"Pi." Hayes' Pikachu waddled down to the bank of the stream and stopped just before the ground got soggy. While his species was often found in forests, several years living with a computer programmer had left him adapted to tile floors and coils of ethernet cables, not vines and soil. The electric mouse wrinkled his nose in distaste.

"Huh.." The blond Rocket brushed some hair out of his eyes and surveyed the tangled jumble of trees. The walk over uneven ground had left a patina of dust on his boots, and there was a streak of something here or there where he'd brushed against something.

There was another cry from high up - Darwin, circling as he tried to keep everyone in sight.

Well. Hayes shrugged and clambered up onto the tree bridge, wedging his boots carefully into the crevices between tree trunks and testing where his weight would hold. A moment later he felt little paws scramble over his back and a Pikachu-sized weight settle between his shoulders.

"Try keeping three points of contact," the blonde suggested in a friendly way as he passed Saleen, who was looking a little precarious.

Agent Panther didn't mind the hiking. He climbed the trees with practiced ease, vaulting them when necessary. Out doors was his element after all. A slow smile was sneaking on his face, despite the circumstances.

Shade on the other hand simply floated over the trees and logs. ground obstacles ment nothing to a ghost.

When they came to the water, he walked over to decide on the best way over, climbing up onto a tree, and then walking across, picking his way carefully. Shade hovered near by, but didn't pay his trainer much mind. Panther wasn't one to fall in the water.

Just as he was pondering attempting to make his way across the logs, Mau's Drifblim floated back across the stream towards him. Well, very well, he would wait for it to get out of his way and -

Ah!

As the balloon pokemon grasped his arms Frost couldn't repress a shocked intake of breath. Something grabbing him! This was not pleasant! Then another Drifblim grabbed his legs. This was really unpleasant. "This is not dignified!" Frost exclaimed in consternation, struggling in vain as he drifted across the stream. "Release my this instant you - !..." Calm. He couldn't make any more of a fool of himself than he already had. With an effort of will the blond stopped struggling and held his tongue. He was not happy. They were holding onto him. He did not like being held onto, and he was dirty, and there was oil in his hair. This was not a good day. Not a good day at all.

As the pair of pokemon set him down safely on the other side Frost scrambled to his feet, face completely blank. The stress of having been grasped was desperate to escape somehow, and for a few moments Frost found himself tapping the back of his left hand rapidly with the first two fingers of his right. He quickly recovered control of himself, however, and pulling his uniform straight, he turned to glower at the trainers of the Drifblim.

"In future," he said levelly, "kindly do not allow your pokemon to manhandle unasked me unless I have actually fallen off a precipice, or am otherwise in mortal peril. Do you understand?" Ugh. He wanted a shower. He wanted a shower now.

As a field agent Alexander was used to walking to the trek didn't faze him. Once they got to the 'bridge' how ever he eyed it in thought. While there were pokemon carrying people across he could make it over the bridge. "Alright boys, back into the balls for now." he told his pokemon and returned them. He did not was his Growlithe falling into the water and better safe then sorry for his Eevee. He stepped up to the 'bridge' and carefully made his way across it, slipping every so often only slightly. He was on the other side quickly though and let his pokemon back out.

Saleen proceeded across the log…a bit slower then the other’s. She wasn’t use to outdoor activity like this….she was doing pretty well…and was just about across when she hit a patch of water, and slipped. She let out a scream as she went falling, Esther attempted to catch her but all the umbreon managed to do was get dragged into the water with her. Oh the humility! She was so embarrassed! Not only was she now WET, but she just HAD to be the one to fall in!? She could just die from embarrassment!

Mau hadn't paid attention to what Nuu was doing, thinking she had gone back to scouting, being on guard for anything like she was supposed to have done. So when he heard the grunt scream, the agent turned back as a pair of drifblims set him down. "Nuu." His voice was chastising and the blue balloon faded away for a moment before coming back, cheeks puffed. She was doing GOOD and Mau was mad? The nerve of people. She snubbed Mau and drifted past him. Now Mau leveled his gaze on the unwilling grunt. "Though I apologize for my drifblim, I recommend not being so hasty to condemn the help." He narrowed his eyes slightly, but the expression soon passed. "Are you alright though?" He knew that Nuu was not always the gentlest, or most tactful pokemon.

Hearing a scream and a splash, Mau looked past Frost, unsure of who or what had fallen in.

The second Saleen's foot slipped, Arpeggio leapt to action, swimming over and carefully grabbing her by the collar once she was in the water. As soon as he had a good grip, he swam over to the opposite shore with her in tow, carefully nudging her up onto the bank. He didn't leave her side until she had her footing, only then slipping back into the water to catch anyone else in the event they fell.

