Despite hearing everything that the two had said, Orion pretended that he didn't, except the last comment by Claire. "Yeah, me too!" He again said cheerfully, and by-passed Aulus by walking around behind him to appear at Claire's other side again.

"Heeeey.. haven't we met before?" he asked slyly, rubbing his chin with one hand and peering at the Rocket girl with one eye. "You look kinda familiar," he continued. Aulus just went completely ignored, Orion's attention focused solely on Claire. All the while, his big Milotic slithered along in the background, blinking quietly.

She halted suddenly as he popped up at her side again - no surprise this time - though stood where she was instead of trying to hide go on Aulus' other side again. An irritated scowl was aimed at him before she turned to inspect the cave walls again, trying to--

"What?" Violet eyes darted to him quickly as her blood turned to ice. Wait, no, he couldn't have, she didn't know who this guy was. Maybe he was promoted right after she left? Probably from another department, that's why she didn't know him. Either way, someone she'd never seen before wouldn't recognize her. He couldn't. Even if he did, she wasn't about to admit to a damned thing. "No. I would've remembered such an annoying idiot if we had," she said with a glare, keeping her tone level. It wouldn't do any good to raise any sort of suspicion. At all. She wanted to remain in one piece, thank you very much.

Shooting the green-haired man a glare but wasting no more breath on him for the time being, Aulus touched Claire's elbow briefly. If she wanted this guy's face rearranged he was happy to be the rearranger, orders or no orders; the guy seemed to be creeping her out... But why should she be so concerned by him? Maybe she was just annoyed, and still rattled by the crash. He wished he could read her better. He wished he knew more about her so that he could guess what it was that was making her feel however she felt. He still couldn't shake the memory of her and Lucas that first night in the cafeteria. Men who hurt women, and she hadn't wanted the name said again. Maybe that was it, she just didn't like strange guys apparently flirting with her. Orion's grin only broadened as he continued to tag along with the obviously uncomfortable girl. The insult simply rolling off like water on a Psyduck's back. "Aww, ya sure? I would definitely remember a pretty face like yours." And with that, he slid away from the two and back over to where his companions were.

"Hey, Tethys, ya miss me?"

The touch at her elbow was more unexpected than the obnoxious man popping up in front of her, and she briefly turned her gaze - a mixture of surprise, confusion, and possibly questioning - to Aulus before glaring at Orion. Several knuckles could be heard cracking for what was the second time so far, and she continued looking for more tunnels.

Zeus snorted at the weird man, glad he'd left to go bother the weird woman this time, before he hopped down onto the ground and his cheeks started sparking again to provide light. He wanted to get the hell out of here too, but not nearly as much as his owner did.

Something in Deimos' tone caught his commander's ear, and the woman's attention slid from the tiny Rocket scientist to the caped man and back again.

Tethys' eyes narrowed to glittering slits, hair bone white and skin weirdly orange in the Starmie's amber light as they moved along.

She said nothing - until Orion popped up beside her and was met with a flat "Never."

During all this walking and discussion TRP remained near enough to keep an eye on the Galactics, though she didn't comment or interact. If the team wanted to offer help to shut the Galactic boss up, that was fine by her. In fact, it was quite a relief when the sedative kicked in and Deimos relaxed. His tense mumbling only served to make her (and most likely the others) feel more anxious about the situation.

"It looks like there's an opening up ahead..."

Sure enough, the tunnel widened and gave way to another cavern. It wasn't the surface, but it was something. As light from their pokemon washed over the new cavern it illuminated large rocks scattered everywhere. Rock slides and cave-ins seemed like a regular things around here.

"..we need to see if there's any other openings...."

As they entered the new cavern... or sub-cavern, or whatever the hell it was Aulus couldn't help glancing upwards. He wasn't claustrophobic, but at least inside his own head he could admit to being a bit apprehensive. Maybe a bit scared. He couldn't beat the crap out of falling rocks, or fight the general scenery until it relented and changed into an easy path back up into fresh air. He didn't like being down here with these weird people who were apparently such a big damn threat to Team Rocket. He especially didn't like that green-haired one but at least he'd moved further forward now.

"Go see if you can find anything Tortie," Aulus said after a moment, "but be careful, come back if I whistle. Char, stay by me." Not much else he could do for the time being, but as the dark type moved out of his field of vision he felt nervous. She would be alright, right? She was quick on her paws. She'd be fine.

With nothing more he could do for his Absol he nodded brief thanks to the steady Charmelon who stood a pace behind him and to the left before turning to Claire. Giving her a nudge he jerked his head at the green haired idiot and gave her a questioning look. He didn't want to say anything aloud and doubted that she would either, but heh ad felt the need to communicate he confusion over and disdain of the creep.

