Bellatrix had a feeling the sun was going to take its sweet time rising. After her exchange with Cora, and that weird voice talking about chains and them being broken or something, she couldn't help but clench to a feeling of foreboding.

"Y'know, they say curiosity killed the cat~" Was her initial reply to Themis before a shrug, "but it didn't stop the dog from sniffing its carcass." So that was probably as much of a yes as he was going to get. She sure as hell didn't want him going alone, and wasn't going to be the stick in the mud keeping him behind either. Besides. She did have a little curiosity at this point as well.

Braided pigtails swayed against the child's head as she turned from looking at Themis to Bellatrix again. Partner! Hypnos had a partner! Mister Birdy sat on her head, that was a partner right? Or maybe it was more like when she sat on Big Kitty? The child had to think about this. Ah ha! A real partnership: Hypnos sandwiched between Mister Birdy on her head with Big Kitty underneath her! She smiled thinking about this glorious thought, looking around as she hoped she'd see them -- however she didn't. In fact, she was a bit lost in thought. There were strange voices lingering around, and many people she didn't know. She couldn't help but finding herself waving happily to Cosmos, Castor, and Foramen as she noticed them from up on top of her trusty mount and protectee: Themis.

Expectedly, when the child heard the word rabbit, her head peered down at Themis, her own hair brushing into his hair as she tried to look at his face. It didn't work too well considering she was sitting on his shoulders, but she tried. Instead her bunny plush ended up dangling in front of his face. She guessed Thanatos wanted to say hello! She giggled a little and waved the bunny's stuffed paw before she pulled him back and spoke softly.

"I want to see a rabbit hole," she expected to find rabbits in this hole, surely ones that needed rescuing from said hole. Yes, that sounded right.

The archway led them down a hall where they could have walked fifteen shoulder to shoulder comfortably. There were doors here and there, great works of rich wood that had exquisite scenes and landscapes carved into them. But no matter how any of the senshi might have attacked or shoved at these doors, they would not open. The Temple was deceptive in its size; no one would have thought a place like this would have existed within such a small complex.

Even more proof of the magic inside of this place.

The hall led them, after only a short walk, to a set of giant doors at least twenty feet high and incredibly wide across. One of the braver senshi, impatient to move on and be out of this place, lifted her hand to the door and pushed with all of her strength. It swang open on well-oiled hinges and revealed yet another odd room.

It looked like something out of Camelot. A great round table was ringed with delicately wrought chairs, headed at the front by a three-step dais and a throne carved from a single chunk of wood. All the symbols of Earth were carved into it, depictions of Nature and its beauty littering every inch of the armrests and curved back. It was all so feminine and yet powerful at the same time.

“Welcome.” The voice said. “Welcome to the Council Chamber.”

Castor crossed his arms and pouted. "Or apparently vanishing walls will lead you to a scene from some cheesy B rated Holy Grail film." Looking at the throne Castor couldn't help it. "Five bucks it's either booby trapped, or we're waiting on somebody. Either way I'm not sitting in it."

He had to admit, he was mildly discouraged it wasn't a fight they had walked into, but he was a liar if he said this didn't interest him. "So we just pop a squat and start b***h about leaders again? That s**t's getting old. I just want to get down to business and kick some a**."

"Man castor have a little faith!" Lyra called out, walking towards the menshi as she too entered the room, to look around. "besides, its always a woman whom dies first in B rate movies.. so unless your hiding something, i think you will be fine." She said in good humor, trying to be her usual opomistic self.

She still was aching.. but she would pull through.

"This place is really damn pretty though." Might as well enjoy the scenery!

The other's senshi's attitude got a genuine laugh from the distant senshi of hail. "Aw, but the sexy hero tend to die trying to save her. Don't get into trouble Lyra~" He blew her a kiss.
"When I go out I want to do it like a ******** boss. And saving all the sexy ladies."

Foramen trailed Castor into the room. The lack of battle diappointed him. This setup was just going to cause more stupid arguments of who should sit on the throne, or at the table. Foramen couldn't have been the only one to realise there was no way all the senshi were going fit on this 'council', was he?

So not only were future arguments going to be about following the princess or not (and which princess, since that Ares was also supposed to be some form of royalty, or so rumour had it), but also over who would represent all the other senshi on this council.

"You sure know how to provoke people," he said to the roof, wondering if the mysterious voice could hear them. "Now there'll be bloodshed and it won't even be Nega blood."

He was also, scarily yet again, in agreement with Castor about the throne. Booby trapped, or at the very least, anyone who sat in it was going to be the target of a mob of angry senshi.

"So this is what, where we're meant to pick a war council?" he asked the room at large. "When we can't even agree if we should follow a princess or not?"

And then Castor had to go and be a stupid flirt again and Foramen wanted to kill himself for agreeing with the Senshi of Hail about ANYTHING.

MuCephei sighed a little frustrated at her fellows but trying to stay calm.
"Cosmos... you wouldn't happen to know who's place this was...do you?" She asked curiously. The themes were so earthy and natural, it fit the world they came from...and the table was round, so Arthurian.
"Haven't any of you noticed...it's a round table, it means there is no head...I'd say King Arthur, but it's so ... delicate, maybe Guinevere but..."
it was a stupid thought perhaps, but really, round tables and so old it seemed... "The throne is only one part of the room, a round table always means someone has their back to it... so they must have talked -at- it rather than down from -there- don't you think?" She glanced though it probably didn't matter.

All the symbols of the earth...that felt important.

