Sepheran reeled his shot in again putting it back in place for another shot. Before taking it he turned his attention to Barth and Mandy. He wasn't quite sure if the other was talking to him, or just Mandy, or even to them both but he figured he should at least reply anyway.
"I'm Sepheran, and the snake on my shoulder is Liannan...forgive her for not showing much attention at this moment, she focusing on giving me the right directions for my shots..." Sepheran stated as he turned his attention back to the ocean lifting his gun, aiming, and firing once more.
Drat...the shot fell short...again

He watched as the shot went wide.
"I've got an idea," Barth said, as the hook snaked its way back to the boat. "...How many spare guns do we have, exactly?"

"Stupid. Piece of Jac-" a frustrated sigh.
"Im Mandy, nice to meet you Sephran and Liannan." she was pretty sure they hadn't properly introduced themselves yet, Barth and her obviously already knew each other.

Sharra had clambered up on deck in something of a panic....oh great, now West was attracting the attention of a giant squid? Something that he was oh so VERY sure that the other demon wanted...well, ok, probably not. Firing off, the nergal noticed that his aim was rather abysmally off...all right, time to calm the heartbeat down there a touch.
...what was Barth saying now? Green eyes swiveled that direction, and he listened, as he'd only caught the tail end of that question.

Sepheran began to reel in his last shot and gave a soft nod to them both, "Nice to meet you both as well," he replied before blinking. "Spare guns? I believe there were a couple more for other students who haven't arrived yet...why?" Sepheran asked curiously. "Thinking of trading yours in as well?" he continued knowing it had served him well when he did that at least.
Lifting his gun he aimed yet again, paused, and then shot.
The shot flicked, then fell to the sea below...maybe he'd have to change again, it felt like the guns were only good for a few shots.

This continous cycle of missing was really starting to piss Mandy off, they couldn't all be that bad a shot! Even the brief hope inpired by a newcomer was quickly squashed.
Jack aiming, it clearly wasn't helping.
Letting her frustration out in a yell she made a casting motion as though trying to fish for West and deployed the hook.
Only to fall surprisingly close. Apparently rage made your aim better.
Suitable considering the ships name.

"Good," Barth said. He didn't actually need an answer. He didn't fire this round, either, abandoning the railing for the pile of guns.
Instead he set up each of the guns along the railing, securing them to the boat.
The process was slow, but faster than individual shooting and reeling. And this way, now that they were set up, they'd only have to move along the assembly line. Pull, pull, pull, pull, pull. If none of them hit, they could reel them again.
"Feel free to start pulling," Barth said to the others, rope secured in his sharp teeth. He had been tired of standing, anyway.

Thinking along this line Mandy hauled herself back onto the correct side of the railing so she could put her full wait behind it and bottling up all her frustration at how long it was taking to pull in West and repeated her fishing motion.
THIS BETTER WORK OR DRASTIC ACTION WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.
No two ways about it in her head.
....it didn't work. And just in time for her to hear Barths idea.
That Sloth could be a genius in energy saving sometimes.

Huffing lightly Sepheran reeled it in once more...he'd give this grapple hook another shot. Aiming once more he shot praying with all he had that it would finally catch West this time...surely the other was going to drown soon...
Throwing his own to the beginning of the line Sepheran moved to a new one. "Great idea!" he admitted.

Though it did have it's downside, the aim seemed even shoddier if possible.
