°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø Tenderfoot took a know-it-all stance about her. To be completely frank, she wasn't one to find playing detective fun. She'd much rather be the jury. She giggled lightly at the Deputies' confusion, "Darling, you're the deputy, you get to know all the juicy info being murmur'd in Shiftstar's den first hand." Tenderfoot rose her rump in a large stretch which made her spine feel excellent.
[ "Shiftstar probably just wanted you there to try and give Tearyface some comfort." she said, still holding the matter of fact tone. Ever since Rainface thought Tenderfoot was trying to enchant Trouttail, the she-cats have been hostile ever since. Besides the fact that Rainface spawned more drama than Tenderfoot herself! Her eyes rolled lightly just at the thought.]
[Her whiskers twitched as she watched Ravenwing now try to be the detective. At least he looked attractive while doing it... She let out a small 'hmph' before she strode over to Freezetail's side, nuzzling the soft side of her cheek tenderly against his shoulder. "Your fur's so soft, Freezetail," she purred in a light, seductive tone.]ѻut ѻf ℂoconuts: Lmao, Tenderfoot and Ravenwing are having a battle of jealousy. XDD

[Hearing Shiftstar call for her and tell her to stay in the den, Rainface turned around and sat back down in front of the leader. After a few moments of silence, she was also asked to explain what had happened. Since Foxbeam never told her what had happened, she she didn't really trust Redfur's word, She decided her son wasn't lying when he said Redfur made him do it. Well, Sunstream had looked up to Redfur and only wanted his approval. But Redfur never gave him that.]"I asked Foxbeam, but she didn't tell me anything. But Sunstream did say Redfur told him to attack her. Sunstream always looked up to Redfur, and saw him as a hero. Even though he was just a lazy and nasty tom. I don't blame him for wanting his fathers approval. Redfur never gave him that. Sunstream spent his kithood learning, wanting to impress his father. Redfur never noticed that in him. Redfur only saw Sunstream as a kit. Redfur wasn't even that great of a father! If he could have, he would have killed the kits."[She said, remembering the days when Redfur was alive. Well, the last few days. All that came to mind was Abuse, neglect, hurt, pain, and snakes. The snakes.. Those creatures that were sent by the slayers all those moons ago.]

[Foxbeam nodded as her mother rushed off to find Shiftstar. As the gray she-cat padded away, Sunstream padded up. Narrowing her eyes, she hissed loudly and took a step back. Before he could say anything, she opened her mouth, ] "What? Planning on killing me again?" [She growled. As his mouth opened, she listened to him and her eyes opened in surprise.] Don't listen to him.. [She heard a little voice her head say, narrowing her eyes once more she let him speak on.] He's your brother. You're family, believe him. [Said another voice. He was family, they shouldn't be fighting. Taking a deep breath, she took a step towards him and smiled.] "I love you too, Sunstream. You're my brother, I shouldn't be turning against you." [Foxbeam meowed softly.]

[She said casually as she sat down at the entrance waiting to be invited in. She twitched her whiskers as her eyes shifted back to the strange scene that was going on back over by Rainface and her two children.]

The tom's voice made him feel sick. He knew that Ravenwing was referring to him when he said 'Grumpy Guts'. Freezeshadow opened his mouth, about to make a sharp comment to the black tom when he felt a body pressing up against his. His gaze shifted to Tenderfoot, her words didn't seem to make sense. Was she flirting with him? It was better off just Dragonfire being here, more quiet, that's for sure.] "Like you would care about how my day went. Nothing but listening to a flirt and wild horse play." [He muttered, feeling it uncomfortable now as Tenderfoot's cheek brushed his shoulder.] "You and Ravenwing could be a pair. Both trying to impress toms and she-cats just because it is in your character. What do you truly think you'll get out of this...."
[Freezeshadow trailed off as he heard Foxbeam's words of praise to her kill-crazy brother. Did she still trust him after what just happened? Now he faced Foxbeam, giving her a hard cold look.] "And you should be trying to avoid your brother right now. You may say those words now, but you will never know when you will regret it." [He meowed scornfully. To grow up and become who you really are" [Shiftstar flicked her tail to tell Dragonfire to come in. This was something that needed both her and the deputy's attention. She listened patiently to Rainface's end of the story. So far it was hardly reliable. She didn't know both sides of the story and the side that she did know could possibly be a lie.]
"Redfur is dead..." she thought aloud, "How could he..."
[Though nothing was impossible with what she had witnessed moons ago. She looked down at the ground and shook her head. If Redfur had somehow communicated with Sunstream, it didn't mean the warrior was innocent. Sunstream had the ability to ignore his dead father and make his own decision.]
"Thank you Rainface. You can go." she dismissed, "Please send Sunstream in."  To be nobody but yourself in a world

