Jove quivered as the figure leaned closer, the stench almost making him retch. And that was not something easily done for a ghost who did not need to breathe, even one with a nose as sensitive as the pup's. The odour just permeated the air so thickly it seemed to ooze right through him.
When the apparition spoke he thought he would indeed die a second death, but he was saved by a lucky stroke of insanity, and winced as it shrieked and dashed off. His legs threatened to collapse under him, but instead he puffed up his little chest and tried to look unphased, for Tomoko's sake. He even trotted some ways after the figure before turning to examine the pile of stuff that fell out.
His questioning glance towards the kitsune seemed to ask if she knew what to make of it.

Tomoko had nearly broken her empty first aid kit with how hard she clung to it (not really, but she liked to think she had hugged it pretty hard), leaving an impression of it on her arms when she finally released it, watching with perked ears as the apparition bolted for the hills...or the lockers.
Ouch! That smack into the wall seemed to be a painful one and Tomoko might have inquired if the apparition was alright if they hadn't already turned to run off down another hall. Was it going to another wing to harass someone else now? She certainly didn't want it coming back to her and Jove, that was for sure.
Tagging along on the ghost-boy's tail to see what had happened to the lockers that had come open. The kitsune carefully looked into the lockers to see if there was anything interesting inside of them, only to find a lot of nothing..well.. a few cobwebs and some faded graffiti, but other than that, nothing.
With that assessed, she crouched down, setting her own first aid box down to peer into the two that had clattered out of the locker.
"Think we can use anything that's in 'em?" she asked, pulling some less-than-sanitary things out before picking up a still-wrapped length of bandaging from one of the boxes, ears standing straight up in surprise before holding it out for Jove to assess as well.

"Hopefully for now Holly." He won't lie about feeling like a silly goose, always having to introduce himself. But its not like he had no choice and besides, he didn't want to be called over by "Hey you." or "Kid" or even worse, Puppy. Oh just the mere thought of it made him want to kick something across the hall.
He decided to keep his hands busy with twirling the metal pipe around and tried to open another door. Nope this one didn't budge either, just like the map indicated. It was peculiar that the map was so accurate about the accessible rooms in such a run down place. " Yeah Raziel, which room did you find it in?" maybe if there was one note, there might be another. It was a good hunch.
He was going to ask Aurian if she had any idea what the paper meant, but the sound of slamming against a metal object echoed through the halls. His ears tiled in its direction as he whipped his head around. "You think the others are alright over there?" He asked the reapers with concern edging into his voice.

Sin was about to answer Alcyone when she caught something out of the corner of her eye a strange flickering. Then she froze and stood stock still gripping the metal locker handle tight and staring. Her eyes were fixated on the figure that had appeared behind Jove. It was one of those hooded reaper things, like the one that had stolen that poor Demoness. She was terrified, absolutely terrified, all her mothers nightmare tales came rushing back at her. Her skin even seemed to pale, an odd shade compared to her usual pallor.
When it spoke Sin cringed and seemed to try for once in her life NOT to be noticed. Then it taunted the pup like student with papers before running off. She might have found the way it banged into the lockers comical if she wasn't so frightened. Even though it was gone she stood still as if afraid it would return at any moment. Finally she pried her fingers away from the locker and felt herself sway a bit before standing straight.
Tomoko was a shy ghoul, but she was a demon, so Sin felt she ought to at least say something. "Hey...Tomoko...and.." She tried to remember Jove's name from her classes, yes he had been in minipet training with her hadn't he? "Jove? Are you two alright?"

