((Thanks Lily. I hope you guys enjoy doing the assignment.))
Amelia stood while she tucked the paper into her bag. She smiled at Meiko, walking out right behind her, "Yeah, I need to go to the common room, I have that history project to work on too." The one she was starting to worry about. The one she had no idea how she was going to handle it. But she promised herself to figure it out. Maybe she'd write this paper first. That would seem better. She thought to herself as she left Meiko to head to the common room. Homework to be done.
~
Cerise, who was impatiently waiting for the class to leave so she could as well, looked up to see a boy she hadn't notice enter. Some teacher she was. She nodded to him, lifting the paper with her wand and gently letting it land upon his desk. "Just give me a couple of paragraphs. On the back are some questions that should help you get started." She stood, walking around her desk, "And your name young Gryffindor?" She was amazed by how the boy, seemingly new, already found colors to match his house. Maybe it was just a coincidence.

Always lived my life, up to it's fullest. I've never had the chance to look back Just being myself, just being me, not trying to be what I lack. Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor "Caiden, Professor. I'm a fourth year, and very new. But, I think I'm getting along just fine. Thank you for the paper, Ma'am." He glanced at the paper, noting the questions on the back. He would get to it as soon as possible.

[[ Just want to leave a small suggestion for your post style. How about blue text for Amelia and black text for Cerise. That way when you do the joined post's like the one above, it would be easier to tell the too apart. Like I said just a suggestion. I'm very much enjoying how crazy strict your Professor OC is. If I was still a student I would so give you a hard time. lol ]]

|| Ohhh, don't worry. Once the class gets started, Caiden will be giving her hell... xD Sadly, he's going to start losing a lot of points for Gryffindor...||

[[ Guess it's a good thing that Gryffindor has so many points built up as a cushion. However as Head of House you lose too many and I'll have you cleaning bedpans until the year is over. ]]

((I love playing how strict she is too. And good. I want someone, especially someone in Gryffindor (^^) to give her a hard time.))
Cerise nodded, replying, "I'm Professor Benoit. It is a pleasure to meet you." She didn't have him bother with the fact about himself. She'd never use that as a introduction again as terribly as it was today. She walked Caiden to the door, reminding him, "I'll be here if you have any questions. If not, I will see you Monday." With a final nod, she turned letting him get lost into the crowd. She herself stood a decent height above most of the students, a fact she'd grown used to. She was heading towards the Headmistress's office.

Meiko came in class early, and sat in her usual seat. She hummed a random tune as she took her quill and notebook out. Then, she started to draw white irises and some orchids in her notebook, reminding her of Christopher Lestrange. She said in her mind, looking a bit down. "Maybe I should move on, that would probably be the best for both of us..."

((Okay. First of all, I’ve decided I’m going to separate years. On Monday, I’ll give a lesson to the first years. Tuesday, will be for third and forth years, since we don’t have any seconds. At least I don’t think so. If you are, tell me. Wednesday I’ll have a spell to go over for the sixth and seventh years. Likewise, I don’t believe there are any fifth years. If you just want your character in the class, that’s fine Meiko. I just will go into a little more depth with the spells.))
Writing on the board, Cerise took note of someone entering. She did not look up, merely greeted with a polite “Good morning, how are you this morning?” She would let the girl know she didn’t have to be here first thing a little bit later. For now, she finished writing.
Windgardium Leviosa: Hover Charm Pronunciation: win-GAR-dee-um lev-ee-OH-sa - Etymology: ‘wing’ as in a bird’s wing. ‘arduus’ as in heights; ‘levis’ light (not heavy) Description: Levitates objects. Wand Movement: swish and flick Think about history of this spell. When could it have been used? For what purpose?
Cerise turned around and smiled at Meiko. Her wanderer. She never seemed to be quite focused on one thing, but the young teacher, with her confidence freshly renewed, was sure she could still teach her. “I’m going to go over a spell for the first years. If you want to stay and help, you’re welcome to.”

Blaine walked into the classroom, then stopped in surprise when she saw that the only other people here were a seventh year Ravenclaw and Professor Benoit. She slowly sat down in the back again and tried to make as little noise as possible. She wasn't used to being early. But at least it gave her the opportunity to examine the other students in the class as they walked in. She was fond of people watching. It was always entertaining to see how other people walked or acted when they were comfortable or uncomfortable.

"G-Good morning, ma'am... yes, I'll stay and help." Meiko politely said half-smiling at her professor.

'You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dwell the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve, and chivalry Set Gryffindors apart;' Ginelle Ginny Alaine DeLuccia . Thinking . . Speaking . . Action .
Ginelle came into the classroom, reading the assignment of a new charm on the board. Her eyes widened, as she wanted to start the new incantation right away. But, then she continued reading. Would she actually get to use the spell? Who knew? She took a seat, then took out a piece of parchment from her bag and an quill. She began taking notes on the subject, figuring it would come in handy later on.

((Well, I'll start the third and forth years after we go over the spell a little. I keep forgetting that schedules are hard to keep. Also, your paragraphs are due Wednesday. Please format your response in paragraph form. I'll have them graded by Thursday.))
Amelia entered with quiet steps, hurrying to her seat beside Meiko. Only after she was in it did she remember her decision to sit in the back. Trying to sigh silently, she shook her head at herself, pulling out the piece of paper. Quickly she copied the board. She knew the spell, having practiced it earlier. She felt confident she could cast it. Even though she was nervous. Well, it only partially was hers. As Blaine entered the class as silently as possible, it increased. Swallowing, she tried to keep herself from shaking like a leaf. Goodness, she hoped today would be calmer.
Cerise nodded to Meiko's decision as she watched the girls enter. It was refreshing how quiet they were. Yes, these girls knew their place. They were sure to become proper ladies. She greeted each individually by name, a feat that surprised Amelia. But through and through Professor Benoit was a teacher, and that meant she focused completely on her kids. Yes, she knew she could be strict, but that was necessary for them to survive. Her head held high, she addressed Blaine, "I believe we have Lily left of the first years. ((Correct me if I'm wrong.)) Have you seen her this morning?" She knew they were in the same house, which might have meant they were in the same dormitory and therefore she should know. Either way, she continued, "She shall be able to catch up. Now, think about the Hover charm. As I'm sure it's name gives away, it lifts things. Remember, this will not be strong enough for quite some time to truly lift a heavy object such as a person. There are better charms for lifting people." Amelia nodded, remembering her mistake with Sparrow. "For this spell we will start off simple. With a feather." With a swish and flick of her wand, she passed them out. Continuing she spoke, "This spell is frequently the first one used in Charms. Therefore it is known as the easiest. That does not mean you will not have difficulty with the charm." Her gaze pierced through each of them, seemingly at once. "Now do you remember what's necessary in proper spell casting?"

Ginny was thinking very hard on this. Proper spell casting? Where had she learned some facts on that? She knew she learned it somewhere... After a moment of silence in the classroom, Ginny raised her hand and said "I believe... Pronounciation is important, Professor Benoit, as also is the spacing of each syllabol..." Ginelle put her hand down, hoping she didn't just make a fool of herself. That would not have been great. That's when it hit her. She learned it in Transfiguration. The first spell she ever learned...

Cerise nodded, a twitch of her lips forming a grimace that supposedly could be classified as a smile. "Excellent, mademoiselle, I see you remember well." With an encouraging, well more so than the smile, nod she added, "Please continue, what else do you remember?" she knew she hadn't been there for class, but she was testing her. To see what she knew.
