"Um Steve. I think I might need your help on this one.", James yelled as he held his left arm out. Once Doomsday let loose a blast from his ring, James let loose one from his hand. His hand sparked as he let go a spark of electricity straight towards Doomsday's blast. The electricity and blast interwined as they exploded creating a small smokescreen.

With the cover of the smoke screen he grabbed his own shield and tossed it straight towards Doomsday's head. He knelt down quickly as he unleashed massive fire towards Doomsday.

With the sudden shot from Captain something changed. The wind howled as the clouds gathered above Doomsday with speed unheard off. James was shocked, he never saw anything like this before. He reached his hand up as he caught his returning shield. He tossed his gun onto his back along with his shield. He slowly started to back up as the sky above looked more and more fierce.

When suddenly a voice from the sky yelled, "If thy wishes to fight against the Captain. Then thy shall feel my THUNDER!". Up in the sky was the source of the voice, Thor. He stood in the sky with his hammer above his head. He lowered his hammer quickly as a bolt of lightning sailed from the sky and struck the car he was holding.

Thor looked to the Captain and a smile washed over his face. He flew down and landed beside the Captain. He looked down the road at the monster. He shook his head calmly, "Nay I have no idea. I thought thy would. Have you heard any word from our fellow Avengers? Ever since this event, everyone has gone missing. I am worried about them."

James took a deep breath as he grabbed his machine gun and reloaded it before tossing it on his back again. He quickly ran over to his down bike and rummaged through its pockets. He started to pull out parts of a gun. With his robotic hand working at full speed, he put together his sniper rifle in record time. He cursed under his breath as he said, "Dang, I need to time myself next time. I think I just broke my record".

Gripping the sniper rifle he placed it on his bike and took aim at Doomsday. His finger shifted on the trigger as he waited. He waited for the perfect shot. He especially waited for the monster to show his ugly face once more.

Thor moved to the side, stepping in front of the blast. He gripped his hammer tightly and swung it for all he had, as he redirected the blast right back towards Doomsday. He looked to Cap and then over to James who was still waiting for the right shot. Understanding what the Captain wanted him to do, he flew off.

He circled above Doomsday a few times before calling upon his powers. Infusing lightning with his hammer and himself, he flew as fast as he could towards the ground. Striking the ground directly behind Doomsday like a lightning bolt. Thor quickly grappled with Doomsday, putting him in a full-nelson type hold, using all of his strength to keep him still.

The Captain didn't have to tell him twice, he thought as his finger squeezed the trigger. The bullet flew out of the chamber as it flew directly towards Doomsday. That wasn't enough for James though, as he unleashed another 3 rounds towards Doomsday's skull.

James took in a deep breath, thinking this was it but what he didn't know was that the beast was still alive. James started to take apart his sniper when suddenly a figured appear in a flash of light. With instincts, James grabbed his shield and pistol ready to fight.

Before James could get a shot off, Thor beat him to it. Thor was shocked more then anybody that the beast went down that easily but then the man showed up. Thor didn't need any introductions to know he was an enemy, he just knew it. With lightning fast reflexes and speed, he flew towards Cosmos. Gripping his hammer with both hands, once he got close to the enemy he swung it again with all of his might straight towards the captain's head.

Thor groaned in pain as he crashed into the building. He quickly flew out of the building with great speeds only to stop himself. He knew he couldn't fit this being with pure strength, he had to tap into the Odinforce. Now was the perfect chance to test out how much power he truly wielded.

Thor closed his eyes as he concentrated his mind and powers through him, he tapped into Odinforce. His eyes slowly peeled open to reveal that they shifted from their normal sky blue to a pure white color. The sky above darkened as thunder and lightning roared above as rain started to fall. This wasn't a fitting setting for their battle.

Thor gripped his hammer as he shot forward at the speed of light, quickly tackling Cosmos and creating a portal that they fell through.

[Exit Thor and Captain Cosmos to Uninhabited System]

As they stepped through the portal and the portal closed, Lucas sighed, and rubbed the back of his neck. "Man... what a night," he said. "I've done things in the space of a few hours that hardly anyone can even dream of, let alone do... Is this what being a hero will be like?"