stage 1 results Beyond a note and a lot of clutter, the school doesn't seem to produce much of real use or interest. The lockers that would open varied between empty, cluttered, and disgusting, though the one with the voice (a radio of sorts?) was a bit curious. Unfortunately for those students looking through them, a couple of the lockers were discovered to be booby trapped. Nothing fatal, though that could just be due to the noxious gasses and small explosives being a bit past their expiration date. What kind of school was this again?! The classrooms were pretty standard, and the west wing could almost be called boring. The east wing seemed pretty similar, that is...until bugs began streaming out of the airvents. For several minutes the air turned a shiny, writhing black as thousands of them flew out the door to the courtyard, toward the gymnasium. More than a few didn't make it that far, as getting lodged in student mouths, noses, ears, and clothes proved unhealthy for both them and the students. -west wing: nothing happened - east: the bugs have cause a loss of 2hp - lockers: though the worst of the booby traps were dodged you still lost 1hp - did not choose: -3hp stage 2 Between the bugs and the radio, what you're looking for may be in the gymnasium. If you go out and check it, the map proves to be accurate: the thing is definitely locked and holding firm. The doors are scorched and pocked, looking as if someone had tried blasting it open to no avail. There is, however a keyhole.Your Choices: It's possible something was missed in searching the classrooms. You decide to go back over them with a fine tooth comb. By turning a bust around in room 104, you find that the back of the head is broken in, a note card rests inside. In room 102, a poster of a calculator and key descriptions has a small hole beside the enter key, a small glint can be seen through it. By tearing the poster back, you find a set of keys labeled "spare." Uninterested in searching the classes again, you decide to make use of some of the more dangerous lockers. Looking more carefully a few of them, you see a few that were booby trapped but didn't go off when opened. Probably the explosives were dead...but...it wouldn't hurt to try? (Yeah right.) And even though it looked like the gym door couldn't be blasted...maybe one of the closed off doors? Turns out: -the explosives work -the girls' bathroom is equally as disgusting as the boys' -the supply closet only contains a single pack of gum -the janitor had a set of keys labeled "spare"

Embarrassing as it would be, Bul wailed in pain as the crawling creatures he typically would not mind assaulted his wounds in their attempt to flee their confines. Little itchy bites now matched his scratches and he curled up on the plain mattress until they finally left. "F.. ********..." he winced and scratched at some of the bites. He could have sworn he at least ate one which was totally fine but this situation was definitely not good.
When it was finally over he looked up from under his shielding arms and snorted a few left over bugs from his nose.
"Guys... guys we gotta get outta here..." he clamored in fright. Pushing himself up and touching the floor Bul watched as his knees shook with each step. "Let's go find the others like.. right now.." It was almost a demand but who could blame the monster? "They've got to have found something.." he said and limped his way back to the hallway where he'd wait for the other few to join.

Waiting until they got the 'all clear' from Bul, they each filed into the room, but found the opposite of what they had hoped. "What the hell..?" The room was empty! Nothing! There was absolutely nothing here! Whatever was left behind was drenched with unclean moisture. Not a thing to help them.. "I.. I.." At a loss for words as, her mind struggled to deal with this problem they were now facing. "Sorry.. I think we're out of luck.. This is definitely the place.. but.." Watching as the hungry ghost searched through the cupboards, with no luck, she took a seat on the ground. What was with this place?
Letting her gaze wander over to Junko as she spoke, she had the sudden urge to mention something about hair and growing as she stared at her. The know it all attitude.. No doubt, it was definitely her. Ignoring her comment on clothing for the time, she waved her hand at her in a dismissive way. "Even if someone had come and taken all of the stuff, I doubt they would have taken everything. There would really be no need to.." Why bring even the useless items, when you could take just the good stuff? Whatever.. This place was filed under odd in her mind from the moment she had set foot in it.
Placing her head in her hands, she took note of Bul's apologetic look. It was her who felt as though she had let him down though.. "I don't think so, and even if we did, I think we would just run into the same problem again."
Lifting her head at an unfamiliar sound arriving closer by the second, Mei looked up to the air vent just as the bugs began to pour out. "Eeeeee! Getthemoffgeththemoff!" Swatting at the bugs, she gave up entirely and instead covered her head and any cracks in her skin to avoid any further damage, she only prayed that none had managed to worm their way through . Shuttering after realizing they had already gone, she rubbed at her arms, desperate to get the crawling sensation to stop. "Oh Jack, this is so gross." She cried, still rubbing her arms. "E-eh, wait up Bul!" Calling after him, no hesitation occurred as she followed after. She was NOT sticking around for more of these things to crawl out the vent!