°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø Tenderfoot waved her tail at Dragonfire to say goodbye, not responding to her request for Tenderfoot to comfort Rainface. Like Tenderfoot would ever want to comfort someone that just sobs for attention. The only thing keeping her eyes from rolling was her persistent nuzzling of Freezeshadow. "Darling, your day matters to me as much as napping, which is very high on my list of importance." Okay, maybe she lied about his day being important.. But that was one of those white lies that made cats feel better, right?... Tenderfoot found herself pulling her cheek away from his shoulder as soon as he spoke about her and Ravenwing being a pair. She thought about it for a moment, that would certainly be a title to get the wandering-eye tom for a mate.. She thought for a moment, should she really give up all of the other toms she flirted with for one handsome tom?]
[The cheerleader in her head spoke up, 'The amazing, fantastical Tenderfoot shouldn't forget that Ravenwing has been ignoring her majesty! Her regalness isn't getting enough attention, either!' Tenderfoot weighed this into consideration, not bright enough to realize that Ravenwing was attempting to make her jealous. Regardless, a plan formed in her head. She let out a small, hurt whine before she snuggled right back up to Freezeshadow, not even thinking that Ravenwing and Sunstream would overhear, "Ravenwing doesn't care for me. Most toms don't, I'm just a pretty she-cat for kicks." she sniffled pitifully, was her Rainface act working? She didn't know, but she continued, "Everyone thinks that because I'm beautiful, charming and confident that I have no other feelings." She nuzzled him again, "All I've ever desired was to find...." she began getting emotional in her act, "an understanding tom to stand by me and make... me... smile!" Tenderfoot's voice rose as she ended her sob-story. The amazing Tenderfoot always had a way to turn the spotlight back to herself.]ѻut ѻf ℂoconuts: Lmao, Tenderfoot could be in a soap opera. XD

[He muttered, rememering hearing something of Ravenwing trying out his charms on Rainface who had lost so much lately. Now her kits were trying to kill eachother. What a mess.] "You choose to come to a tom who doesn't give one fish's tail about your problems. Are you truly that desperate for a mate. I ask you again, what do you truly gain from doing this if the other does not feel the same."[Freezeshadow finished, moving farther away from Tenderfoot and more closer to the medicine den. Now he wished he was on Silverstream's patrol. At least there, there would be no cats to flirt with him. Then again, he would just be surrounded by those energetic cats again. He let out a quiet sigh.] There is no true peace, in Seaclan. [Lostpaw shot into camp, his still soaking fur standing on end. His vision was spotted with black and the red tinge was growing, but he had to notify the warriors of what had happened! The first warriors he saw were Ravenwing, Freezeshadow, and Tenderfoot. Perfect! Just the warriors Lotuspaw had told him to get. He staggered up to the gathered cats, gasping for air. His lungs screamed and his legs ached, but he couldn't loose conscientiousness, not now! Lostpaw's heart thundered in his rib cage as he gather enough air to screech,] "HELP! Somebody, anybody! Help! Lotuspaw and Silverstream are being swept down river and drowning! They're going to die!"
[His screech was ear splitting and everyone in the camp would be able to hear him, maybe everyone in the territory could hear him with how loud he was. But they had to know! Lotuspaw and Silverstream were going to drown! He whipped his head around, panting.]
"HELP!!" [He wailed at the top of his lungs. The precious energy that Lostpaw had left was used up. His lungs burned and his legs ached, giving way beneath him. His vision was almost completely black by now. What he could see was blurred beyond recognition and he staggered to the side, collapsing. No! He couldn't go, not now! Lotuspaw needed him! 'Please, StarClan, let help reach them in time!' By now his vision was almost completely gone, panic rose in him and he gave one last blood curdling shriek as he lost conscientiousness. Falling as still and silent as death, except for the shallow rise and fall of his flanks, betraying that he still breathed. But for how long?]

°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø [As soon as Tenderfoot's plot backfired she rolled her eyes and removed herself from Freezeshadow's side, "And people call me daft." she let out a 'hmph' noise. Her tail flicked from side to side as her dim-witted arrogance blew her cover, "I'm really not interested in being mates with you. I already told you that I wanted a tom that could make me smile. Something you're not even capable of making yourself do. Besides, I'm really only trying to make someone envious." she stated matter-of-factly, her temper flaring.]
[The she cat was just about to continue when Lostpaw rushed in, screeching like a banshee about Lotuspaw and Silverstream. Tenderfoot's mind went serious for once and she whipped around, "Freezeshadow, you stay here, make sure nothing happens to the siblings, me and Ravenwing can handle this" she spat out before she charged through the camp, taking off at full speed, her tail streaming out behind her to keep her balance steady.

