Riyo immediately shot her father a dirty look as Klyde was called 'Clark', though Jess apparently missed it.

When Blade was figuratively tossed to the wolves, the two felines turned to look in his direction... Though Klyde's aversion did not go unnoticed... By Jess at least.

"Yeah Blake." Jess started, the different names were probably a sign of things to come. "How long have you known my daughter?"

"Longer than you.." Riyo mumbled, glancing away as Jess looked at her.

Luckily, the tension was... Interrupted (not broken) by their waiter.

"How may I serve you... Fine people tonight?" The just as young man faltered at the appearance of these 'commoners' in their restaurant. They ran a fine establishment, which generally kept away the filth by raising the prices to the roof... Yet here they were. Though, he was good at hiding his disgust... Even if the thought of not receiving a tip from these urchins bothered him.

"I'd like the filet mignon. Make it rare... With a coke please." Riyo ordered in a quiet tone, folding her menu and setting it on the side of the table when she was finished.

Scribbling down a couple of words, alarms going off at the expensive items they were ordering, he looked to Jess next. "And you, sir?"

"Ah yes." Lifting up his menu in a dainty manner while he used his free hand to stroke his goatee thoughtfully, the vocalist set up straight in an almost mocking manner. "I desire a cut of your finest T-bone steak as rare as it gets, my good man... And a cup of your most expensive wine." He requested in a sophisticated tone, holding his nose up high and setting the menu on Riyo's.

The waiter's eyes narrowed at the request. "You do realize our 'most expensive' wine is over $100, correct?"

"But of course!" Jess exclaimed, looking offended. "Only the finest for these lips."

With a short grumble, the waiter scribbled down Jess's order and glanced over at Blade and Klyde expectantly.

Pulling the knives out of the man's backside, Shun pushed him away before turning back towards the others. There were no differences in his expression as he left the one man to bleed out on the asphalt.

"Mitsu get away from here. Don't worry about me," he shot back towards the girl, wanting her to be far from the danger zone. When he looked back, he saw the lead with a handgun now, and he had nearly been shot. Narrowing his eyes, he rushed straight for the man, slashing out at his throat with a scissor-like motion with the two blades.

---

Frowning as Klyde decided to put him on the spot, Blade furrowed his brow while turning his attention to Jess.

"... It's Blade," he corrected, though the guy wasn't too far off with his name at least, "And just since the beginning of the schoolyear. She just transfered in and all."

He couldn't help but feel he was under the scrutiny of the vocalist, and he didn't really care for that feeling at all. It seemed to double up as the waiter came along with a rather snooty attitude.

"I'll take a T-bone as well.... medium rare.. and a coke," he said. While he had been considering the filet, he decided he was hungrier than to eat a tiny little steak.

In his hands under the table, he was fussing around with the wallet he had snagged. He was tempted to check its contents now, but he wouldn't do that while the waiter was still here. At least it seemed that the guy he took it from was no longer in the restaurant.

Oh boy, so he was going to get both their names wrong and it was a little obvious it was on purpose at this point. Sinking down in his chair a little, Klyde let all manner of etiquette escape him as he stared at his place setting letting the words of conversation wash over him. For now he thought himself safe as the conversation had shifted toward Blade and then to the waiter as he arrived to take their order. He just hoped the waiter didn't recognize him. He couldn't remember all the people he had come in contact with but he had only been here two days.

When it seemed the waiter's expectant gaze fell on him, Klyde looked up toward him, displeasure written all over his features. He knew what they had and what they didn't...mostly. They did cater to vampires and their particular tastes but what they carried was pricey and as always the best. When in view of other customers though, they would bring the drink out in a wine glass hoping to pass it off as just another alcoholic drink so as not to offend the other patrons.

Klyde hadn't really wanted to order anything, but the thought of wasting Jess' money was too good to pass up, not to mention this waiter was a bit of a prude. "I'll have a glass of True Royal." It was the finest blood said to be mixed with the blood of royalty. Fancy brand with a fancy price tag attached.

----

Looking to Shun in her dazed state Mitsu couldn't make out a word he was saying. Her ears were still ringing up a storm and her legs refused to move. "S..Shun?" What should she do?

With a growl, the leader re-aimed his gun again but didn't have enough time to fire as Shun was ready to take his head off. Dodging under the attack the man felt the blades graze through the top of his hair as he came back around trying to re-aim the gun once again to get a shot in. The other two remaining members started to circle Shun, waiting for an opportunity to pounce but didn't want to get caught in the crossfire.

The waiter's brow furrowed as he took down Blade's order... But Klyde's seemed to downright upset him. Not even most of their upper class guests dared to order such an expensive meal... And having to pour blood into a wine glass always made him queasy.

