love to without fear of being used or betrayed," she breathed softly. Then she shook her head slightly. "Who am I kidding?" she asked herself wryly. "Someone so devoted would likely bore me within a week. Or kill me with guilt. Someone strong, then. Someone who won't hurt me but whom I can care safely about." Another head shake. She didn't know what she wanted, really. Someone to end the loneliness. Ah, but this was all ridiculous anyway. With one final sigh and glance at the feather, she left the offering and prayer.

A True Friend Who is Wishing? (a Soquili, Familiar, or Kiwani persona) Myrddin Tell the wishing star a little about yourself:"There are too few dragons left and even fewer that have not interacted with the meat-lessers," he growled out. "Even the kalona have been seen weakening their bloodline and I want no part dealing with half-bloods. I seek someone of my view of preservation, someone who understands that we are a breed to be reckoned with along side the cursed skinwalkers. I seek an ally to remind the lesser we are something to fear again."10 Things I Like:

Anything not a Pure Kalona Large Head Horns Anything Cute Color eye-rape White What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? He doubted this star could really grant him his wish. Something so far away could very well make bias decisions based on alignment. But he had gone hunting, thinking of the star like his hopeful ally. And his ally would receive the best cut of meat to his most recent kill—a Wind. He left the hunk of meat in hopes that it might lure someone to him. "This had better work star. I do not believe in such powers, but it is time for the winds to shift. May this meat encourage others to follow my path."

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Pachu'aRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother or sister Race (first choice): Flutter Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A single blue and silver feather from the mare he adopted and raised like a daughter. Short IC Response: Pachu'a listened to the rain outside the cave he sheltered in. For a nice change of pace, there was no chatty female there to chew his ear off. Just pleasant solitude, gentle silence. He gazed at the feather, still trying to convince himself that it just got tangled in his mane, that he hadn't actually kept it intentionally. Just like he was trying not to believe that he loved his little adopted daughter, or worried for her as much as he did. Just like he was trying so hard not to wonder about the family that had abandoned him. Most of the time he didn't care less, and that was almost true. But sometimes, when he thought of the basket he had found abandoned, he wondered why himself had been. In moments like these he wished.... he actually wished... to find one of his parents and ask why.... or... to find a sister or brother... some one who had been abandoned as he had that he could help. Some one who could lean on him, that he could lean on. He missed his daughter, hadn't seen his only friend in ages. He was lonely, and warm. Since the wishing star couldn't bring him eternal winter with its comforting cold... could it maybe bring answers into his life? Or at least... family?

