A few comebacks I know (kinda off topic) :

Person: It's just a phase.
Me: Is my entire life a phase?

Person: But you don't look gay.
Me: That's because I'm one of the secret agents. Glad to know the disguise is working. xd

Person: What do gay people do in bed?
Me: Sleep, relax, read, and occasionally watch T.V.

Person: That's so gay!
Me: Comments like that are so straight .

gods this is probably my favourite xd of course you are all awsome heart but this was favourits mrgreen

I laughed so very hard at the secret agent one.

biggrin ah-ha! It makes me smile that "That's so straight" is making it around. I remember my brother and I were driving and we play insulting each other, which went from calling each other names, to yo mama jokes and then he stuck it to me with something I don't really remember but I said: "Ew. that's so straight! Whai so straight!?"

He didn't have anything to say other than "whuuuut?" then laughed with a face palm.

People keep questioning me because I'm a virgin "at my age" and a lesbian and catholic... apparently this is an impossible combination.

Something happened to me to "make" me a lesbian
... uh yeah, I figured out I liked girls

All lesbians just haven't met the right guy or need to "have a real man" before they actually know if they are fully lesbian or not.
Yet its completely alright for a straight guy to not have sex with another guy and never figure out he's actually bi/gay.

Ooooh the one I hear a lot is
"Oh so you don't want any kids?"
Me: "yeah eventually one day when I'm out of school and have a decent job"
This confuses the crap out of some people

As an FtM, sometimes people piss me off by saying stuff like "You use strap-ons, then?" Unless you have a very personal and sexually-driven interest in what's in my pants, I suggest you ******** off and mind your own business.

Plus there is the, other than being degrading, gag-inducingly unoriginal "You're a girl!" "You have a v****a!" "You don't have a p***s!" Usually I respond to the last one with "If you don't shut up, you'll soon be in the same situation." (This usually only works on guys.)

The other day I was out walking, and this girl came up to me and asked me if I was a guy or a girl. I told her I'm a guy. She then started trying to tell me that I'm not. I was wearing my binder that day, but she still said "You have boobs!" I felt my self-esteem fall a little bit. I guess I'm not that good at passing. Plus, she's a b***h. [/pride hurt]

A few people, including a close friend of mine, have told me that they refuse to recognize me as male unless I get surgery. I'm glad to know that what's in my pants defines me as a person.

People at my school know me as a girl because I didn't start transitioning until the end of sophomore year. When I tell people that I'm a guy, and they tell me that I have a v****a, it makes me wonder. How the ******** do they know? I've never run around school naked, and I've never had sex. The only people to see me naked were my parents when I was ******** born. So how can they be so god-damned sure?

I apologize for my rage.

I'm with Cody on the "recruiting gays." It is the absolute most ridiculous stereotype I hear on a regular basis. Most stereotypes have SOME grounding in reality... I have met the fashionable gay guy with the lisp. I have met the butch lesbian. But NEVER in my life have I ever seen evidence for-- for this-- this ridiculous thing that is not even a thing. XD Just... WHAT?

I live with a gay guy who has pretty much said "Oh- I wish he'd be more open to having sex with me, I'd show him he's not straight." His boyfriend was really pissed when he heard that because it's the same line straight women use on him because he's gay.

Shanna66
just remembered another one thatmy old coworkers and even some of my friends still believe to this day

men cant be bisexual and that all women are bisexual

if all women were bisexual then i would have had alot more girlfrioends growing up. most of the girls i liked were straight xd

That all girls are bisexual thing is an idea that came about because a study showed that while not all men could be aroused by both genders- 100% of the AFAB women could be aroused by both genders.

It was only a single bind study if I recall.

So- my contributions are these wonderful satires!
The Bizarre World of the Bisexual
The Homosexual Menice
The Perils of Lesbianity

So, for my personal experiences-
Person1: Oh! I didn't know Annette was a lesbian!
Riri: Annette isn't- I'm 3rd gendered
Person2: But wait- are you a boy or a girl?
Riri: Neither- I don't fit in that dichotomy
Person1: But what genitals do you have?
Riri: Why? It isn't like you're ever going to see them. talk2hand

(Annette- my beloved partner for the last decade isn't a lesbian- if that matters to anyone)

And here's a list-
Being either AMAB or AFAB makes someone a man or a woman.
Being in a poly relationship as someone who is bi makes me loose.
Being AMAB or AFAB means that if I wasn't bi or pan- that somehow I'd be straight or gay and just "pretending" about my gender identity.
That my orientation and sexual expression came from trauma.

and I'm currently questioning my gender identity x)

Don't appologize, I understand your irritation entirely!
People can be jackasses. I get the same treatment from some, as if having a p***s suddenly qualifies you in every possible department. Plus I think people are at times looking at my chest sneakily to try and figure out what's behind the shirt. Wasn't there a whole 'what's inside truly counts, not the wrapper' movement anyway? =/.

That said, I'm also glad there are people around who are not like that o_o.

I've had a long-time friend say he wouldn't accept me as a guy because he didn't feel attracted to guys. Uh, I wasn't asking you to feel attracted to me.... >_>. Or people who ask when I 'decided to be a guy'. When a man and a woman loved each other very much and decided to make me, I can only assume. You know, the usual way o_o.

"Transsexuals are just homosexuals in disguise/denial."

This.

Also, that every GLB is a sex-crazed freak. Especially for bisexuals, since apparently we have loads of orgies and only date two or more people at the same time for sex only. Which is strange, considering I'm 20 and still a virgin, and holy hell I'm a pansexual. I guess someone just left my poly-side in the closet. Actually, I need to go check.

Finally, there are no female-to-male transsexuals. All transwomen are wardrobe-shaped drag queens from your nightmares and there are no transmen.
Oh and transpeople dress as the "opposite" sex to trick innocent bystanders into homosexual acts, because you only ever notice someone's actually a gay male/lesbian female when they've already done their thing to you.

<3 I love your mind.

That, as an FtM Transsexual, I want to be a guy.
I don't want to be a guy. I am a guy.

That I'm a transsexual because I've been oppressed/abused and only want to be physically stronger to defend myself.
Uhm, no. It's for mental and emotional reasons - to be comfortable in my own skin.

That since I'm becoming a guy, I can't like guys.
Gender identity and sexual orientation are two distinctly different things.

All the other ones were already said, and maybe these were too...

One I've heard is that bisexuals are just people who can't make up their mind. I know it's not that bad a stereotype, but it gets annoying. I mean, I'm flexible with who I should love. Get over it.