He looked around the odd room that they had been lead to and sighed. None of this would help anything. It was already obvious that they didn't agree on who should be the leader and weren't about to do so any time soon. A council wouldn't get them anywhere but more fighting and given Ares' seeming conviction she was right maybe a bit of bloodshed.

He was regretting following the others down here. This wouldn't get them anywhere. He sighed and watched the others. At least they seemed to have the same idea.

Well, at least one senshi wasn't going to barrel for this table at all. Themis, after leading the way down, took a few steps and leaned against the wall, mindful of his little passenger. He really, really wished he had a way to take her home, and the worry was easy to see if anyone bothered to look.

Young children shouldn't be awakened, in his mind.

He took in the room, though, and all the symbol, with obvious interest. This really did feel like Earth's core, in a way.

Did his asteroid also have such a place ?

"War council? Pfft. More like, 'suck it up and stop p***y footing and fight.' That is about as much council we have going." Castor didn't know Foramen. But he made a note that whatever was around his waist looked like it had stars. Starry a**? Star butt? Then- "Still, got a point Pigtails. Can't pick a leader, doubt a war chamber would yield better result." He eyed the table. "I mean, where is the map? The little action figures? The flags." He sighed. "Could at least give us little flags."

Blue eyes rolled over to Mu. "I don't want to play King Arthur. Dude banged his sister and his wife banged his bro and his son shanked him or some s**t. Messy ******** business. But-" He pulled out a chair and offered it to the other senshi. "Want to try it out?"

Him? Male? Their teammate was a boy? Not that she had anything against the opposite sex, Metis was just flabbergasted after being so used to ********* always refer to the Asteroid Senshi as her girls. It wasn't much of a stretch for her to assume they would all be as much, especially since there was a far larger amount of female senshi than male. Glancing around and seeing such figures predominantly in her vision told her as much.

That wasn't the part she was so unnerved by, though. She could deal with the fact he was a he, but her arms crossed uncomfortably across her chest at the news that he... killed someone. Needless to say, she wasn't too fond of recalling the time another of their team did a similar deed. Though it was under very different circumstances, by the sounds of it. She wanted to try and argue - perhaps he didn't understand it wasn't a dream? - but could see every way that would blow up in her face. "He'll hopefully come to realize soon, going solo doesn't always work out in a senshi's favor," was all she said on the subject after a moment, shaking her head. It was stressed all the time how their enemies were typically stronger than them, that the senshi had to use teamwork and their numbers to their advantage.

Perhaps Iris could also beat some sense into this young man's head. Not that Metis would ever admit to thinking such a thing, but still.

Her thoughts were too caught up in this news to pay much attention to the conversations around them, even as she was lead off again by her teammate back into it. Not that the disembodied voice didn't get her attention again, frowning even deeper at the chain comment. One bit of bad news after another. Oh dear. When Iris came back to her side though, Metis inclined her head slightly towards the taller girl, looking at the gaping hall steadily. The squeeze did not go unnoticed, prompting her to evaluate a bit harder what she was looking at. She didn't see anything dark brewing in there, no black waves to greet her. Only copper and silver bouncing off of it, illuminating the way. "I see nothing to say we shouldn't," she responded somewhat cheerfully, giving a quick nod to enforce there wasn't anything there - least not yet - to make her hesitate.

So onward she went, into the chamber and off towards one of the walls, lifting her hand once to Iris' on her shoulder to silently ask her to follow. She had no intention of trying to get in anyone's way, much as she wanted to go take a closer peek at the round table. The book worm in her saw that shape, the layout, and was thrilled. The senshi however was curious, yet confused. Something seemed off about the place to her... what was so special about it?

Foramen considered getting irritated over Castor's nickname, but eventually shrugged. It could have been far worse. It was actually rather tame of Castor, Foramen thought. Though the lack of flirting was a good sign that Castor wasn't one of the people who mistook Foramen for a low-voiced female (thank all the gods).

"Maybe it's not a war chamber," Foramen mused aloud, as Castor pointed out all the things missing that would be used for war. He eyed the throne that none of them were game to touch so far. "Maybe this is someone's throne room. Helios, maybe?"

Why a priest would need a throne was beyond him. But any other ruler, like the missing prince of earth, Endymion, would have had their own castle somewhere. He wouldn't have needed a throne here in a temple. Would he?

Wandering the room, Foramen peered at all the symbols cared into the throne. "Does anyone recognise any of the symbols in this room? Do they match up with any existing senshi?"
PostPosted: Thu Mar 03, 2011 5:58 pm

"They did fight before right? I mean, we did .. however that works." he shook his head slightly. "If the Senshi have fought meta-whatever before and were aligned with the Earth it would make sense that they would have somewhere safe that they could meet to discuss what was going on."

He hadn't heard a damn thing about what the Senshi had done in their past lives but he had read enough fantasy books to know how things worked. This looked like some sort of secret meeting chamber. The throne still bugged him though. What was the point if you were going to do the whole round table thing and make everyone equal?

Foramen at least had a good idea and he stepped closer to the table to see if he could see anything he recognized.

Hugbell was walking with Polaris who she was trying to not so incidentally pull closer to Cosmos. The child was curious and wanted to make sure the other senshi was okay.

"Oh wow. It's so pretty like out of a fairy tale." She gawked in awe at the council chamber room. Of course Hugbell would find it pretty, out of all the things to find pretty. She looked around and noticed she knew Themis too, Castor was busy, he seemed pretty popular among the senshi. At least in Hugbell's opinion, everyone knew him.

Her head tilted at MuCephei though, butter yellow eyes looking curiously at her. "I wonder where the ones that sit at the table are." She mused turning back to Polaris wondering if she had the answer to that as well.