A True Friend Who is Wishing? (a Soquili, Familiar, or Kiwani persona) Aine Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: "Currently I’m the captive of a dragon, I’d love a friend to talk to, though he does protect me well I’m rather bored since he’s restricted me such I’ll never be able to meet another soquili, I need another girl to talk to, or another stallion for that matter, Someone strong enough to stand up to the dragon and convince him to let me socialize, I’m going to go insane all by myself most of the time. I’d like Someone just as beautiful as myself perhaps more so. Not like that’s possible." Aine huffs our the long sentence before continuing. 10 Things I Like: Beauty Chivalrous/knightly Alicorns Whites Long flowing manes/tails perhaps a touch wild Armour Good Silver markings Feathered wings Heterochromia iridum 10 Things I Don’t Like: Kalonas - there are a few exceptions Dreary pelts Clashing colours/eye rape Normal soquili and minis Zombies Purely evil What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?” Not that anyone would really be paying any attention to me even though they should,” Aine gently places a lock of golden hair down “It’s all I have and one of my most prized possessions.” Aine is after all a lady of vanity, but perhaps the star would like her golden mane as someone else had, though she was doubtful a star would listen to her lonely request.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: DaniellaRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): Regular Soquili Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Cerynei Soquili What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A Bouquet of Wolfsbane tied with a leather cord and a flask full of the best Tiswin (North American Indian alcoholic beverage brewed from corn) that her friend Kira had. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?"Dear Wishing Star I hope you are listening...", the small filly said to the night sky. She placed the bouquet of wolfsbane flowers and the flask of the special drink Kira gave her on the soft grass at her hooves before continuing, "These are for you Wishing Star, the wolfsbane is to keep you safe from the Skinwalkers and Kalonas if you ever feel like visiting earth and the drink is something my friend Kira gave me. When the two-leggers drink it they get really happy and I thought you might like some." The young foal kicked a rock shyly before looking back up at the bright star, "I wanted to ask you if you might be able to return my mother to me. I love Kira but she dosen't understand me and I don't know what she is trying to tell me, so I have no idea what I'm suppose to do. The other Soquili near the two-legger camp have helped me learn alittle bit but being an orphan they don't really stick around. I need my mom." She looked up into the sky, a tear or two falling on the grass below. "I would really appreciate it Wishing Star.... Please. Thank you." Daniella left the medow with the kind of hope only a young foal can posess.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Vienne Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Nephew Race (first choice): Kalona-Cerynei Cross Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Cerynei What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The Cerynei mare brings forth a broken tree branch, its off-shooting twigs curved into multiple points. Stripped of leaves, it looks a bit like an antler when looked at from the right angle. “I found this on the forest floor not long after I received word about my brother. It reminds me of his antlers,” she says. “It has meant much to me in the past few moons, but now I offer it to you.” Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? For a while after laying down her offering, the mare stood silently atop the hill, her short mane twitching in the unsteady sputters of the wind. The air kept changing directions, as if it was struggling to find its path. She decided that it was fitting for the tale she was about to tell. “Dear Star,” she began quietly, a small smile perched upon her face. “I remember my brother fondly. One could never hope to meet a more humorous and adventurous stallion, whose heart was as large as the plains are vast. But with a childish spirit like his comes a great capacity for making mistakes. When he was barely more than a colt, he fell in love with a wanderer that stumbled into our corner of the forest. It wasn’t long before she became pregnant, and he gave up his plans of adventure and promised to settle down with her. But, things didn’t work out as he planned.” “My brother’s lady friend wandered off before the foals were born,” she said with some hesitation, having tried to choose her words carefully. “Whether it was cold hooves or something less… innocent… It doesn’t matter now. He was heartbroken, and searched for her and his children for some time. Partly because of his search we became separated, but I at least managed to see him once a season or so for a while. Every time, he seemed to have taken up a different niche in some herd or group, never staying in one place for long. And he was always with a different mare… I think that he was lost or something, Star. But he was strong. The last time we met, he seemed to have recovered from his loss, pulled himself together, and even fallen in real love again. I was so proud of him.” Vienne chuckled a bit, her eyes sparkling in the starlight as she blinked a few times. “I heard somewhat recently from an old friend that my brother died in a fight with another stallion for that latest mare. Star, I know you cannot bring him back to me. But I wish that I could meet his children, and to tell them about the father they never met. And perhaps…” She sighed, looked around as if she was confiding a terrible secret to the star, and then whispered her final plea. “This may sound selfish, but I wish to look into my little brother’s eyes just one more time. His children are the closest I will ever get. Please, Star... Lead one of them to me.”

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: MidoriRelation: Mother Race (first choice): Alicorn Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A bushel of the plumpest spring apples she could find. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Midori looked up to the wishing star. "Oh, star... This is so silly... I mean, you're a star... But maybe, if you really can grant wishes, could you bring my mother home to me? She was such a wonderful mare; the most beautiful I've seen. I remember that she had the gentlest figure, and the silkiest of hair. And apples! Oh, she always smelled so strongly of delicious green apples... That is why I've brought apples to you, wishing star. I do miss my mother. I've been here so long now that her memory is fading... Please remind me of how she looks, of her beautiful hair and her soft, soft voice." The mare bowed to the star graciously and could only imagine how silly she looked. But oh well, it was worth a shot.

A True FriendWho is Wishing? (a Soquili, Familiar, or Kiwani persona) AshikaTell the wishing star a little about yourself: "I'm not... not the most outspoken of seals. I'm quiet, shy, and ultimately, very lonely. It's not easy, going through this world friendless. It took a lot of courage just to talk to you, you know, and you're, well, you're a star. You can't run off or ignore me. So, ah, I guess that's what I'm wishing for. Somebody like you to stay with me and be my friend. They wouldn't even have to live in the water; just knowing that they're on the shore is enough. Please?"10 Things I Like: Natural patterns, octopi, crossbreeds, long hair, scales, lizards, kelpies, scarves, silver, warhorse or draft builds (foot feathers in particular) 10 Things I Don’t Like: Minis, clashing colours, neon, teal/orange colour balance, evil, lifted knees What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? "I guess you must get pretty lonely up there, huh? Well, maybe not. You do have a lot of other stars around. Do you talk to each other? I'd feel really bad if you didn't. Um. What I guess I'm trying to say is that I want you to take care of yourself, Star. And here, take this. It's a red flower from distant shores. I've been told that it'll bring long life and good health, which I guess maybe even the stars need to worry about."