At Tethys' cold reply, Orion stuck his lip out in mock disappointment. "Aww, yer no fun, Tethys!" Of course he already knew that. But if they were going to be stuck down here with a bunch of Rockets, he figured he might as well make the best of it!

When TRP announced that there was an opening up ahead, there was a sudden flash of light as the Milotic disappeared into its pokeball. Another Pokemon the replaced it, this one being a Lucario. "Go help 'em out or something, Bandit."

Faleen didn't choose to stay close the the Galactics, now that it was quiet she could focus on her own thoughts, and her own observations.

Once they stepped into the new opening, only to be faced with past cave ins, This only served to confirm the instability of this cavern.
"Hm..." She hummed thoughtfully to herself, working her way forward, and glancing around as Umbreon's light touched upon any walls of openings.

A hand reached to her belt for a moment, pulling up and powering on her Rocket dex.
Fingers sliding over the touch screen of her dex for a few moments before pulling up the newest, shiniest App on the tech.

Her hand moved to her neck, rubbing at it lightly with a soft frown on her face while she watched the program open up, and promptly get stuck on a screen that said 'Searching for location'

She let out a small sigh at this, had they been closer to the surface this might have worked, but the GPS program that Hayes had made and given her a copy for her Dex needed to have a signal, and they were clearly to deep for one.
Turning her gaze up after a few more taps onto the dex, she stared up at the rock ceiling.

"I know." Tethys' gaze swept across the new cavern, noting the fallen boulders and strewn piles of lumpen rock that littered the floor, and the way the walls were pockmarked with darkness that could be tunnels, dead ends, or both.

She glanced at the man clinging to her arm - which she'd crooked at the elbow like someone escorting an elderly lady - to see that he was all right, or as close to all right as he could be in the circumstances, and fingered another Pokeball.

A hunched little hominid beamed out in front of her, all jagged limbs and glittering gem eyes. Tethys regarded it with dispassion. "Find the tunnels. Then return."

With a high pitched chittering noise, the Sableye scampered off. Her eyes being useless in this near darkness, Tethys came to a halt near the middle of the cavern and looked about, surveying the Rockets. A brow raised at the emergence of a Rocket Dex.

Claire stayed close to Aulus as they headed into the next portion of the cavern, and at the nudge and his confused look she responded with a huff and a glare directed towards Orion, then a slight shrug. She didn't know who he was and honestly didn't care, as long as he stayed the hell away from her.

Oh well. She pulled another pokeball from her belt, this time releasing Artemis. Gazing down at the two pokemon near her, she pointed off to a random wall. "Do the same. Find any tunnels and then report back."

"Chu," was the reply Zeus gave her, while Artemis simply tilted her head. "Awrr?" But when the Pikachu bounded off with his cheeks sparking, she wagged her tail and bounded after him. She had a job!

Rocket Agent Aila

PostPosted: Sat Apr 23, 2011 5:20 pm

'Get in and get out' had been the original premise of the mission, and it remained an important aspect - the the focus had shifted more towards the latter half of the brief. Thus, Aila proceeded alongside the group without expressing a particular interest towards any of the comprising individuals. Instead, she kept her attention on the surrounding environment, searching through the darkness for a traversable path. They came upon one, but it was promptly closed off. Aila was beginning to dislike caves.

A motion of a pokeball found a pink Growlithe at her side, and she turned to it with her command, "Charmant, we're in need of a means of moving forward. See what you can find." Without a sound or motion of acknowledgment, the fire-type departed from her trainer's side to complete her assigned task, her sensitive nose searching for any drafts or changes in scent that might indicate an opening.

There was a quiet, rapid flapping that moved through the darkness that came to a stop when a small Zubat landed on Nyx's shoulder. He'd found the cavern, that was really all he'd been asked to do, and he'd done well. There were quite a few pokemon already looking for another tunnel, so Doppler got to rest for the moment.

"Is it getting a signal?" Nyx turned to Faleen, hopeful that maybe they could radio to HQ and get someone to come get them out of there and capture the Galactics.

Galactic Deimos

PostPosted: Sat Apr 23, 2011 5:37 pm

Tethys' glance would find Deimos staring across the cavern, eyebrows peaked with interest. He too had spotted Faleen's pokédex.

Rather abruptly, Faleen would find the purple-haired man hovering over her shoulder, eyeing the device. He'd released his hold on Tethys' arm and, for the moment, seemed distracted from his terror, "...is that a wide angle volumetric holographic display?"

TRP frowned at this, watching the Galactics out of the corner of her eye as the other Rockets sent their pokémon out to scout the cave. Unfortunately, they wouldn't find any open tunnels, though far off to the left amongst a clump of stones and a large boulder, any pokémon with a sensitive nose might be able to distinguish signs of air movement behind the pile of rocks. It seemed likely they were covering another tunnel.