Everybody seemed to be asking him about the note. What did it say, where was it, what room? Honestly, Raziel hadn't paid any attention to the room numbers for the rooms that he had been going into, but he knew the one with the note was the same as the one West had propped open the door of. "Umm, it was that room," Raziel replied, jerking a hand in the direction of the door.
Before they had even gotten the chance to go back in the room and look at the note as a group, there was a loud CRASH as something ran into something else in another part of the school. There wasn't any yelling after the crash, so Raziel had to assume that it either wasn't another student, or whoever had hit the lockers was already dead.
Since there was no screaming, and no real reason for alarm, Raziel thought it would be better to continue exploring the rooms, maybe a little more in depth. He walked into the room with the faint 102 above it, this time actually paying attention to the room he was in. He searched around the desks, through drawers and cabinets.
He was about to give up when a slight shine caught his eye. It was much like the shine that would gleam off his metal pieces had he not been so dirty. The shine came from part of a poster of some strange object. Looking a little closer, there was a hole. Raziel grabbed a nearby pencil and began poking the hole, not wanting to stick his fingers into a trap of any sort. After the poking, the hole got larger, revealing the source of the shine.
"You guys! I found something!" he shouted back to the group that had gathered in the West Wing. "It looks like a set of keys, I wonder what they unlock."

Jove's ears mirrored the little kitsune, perked up with curious attention as he took the bandage roll. Unfortunately the little ghost... well, had never seen bandages or what they were used for, and was unsure what the little roll was for. It wasn't tape, like they used at school, that's for sure...
He was starting to feel a little ill from the scents lingering in the area as he inspected the roll of bandages, but he finally handed it back to Tomoko with a confused expression tinged with defeat. The flopped ears spoke volumes. No, he had no idea what this was for.
If Jove had more experience with injuries and treating them, he might have tried patching up that oozing cut in his side, or running straight back to the group with the treasure so they could help out that cut up stripy boil.

"They're clean bandages!" Tomoko chimed, more surprised at their pristine state than anything else. "We can use these, Jove!" It was the best freakin' discovery ever. The kitsune paused to look over her own scrapes and cuts. Since getting on the island, she'd been relatively unhurt. In fact, she'd been very much unhurt. The girl took a moment to peel one of the band aids off of her arms to look underneath it before replacing it back to where it was.
"I think what I've got already is good to go, though. I just got a few splinters. Do you have anything that needs to be bandaged up?" she gave him this long stare to accompany the inquiry. Honestly, it hadn't really bothered Tomoko that the ghost hadn't talked that much. She could talk for both of them! Well, not like rambling-talk, but she understood his body language well enough.
"If you're doing OK..." she took her own empty first aid kit and opened it, placing the band aids inside. "I'll save these for later in case someone else really needs them."
The kitsune took a moment to finish fishing through their find and pulled out another one of the small rolls of bandages. If they'd both been hurt it would have been enough for both of them to fix themselves up, at the very least. Well, fix up anything minor; they couldn't have turned themselves into Halloween-trick-or-treater mummies with them. They couldn't have turned ONE of them into one with the small amount.

Since Jove and Tomoko both seemed to be alright, and lucky them found clean bandages Sin turned back to the lockers. She forced one open only to have a noxious smell assault her. She coughed and quickly backpedaled wincing as she felt her ankle twist awkwardly under her. She frowned and stood still for a moment riding out the sharp jolt of pain and then looking back at Rosc and Alcie.
"That one locker is pre-" But then she heard a distant shout from the west wing. It sounded as though maybe someone had found something? Or were her ears just playing tricks on her?
"Should we go see what they found?" She paused as she caught sight of some open lockers with what looked like...explosives inside? Geeze didn't this school ever do contraband checks? She grabbed some and put them in her empty first aid kit. If she found a pack of gum in the supply closet Sin was definitely grabbing it, she was starved!

