 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx •○•○Neku Sakuraba•○•○ || ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neku opened his eyes and turned his gaze to Mel. He saw that she had caught three decent sized fish and Mel then asked him if he saw any bamboo or a decent sized rock with flat side so that they could get some water from the trees. Neku thought to himself and tried to remember the places he went before replying to Mel "Hmm...Bamboo...Flat side rock...". Neku sat up and pointed in the direction he saw and rubbed the back of his head with his other hand "I'm sure I saw some over in that direction. I'll go take a look" However, before he could get up and search for what Mel had asked, she told him to rest up a bit and went to the forest to look for the things she needed. Neku sighed and stood up and thought to himself " I can't let her do everything...I better go and help out..." He stood up and walked towards the forest " I'll probably need some sort of weapon to defend myself from any predators...Them bamboo sticks will come in handy..."... Neku went into the forest in the direction he had pointed to before and began looking for the bamboo and a long rock which he could use for the spear head. As he looked around he found a some bamboo sticks and gathered them and placed them in a pile. He then continued his search for a rock which was as long as a dagger. Eventually, Neku found out a long rock but the sides needed to be sharpened and he smiled "This looks good enough" He grabbed another rock and carved the sides to make them sharp enough to cut someone. He then grabbed a bamboo stick and stuck the rock into the top of the bamboo stick. However, that wasn't going to keep it in place and he needed something that would. Neku went back to the place he found vines and grabbed a few and returned to the place he left his makeshift weapon. He wrapped the vines around the rock and the bamboo stick and tightened them so that it would hold the long rock in place. Neku swung the short makeshift sword around [Look at number 4] to have a feel of the weight "This will do" He picked up and bamboo sticks and held them under his arm and carried his makeshift sword with his other hand and headed back to the beach. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ •○•○Captain of Squad 9•○•○ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

~Kenshin Harada~ "Well...I thought we were making small talk. You did say get to know each other" Kenshin replied. He stoked the fire a little, watching the smoke rise. He couldn't help but be silent as he listened to Dona. Then a faint rustling noise was heard in the forest. It was faint but loud enough to put Kenshin on guard. Surely he wasn't hearing things was he? He placed his hand on the spear, just in case something was there.~'Failure is the one who doesn't try'~

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   So small... When the girl found a rock that fit her needs it was to hevy to lift, so she started rolling it. It took a good ten minutes for her to get it back to camp. Once she managed that the girl set to work on a fire. To start she flattened a small area of sand went and got a few sticks from the pile neku made, pulled out her sharp object and started widdling to get some kindling.
She started singing to herself, it was a habit of hers developed over years of solitude. "We all live in a yellow submarine...." humming the tune as she worked she got a large pile of kindling from the sticks. She put about a third of it in a small pile. Then she got more sticks and arranged them in a ti-pi over the kindling. To get it started she foubd a dry rick and scraped her sharp object across it creating sparks. Yet so strong...

Yet I dont know how to use it...
I know I can go great things... Soren arched an eye brow at the girls sudden curiosity towards him before answering. "Yes... I suppose you could consider it in such a way..." He said rubbing the back of his head."shoot down ideas? my dear girl... did you not hear what I said? I am a scientist... I take every little piece of information or data given to me, and store it in my mind, as for whether I my self am willing to be the guinea pig OF these said ideas or future experiments... is a completely different subject... as for not liking you... I don't hate you... I just don't like you... you're a Shinigami... you all seem to think it's your duty to slay and or kill Arrancar and hollows... it's simply how we survive... while it ma be your duty to protect the humans... it is my duty to protect the lesser hollows out there... you're people have even killed some of my precious children..." He said raising his hand in a fist to his mouth before laughing quietly into it. "just because we're trapped on this island together, doesn't change what's happened in the past... but don't get me wrong... I'm not one to hold a grudge... however destroying my data... like you and more then likely your people have done in the past..." He said with that calm dead look he always had.
"Now... as for putting up with you... I wish to survive this little ordeal... as would I expect you to as well... so I'm willing to work with you on trying to survive... how ever don't try to build some kind of friendship or relationship out of this experience... this isn't a time for bonding... and if you're asking your self why? then think about it... say you do somehow befriend me... what happens when we get off the island... I go back to Las Noches... and you go back to the Seireitei... then what happens when we meet on the battlefield... being a Sociopath I would have no problem cutting down those that get in the way of my Data... however you being one to possess emotions... would leave your self at an unfair -disadvantage..." He said turning to start walking along the beach. "you can tell me about this story you mentioned earlier while we check the rest of the islands shores... I want to make sure no one else washed up..." He said not bothering to look back if she'd follow...
While he may have been an "a**" in most peoples eyes... At least he made sense and was quick and to the point, something that would be needed for survival and hopes of getting home... But why help those people...
They did nothing for me in any way...
All they did was laugh and mock...