Echo leaves an offering of a hand-woven hemp rope with a cherished locket given to her from the human that watches over her. Inside is a picture of Echo and her twin brother as foals. It is the one small token she has left with a tangible reminder of what she seeks.Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Echo gazes at the star that's been shining brightly over the land with a yearning almost too painful to admit. The night's silence is broken as the mare speaks softly to the bright object. "Oh star. I do not know if it is possible for you to understand how deep my longing is to locate my twin. I know that deep in my heart that he still lives but I've not been able to locate him as of yet. Perhaps your powers could guide him to me. I've dreamed of our reunion many times. Please hear my prayer and help to grant my deepest wish."

A NemesisSoquili That Needs a Rival: NirmalaGender Preference: Either or. Surprise me. What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Nirmala leaves a lock of her beautiful tail. The purness of it with not a speck of dirt upon it and how bright it shone in the moonlight reminded her of the bright star in the sky. She always took great pride in her tail, especially since it held her greatest possession, her knife. So taking a lock of her tail, took great effort for her as now her tail looked uneven and not nearly as perfect. Short IC Response: Nirmala stared at the star shinining high up in the sky. Sighing she shook her head as there was no way a star could give her anything that she really wanted. It was a star, so how in the world could it possibly give her what her heart truly desired? She was bored with her normal life. What she really wanted was someone to bring some spice into her life. Someone that wouldn't try to woo her heart, or be her friend. Just someone that would spar with her, come out of nowhere with no warning and just attack. Someone she could truly call her enemy. After a few moments of staring up at the star, she turned her attention to the glow of her tail in the light. Perhaps she should give this a chance, and possibly have her wish come true. So in a quick fluid moment, she cut a lock off of her tail with her knife. "Star, if you truly do make wishes come true, find me my sparring partner. Bring some excitement into my life." She watched the star a bit more, and then turned, wandering away from the lock of hair she left shimmering in the starlight.

Nariko has traveled for many years trying to revenge the death of her clan. Slowly she removes the goldens sticks from her hair, laying them on the alter. A sign that she is ready to leave that life behind and move forward. Short IC Response: She took in a deep breath as she stood silently in front of the alter. It had been many years since the beginning of her journey and today, today would mark the end of her time as a lone fighter. She looked at the hair sticks that her father had given her, she had lay them on the alter as a gift... a symbol. "Wishing star," she cleared her throat, "I wish for a new love. My family has been lost to me and all I have known was hate... I want to change, Wishing Star. I want to feel again...." she felt rather silly talking into the empty skies, but she knew that this was the only way to gain the attention of the rare star over head. She glanced up towards the night sky, then back to the sticks on the alter. Her choice had been made and now, she had to wait.

A small onyx figurine carved to resemble a wolf. Short IC Response: "Hi! I'm Keetah!" She pauses for a response, imagining one in the twinkle of it's light, Keetah continues. "I hear you're all about the wishes. I like wishes. I wish all the time. But lots of times what I wish doesn't happen. And that's okay. Not every wish should happen even if we wish they did. But I really . . . well, there's a wish I really want. See . . . I'm kinda lonely. I like making friends and friends are good, but they arn't the same as having someone to really be with. To cuddle, I like to cuddle, cuddling is fun. So . . . if you could . . . I mean, I guess you could but if it isn't too much trouble. I would really like, I mean, I wish . . . well, I wish for someone to love, to be with, to have to talk to and stay warm with and . . . just . . . the one someone out there who is right for me. Who wants to be with me because he wants to be with me. And who I want to be with, cause that's important too. So . . . yeah, that's what I wish for. Um . . . thank you." With a slight shrug she places the onyx wolf on the ground, nudges it forward, then turns and heads back the way she came.