She had been minding her own business when her name echoed the halls, she wasn’t interested in meeting any new students, she had enough of gaining new friends with the outcome of Raziel and Colette, if they turned up dead somewhere she may give a double take but other than that they were meaningless.
Catching sight of a very interesting …well, half naked Seiji, Sarias smiled deeply at the boil and made her way over, finally stopping at his side, her eyes ablaze with his lack of attire.
“For me? You shouldn’t have?” She purred jokingly as one long clawed finger traced his bare shoulder avoiding the blood drips and mud. Completely oblivious to Junko she didn’t even bother introducing herself to the ghoul, it didn’t matter that she had already met on the boat, only important students were worthy to be remembered in Sarias mind.
“Find anything interesting yet?” She questioned facing only Seiji. If there was anything to report she wanted it from his lips.
“I doubt this place is little more than a death trap…hmm, ha-ha, well maybe for these fleshies at least…” The first mention of anyone being there other than Sarias & Seiji was accompanied by a quick glance towards the ghoul beside him. Looking her up and down a perfectly shaped eyebrow raised she gave a pitiful smile.
“Oh poor dear!” She bent slightly to align with Junko’s face, her features a mask of shock and worry. “You look d r e a d f u l…I mean honestly, look at you hair, uhhh its horrid! I mean…well, it looks better than it did on the boat, but sweetie, ever heard of a comb?...and soap?” Tutting as she shook her head she straightened up, once again ignoring Junko’s presence.
“Its so nice of you to lend a hand to the unfortunates, I didn’t know you did Scarity work.”
Any further response was covered by a wall of bugs, Sarias had hardly noticed the walls becoming black as she listened to the students reply, thousands of tiny legs caught her unawares. They flowed over her like a blanket, no where was sanctuary on her body as she screeched and slapped to get them off. For some reason Icky came to mind, which made her quickly blush…and then (mouth) vomited.
“Uhhh, I’ll be finding those for weeks!” She mumbled as she plucked one from her hair and elegantly crushed its life between her fingers.

The pup's little nose lifted as the pair of them were approached by a demon who was vaguely familiar... But she didn't smell like badly rotting things, or like nothing at all, which so far pointed to another student. Yes! She was in a class with him back at the academy, and she knew his name! He wagged his tail rather enthusiastically, and looking back farther in that direction he could see at least one other he sort of recognized. They were all having more luck getting into the lockers than he had been before their interruption...
Seiji would be so happy to hear about this! More students meant... a better chance of surviving together, right?
Jove turned back to hear Tomoko's exclamation, and his eyes widened. Now he got it! Why didn't he think of it before, using the fabric tape roll thingies to make hurts better? His tail wagged a couple times as he too realized what a useful find this was, even if the hooded figure hadn't given him the whatever-it-was it had, it did give them something good. Accidentally.
Jove's head tilted for a second at the direct stare he was getting from the little kitsune. He really wasn't sure, he had never had anything that needed bandaged up before. But perhaps... He touched his injured side once and showed Tomoko his bloody hand with the same head-tilt look, silently asking if that was the sort of thing that needed bandaging up. It would be nice if it would stop making a mess of his hands, the dark blood was getting all over him despite it being a relatively minor injury.
((Serves me right posting before I was completely awake, sorry about missing Sin's approach. XD;;; ))

Tomoko looked at Sin when she approached, ears perking up. "Ko-.." Errr... "Hello!" There! That was better! One thing Tomoko did try her best at was not falling back on her native tongue when she knew how to talk normally. Screaming death-threats-at-sharks nonwithstanding of that rule. "You think they did?" Tomoko's ears swivelled a bit to pick up the shout from the other wing of the school.
However, she soon looked at the hand Jove showed her and her expression changed almost immediately, her ears drooping down a bit. Ouuuu, that didn't look good at all! Tomoko opened the First Aid kit again and took out one of the things of bandages. "I think we should use these on you first. That doesn't look very convenient."
Not to say that she approved of the fact he was bleeding all over, but it'd likely be more comfortable for him if he wasn't. Jove didn't -seem- to be uncomfortable with his bleeding, but none the less, Tomoko unwrapped the bandaging before handing it to Jove.
"I..think if you just put it over the spot that's bleeding that'll do it."
Clearly Tomoko didn't know what she was doing either.

By the time Raziel had made his way back into room 102, West had taken it upon himself to investigate the noise coming from the lockers. He completely missed the repeat appearance of the strange reaper, and while he saw a couple of grungy-looking bugs skittering away from the east wing, he didn't have any way of knowing what was going on in that direction without heading that way, which he didn't do. What he did do was continue exploring the classrooms, shoving the door of room 104 open and looking around for something that might give him a clue as to what was going on.