 Well, arent you just the friendly one. Avehi did not see how he could be so blatantly rude, even though she was trying in her best attempt to keep on a decent level with him. "For your knowledge and know-how, I am not, in any way, a person. A person is a human. I am not. If you know what a faerie is, then good for you on knowing what I am." "And I only kill the Hollows who try to kill me. I do believe it's called survival. As for the story, unless you take a slight interest in mytholgy, then you'd most likely be bored at it." Since he seemed to be covering one half of the beach, Avehi decided to go to the other half: cover more ground and the chances of finding something would be doubles as well. But there seemed to be nothing of interest over here, and so she decided to go and follow Soren. "Oh dash it all, Soren is a jerk." She sighed, but went after him.

Neku arrived at the beach and saw Mel rolling a large rock which seemed too heavy for her to carry. He then saw that she was trying to make fire with sticks and stones. As he watched her, he walked over to her and dropped the bamboo sticks near her and bent down in front of her "Need any help with that Mel ?" As he asked her, he kept his eye on Mel scraping the sharp object across a rock to create sparks.
As he Neku waited for her answer, he held his makeshift sword in front of him and looked at the sides to see if they were sharp enough and mumbled to himself "Hmm...Still needs some work..." Neku grabbed the rock and began scraping the sides to sharpen the rock and to reform it so that it would look more like a weapon than a piece of rock.

Tho it just wound up the complete opposite and it was almost like she could imagine black thunder behind him... Never the less at least he was trying... He turned and continued walking only to stop a few minutes later at the sound of voices. "do you hear that?" He asked arching an eye brow. 'I know in a fight... without my Reiatsu or ability to read spirit codes I'm utterly useless... I can accept my own weaknesses... but I hope that she knows that...' He thought to him self looking back at her. "keep your guard up... you'll be defending both of us... I'm afraid my physical body's strength is... rather low... I've spent so much time in my lab that my muscle density has nearly diminished... I'm amazed I can even walk to be honest..." He said rubbing the back of his head before turning to keep walking.
((Ok when he says weak... He's talking like... Mel could whoop his a** if she wanted to xD

The girl looked at him when he asked if she needed help then said sweetly "No i got it Neku, but thanks for the offer." and smiled. The her smile grew as the sparks finally caught. When they did she bent down and blew on them gently to give them some oxygen. She laughed just a bit as the fire really started to grow then smiled at Neku. "I got it!" She said excitedly, then added a few sticks as it grew.
"Neku if you don't mind could you make me a little dagger? That's the weapon im used to." She said as she tended the fire. Then she sat and pulled he knees close holding them with her arms, and gazed deep into its center. She missed Lacura, the blade has always been there for her. The voices just argued in her head and offered bits of information when they felt it helped them. The girl started to cry, and for once her black eye was not searching for a fight. It rested on the flames along side the white one.
Yet so strong... ((Hey just cuz im small doesn't mean im that weak...))

Rana ranout from some bushes and nearly bumped into Kenshin, it was her quick reactions that stopped her in time. I'm sure i saw him going this way she looked around taking note of Kenshin who she just about recognised as squad two's vice-captain and a girl she has never seen before. It seems my sense of direction has not got better, however im glad to see another shinigami. she said to herself before running off towards a faint sound of water. To Rana water normally meant safety.