"Hey, you okay over there!?"

As all the Rockets used their Pokémon in various ingenious ways to cross the creek Lore stood back and watched, still wearing his ever-present smirk, arms crossed.

Once most of them had crossed he nodded his approval and pulled another Poké Ball out. He tossed it toward the water. "C'mon out, Lucy."

There was a large explosion of light and with a tremendous splash, a gyarados landed in the water. Lore approached the violent fish and reached out to pat its side, "Mind helping me across, buddy?"

The gyarados roared (as gyarados are apt to do), then stretched out across the water, making a perfect bridge.

Why Lore hadn't just done this in the first place so everyone could walk across was a mystery.

Saleen felt a tug as she was pulled to the shore, and after hitting the ground, she began to cough a bit before she groaned and got to her feet. A little bit further down the shore, Esther was shaking herself dry before walking back to Saleen. The umbreon could swim well enough to get to shore on her own. Saleen rubbed her head, vaguely hearing Demyx ask if she was alright. “Yah…” she groaned, hiding her face from everyone. She really didn’t want to deal with the embarssment of falling in. Great…just great. Her braid had slipped from the loop, and now hung in a long braided ponytail. When Lore passed on his gyarados, Saleen kept her face hidden and avoided cursing. Why the hell didn’t he help them!? Oh well…didn’t matter now…oh why couldn’t she just go and hide in her room! She couldn’t show her face now!

Alright? Alright? He had been accosted! "I am... fine," Frost said to Mau after a few moments, still trying to get his uniform perfectly straight. It wasn't straight enough. He was scruffy, and dirty, and there was probably oil in his hair, and he had been grabbed and dragged around; in short, he was not happy... Oh, and somebody had fallen in. Letting out a long slow breath through his nose Frost turned to see which female had got herself into trouble. Ah, the long-haired girl. Seemed she was already being saved though, which was good; they couldn't afford to be a team member down...

Oh.

Well that was typical.

Frost watched silently as Lore walked across the massive serpent, and flicked an eyebrow as Skiron (who had still been on the other bank) trotted across after him. Presumably there was a reason behind the executive's actions... Well, that or he was just 'messing with them'. Hardly the time or the place for that so far as he was concerned, but Lore was the executive so who was he to question it?

So, after being farted across the way to the other side, Sorano withdrew his gassy Drifblim and sighed. At least that was over with. Never jumped down and watched in dismay as a coral colored hair woman tumbled to the waters beneath. Arceus be with her . . . at least it wasn't him! All the while, Sorano muffled a snicker. Ugh.

Hoping down to the other side, Panther joined those who used faster means to get across. He stopped to look at the water logged Saleen. "You should be more careful." she should have gone through the same training as everyone else.

He glanced around looking to see if everyone was across. He was ready to just find the Galactics and start the pounding.

Repo didn't really feel the need to apologize to the icy-demeanored man. He'd only been helping, and at least he'd not fallen in, right? Deine too seemed inclined to ignore his protests, and she fluttered higher up, getting a peek over the trees. Whatever she saw, she kept to herself. When they started to move again she let out a woosh of air, descending back to earth to trail silently alongside her trainer.

The trail seemed just as plain on this side of the river. Hopefully they weren't too far from their goal. Still, he couldn't hear any robotic sounds or crashing. Or bugs or birds either...

Hayes reached the other side with minimal complications (apart from a slime of wet lichen down one trouser leg) and clambered down, brushing off flecks of bark from his hands. His Pikachu leapt off his perch and watched the sodden Saleen get towed to shore with the air of a spectator at a ball game.

His trainer was a bit more merciful and offered the pink-haired grunt a hand and a rueful grin. "You all right?"

As soon as the rest of the Rockets had crossed, Demyx made his way over to the fallen logs. He didn't pause to attempt to get his footing, he just climbed right up and began making his was across. It was almost surprising to see him make it to the other side so easily, especially given that he didn't appear to be trying to be careful.

But the fact was, he'd grown up in a city where water washed onto the sidewalks fairly often. He knew how to move his feet to minimize the risk of slipping, and as he stepped down to the other side it was obvious that he'd done just that.

Arpeggio slipped out of the water and was at his trainer's side quickly, brilliant blue eyes gleaming with barely contained mischief. A hand on his head told him to contain it though, and he settled down by Demyx's side, glancing up at him curiously. This wasn't the pool or the base. So they must be on a mission... Right?
