Alexis shrugged, somewhat amused. "I figured she needed skin-to-skin contact for it to work, so I manipulated the energy in my body so while it seemed, obvioiusly, to her, that I touched her, and I did, my skin didn't come into contact with hers," he said with a slight chuckle. "It was similar to using a glove, really; in my case, it was a static energy 'glove'. I know when she calms down and thinks about it closely, she'll remember when I 'touched' her, her skin likely tingled briefly from the slight static charge," he said thoughtfully.

 "She might but she isn't planning on coming back anytime soon," she said. She followed them up the few stairs into the back door. "So how did you come up with that idea?"

Alexis shifted slightly. "Let's just say it was half a guess and half a spur-of-the-moment thing," he said quietly. He tilted his head slightly as he walked through the door, taking a slightly larger step than normal, glancing up to spot a bucket on the edge of the ceiling fan a few feet inside the kitchen with a wire trailing from it. "Nice try with a tripwire, but it's one of the oldest pranks," he muttered, taking half a step back. He heard a ting as his head turned the moment the weight dropped on the fire extinguisher and triggered it straight at him in a blast of white mist. Fortunately when he heard the sound he closed his eyes to keep from being blinded by the extinguisher foam.

 Ororo frowned. "Bobby!" she called. "Jubilee don't try sneaking off." She moved out of the way of the spray but she still got a little of the blast. She undid the wire that held it on. It wasn't really worth it since most of the foam was now outside the can but it stopped. "Jean, get him some warm clothes. Gambit, a hot drink. We don't want him to get hypothermia."

Alexis wiped most of the foam off his face and noticed the semi-surprised look on Jubilee's face. He cocked his head slightly. "I don't think Jubilee had any idea of this, Ororo," he said. He saw Gambit stride away into the hall and chuckled. He saw a brown haired guy slip out of the shadows and grabbed the weight, deliberately letting the foam from the extinguisher cover it before he flicked it like aiming to skip a stone on water. The weight slid on the hardwood floor, bouncing up onto the carpet and sliding upside down until it stopped. By either dumb luck or the fact he'd put just enough strength behind the toss, Bobby stepped right on the weight, which shot forward deeper into the hall and sent him flat on his back looking straight back at them. "Two months of skipping rocks during a summer in Yellowstone makes one heck of a difference," Alexis said idly, noticing Ororo's momentary glance of surprise.

"My apologies, Jubilee." She went to the mutant on the ground. "I suggest you apologize to him and clean the mess up. You'll also replace the fire extinguisher." She helped him up.

Alexis tilted his head as Bobby stood, apparently trying to hide a grin. "I wouldn't worry too much... I'll probably end up getting him back when he least expects it," he said, spitting out a little of the foam as it slid down his nose, grimacing at the nasty taste. "I'm personally craving two things at the moment: a bacon cheeseburger and chili cheese fries," he said softly. He noticed Jubilee's eyes lighting up with interest as if he'd said something she liked as well.

 Jubilee liked the guy already. "I know just the place to get the best of both. It isn't far from here either. We can go as soon as your dried and changed," she said with a smile. She left to go get her wallet and a set of keys.Jean shook her head and handed Alexis a towel. "You said the magic words to her," she said handing him a towel. "I recommend seat belts and a tight grip on your seat. She isn't really the best driver."

Alexis shrugged as he took the towel, wiping most of the foam off his head. "With whose car, hers or Scott's?" he said with a deadpan tone, joking; he wasn't sure how old Scott was, but assumed the guy had a car. He jumped when he heard a gruff voice behind him. The towel swung over his shoulder, wiping off the foam there though he didn't notice the slight reddening within the foam. "Who's the kid? I smelled Sabretooth 'fore I smelled the kid... tracked him by the blood scent," Logan said gruffly. He saw Jean blink as if momentarily distracted before she glanced at him as Ororo looked concerned. "What are you talking about? I dodged... though it is possible I may have reacted fast enough to evade a dangerous wound," Alexis said, his voice dropping at the last part as he muttered under his breath. He twisted, not noticing the tears in the back of his shirt or the shallow cuts that formed a short 'V' shape moving from his shoulder blades to a few inches from his spine.

"A runaway I think," Jean said in response to Logan's question. She watched Ororo head toward the boy with concern as she approached as well. "Sabertooth was around."Ororo moved towards the boy. "Come, let's get you cleaned and bandaged," she said seeing the tears. She ignored the looks from Logan as she lead Alexis out of the room.

Alexis glanced at the guy as Ororo led him from the kitchen. "I assume that's Logan, though I'm pretty sure I avoided those... Nobodies' blades when they aimed at me," he said softly, revealing he'd been aware of what the other being had been saying while in control temporarily. Logan cocked an eyebrow under the black and dull yellow mask he wore. "An' the kid had the balls to face him down? Kid has guts doin' that, though I know the wounds ain't from Sabretooth... too damn clean, and Sabretooth ain't the kind to just scratch lightly at his prey like a cat with a scratchin' post... he aims to do damage, an' not the pleasant kind," he said gruffly, noticing the kid glancing back at him.

Ororo nodded at his assumption. She thought a moment thinking of what had happened. She looked at his back, noticing it didn't look like Sabertooth's work. She couldn't be sure but it looked like a knife wound. She didn't voice it. "We'll find out if Sabertooth got to you or if it was the blades of those...Nobodies," she said unsure if she liked the term or not. She pushed a door open to the "Nurse's" office. This was a school front after all. She set him on the bed and got a better towel than the dish towel for him to use for the foam.

Alexis tilted his head, wiping more of the foam off his body as he half leaned, half sat on the bed-table. "If anything, it's probably more of a scratch, and Sabretooth didn't really get close enough to me to scratch me after you hit him with that lightning bolt... it seems from what I could gather after he took control that Nobodies, at least that's one name for them, I think... aren't as common as some beings, though that's just a guess, since they're kinda quiet about their pasts," he said softly.

Ororo set about getting the appropriate supplies needed. She came back and slid some gloves over her hands. She picked up a cotton swab and some perioxide. She soaked it and placed it in some clamps. She then began to clean the wounds. "What are Nobodies?" she asked never having heard of nor played Kingdom Hearts.

Alexis winced slightly, blocking out the stinging coolness. "There are actually two hearts within a human body: the physical one, and the spiritual one... loss of one is the loss of life... the other is loss of soul, of self. Sometimes the darkness within people grows and consumes them and the spiritual heart... resulting in a creature of pure darkness. The stronger the darkness in the heart, the stronger the creature spawned is... they're known as Heartless, and sometimes, when someone loses their spiritual hearts, a second body is created, usually with personality traits and mannerisms similar to their true body; unfortunately they have no true bodies of their own nor do they have spiritual hearts, so they're called Nobodies... from what I was able to gather from Axel... the male spirit.. both groups, Heartless and Nobodies, can take varied forms, but both are spawned from darkness," he said softly, fairly sure but uncertain in places of it since he'd only heard of the game and had never played it himself; most of the information he'd gotten had actually come from Larxene, though he doubted she realized it.