To grow up and become who you really are" [Shiftstar's attention changed from that of the current problem to a new one rapidly arising. She poked her head out into the clearing only to see the newly named Lostpaw yowling for help. His speech impediment wasn't noticeable in his cries for help. It truly must be a grave situation. He was a brave soul, to come back on his own after only a short while into the territory.
[Tenderfoot was already rushing out, telling Ravenwing to follow. The leader thought quickly. If Ravenwing were to follow, Tenderfoot would no doubt try to turn on her charms, as would Ravenwing. While Shiftstar doubted it would distract them from the problem at paw, she wanted to be sure. Padding out she started to instruct her warriors.]
"Ravenwing, I need you to stay here with Sunstream and Freezeshadow." he announced, "Freezetail, I wish you to go with Tenderfoot. Get Lotuspaw and Silverstream out of the river."
[Shiftstar thought herself quite clever. Tenderfoot and Freezetail were guaranteed not to lose focus. Just as Ravenwing and Freezeshadow. Slowly she padded to Lostpaw. Lowering her head she grabbed him by his scruff and padded into the medicine cat den. As the meeting at Moonpool was still underway, there was no cat to aid the injured. What a horrible time to choose to get injured. She lowered Lostpaw to one of the nests and padded out. What a day it was turning out to be. She sat in the middle of the clearing, awaiting the return of her warriors.]

[The warrior nodded her head, and walked out of the den and off to where Sunstream was being guarded. Did Shiftstar think differently then her? She wouldn't know. Once next to the den where Sunstream was being kept, she narrowed her eyes are the sight of Ravenwing and turned her attention to Freezeshadow. She refused to talk to the jet black tom.]"Shiftstar would like to see Sunstream."[She said calmly, hoping Ravenwing wouldn't randomly come into the conversation. Looking into the den, she saw Sunstream, who was laying down snoozing the day away.]"I-I, can I trust him?"[She thought, watching at her son with sorrow filled blue eyes. Suddenly, he woke up and rose to his paws.]"M-mom.."[He said, his voice echoed in the empty den. Rainface looked back into the den directly at her son.]"Go, Shiftstar wants to have a word with you."[She said softly, while Sunstream came out. Rainface nodded and padded off into the warriors den. The only two things that ran through her mind were Darkshadow and Redfur. Ever since he had came to her in a dream and told her he never loved her, Rainface hasn't talked to Darkshadow. Maybe now, maybe today, he would come to her.]"Hey Darkshadow? If you can hear me, can you please tell me.. What would you do in a situation like this?"[She asked mentally, before falling asleep.]
[Harmony gave me permission to post as Sunstream for today ^^ she's gonna be gone today.]

[Ravenwing saw Tenderfoot snuggle up to Freezeshadow from the corner of his eye, although he pretended he didn't hear anything. Which was quite hard, seeing that Sunstream did not answer his question and the she-cat was snuggling up to the tom he hated. Well, not hate, more like...dislike, that was a more appropriate word. His ears twitched when Tenderfoot dramatically complained about how he didn't care for her and how most toms didn't...huh, the sympathy act again. Too bad, that act wasn't going to work on Freezeshadow any time soon - and it seemed that Tenderfoot found out the hard way, after how Freezeshadow had plainly told to her face that he wasn't interested.]
[At that moment, Lostpaw appeared and was yowling something about Lotuspaw and Silverstream. Something in his mind clicked at the notion of a damsel in distress, and Ravenwing immediately sprang to his paws. "A she-cat in need? I'll be there in -" He was cut off when Shiftstar suddenly appeared and told him to stay in camp with Freezeshadow and Sunstream. Oh joy, way to ruin his fun. Ravenwing tried to put on an innocent, I-wasn't-going-to-try-anything face, but Shiftstar did not even look at him and padded away with Lostpaw.]
[Rainface started padding towards them but turned her full attention to Freezeshadow. Oh? Rainface didn't want to talk to him? He was confused, not that he had done anything to break her heart. Why, he had only talked to her a few times, and the last "heartfelt" talk had been more than nine moons ago! She-cats, so unpredictable sometimes. He mentally sighed to himself, an overly dramatic distraught and helpless expression on his face. "Well, Shiftstar is speaking to Sunstream so we're off guard duty, I'm heading out. Catch you later grumpy guts~" He said cheerily as he sauntered off, maybe going on a hunt or a swim.]

"Sunstream," she began calmly, "I have been told you attacked Foxbeam. A few thing are unclear though and I would like you to set them straight."
[A polite but serious face set in stone, Shiftstar sat and allowed her tail to take on it's own personality. It swayed back and forth with concern for the two possibly drowning in the river. She seemed distracted but she wouldn't let herself make mistakes because of it. If what Rainface had said was true and Redfur had indeed influenced Sunstream...the clan could be facing an unseen enemy.] To be nobody but yourself in a world