Wait. Did that vampire look familiar? Lingering on Klyde's face longer than he probably should've, "Alright then... We'll be out with your orders... Momentarily." After they talked to the manager, that is.

"Chop chop sparky." Jess clapped his hands as he spoke down to the 'well to do' waiter who had just turned around, twitching at the order from somebody who was obviously beneath him.

"What did you order, Klyde?" Riyo asked with a smile, curious to the name. It sounded like a bottle of wine, yet they hadn't carded him... So it couldn't be.

While Jess had contemplated picking on the vampire who called himself 'Riyo's boyfriend' (ignore the fact that she called him that too), he didn't want to get off-track with Blak- er, Blade.

"Just transferred in, huh?" His mind didn't seem to click the fact that it might've been Riyo and not her mother, though at that point it didn't matter anyways. Sitting his elbows up on the table and resting his head in his hands, a smirk formed on the singer's lips. "Do you think my daughter is pretty?" He asked an obviously trick question, raising an eyebrow as he waited for the answer.

Shun didn't have a chance to glance to see if Mitsu had run off since he needed to keep his eyes on the guy with the gun. Narrowing his eyes, he kept pressing forward. It was risky to have to get this close and upfront when the guy could easily shoot him, but there wasn't much else he could do here. That didn't bother him all too much though.

Shifting his weight as he ducked down to prepare for an attack, he gritted his teeth as he felt the hot bullet graze over his shoulder. Pushing off the ground, he launched himself back up to try and slash him across the chest.

---

Nodding to Jess, Blade's eyes diverted towards towards the waiter who seemed to be staring at Klyde for a moment or so. Looking back to Riyo's father, he paused as the question was thrown out there. He had a feeling this was a trap, but there was no real reason for him to lie about something like this.

"Yes," he said softly with a nod, worried that if he elaborated he'd end up giving the wrong idea. Though most likely he would do that anyway here.

The leader let out a yell as Shun slashed his chest clean open, dropping the gun in his hand in favor of pressing it to his gaping wound.

"Boss!" His comrades were quick at his sides to block any further attacks as their leader stumbled back, blood running down his front staining his shirt.

"L...let's get out of here." He groaned before taking off not waiting to see if Shun would retaliate further. Looked like they were beaten yet again and were ready to run off with their tails tucked between their legs.

Mitsu stood in a wide eyed manner watching Shun engage the man with the gun. She had barely heard the second round and wasn't sure if Shun had been hit with all the action going on. When Shun had managed to counter attack and drive the man and his cohorts back, Mitsu sighed a little relieved, despite how stressful that had been.

When the men were well out of sight, Mitsu managed to make her legs move a little. "Shun?" Her ears were still ringing so if he spoke she really couldn't hear him, but her eyes quickly settled on his shoulder which looked a little ....wet? "Shun, you're hurt!" Mitsu made her legs move a little faster until she was right next to the assassin, her hands gingerly touching his arm as she tried to inspect the damage.

---

Klyde smirked shortly seeing the reaction from the waiter though it was rather short lived. It was at least satisfying to know he was getting on someone else's nerves. Turning to Riyo Klyde gave a bit of a shrug. "Blood, they actually serve it here. It's supposed to have the blood of Royalty or something ridiculous like that in it."

Immediately Klyde's eyes diverted to Jess hearing his question to Blade and then to Blade himself. Focusing back on his silverware, Klyde eyed the fork and knife with interest, his right eye twitching a little in his frustration. He wasn't jealous, Blade was just her friend. He didn't mean anything by it he was just.....oh who the hell was Klyde kidding? He was well beyond ******** jealous and wanted to stab the b*****d in the eye with the fork in front of him. But with a deep breath he managed to maintain his cool....for now anyway.

From the back came an overly well dressed fat man, his tailored suit doing an okay job of hiding the bulk or rolls around his middle. He walked with an air of sophistication and snootiness that seemed far too common in the world of wealth. With surprisingly light steps he came up to the group's table looking down his nose at their 'guests.'

"Good evening lady and gentleman. I have been made aware or some...concerns with my staff. This is a fine establishment and we don't normally cater to....." What was a nice word? "Ones such as yourselves. So the method of payment has been brought into question." His small beady eyes scanned the table shortly but mostly focused on Jess since he seemed to be the oldest of the group. The adult.

When the manager arrived Klyde hunkered down in his chair trying to be as invisible as possible. He wasn't really looking forward to more of a confrontation.

Riyo had been about to ask if the blood of royalty tasted different from anyone else's... But her father's continued pestering of Blade didn't escape her attention. "Leave him alone." Riyo immediately demanded. "I don't have that many friends, so I'd prefer you didn't chase them away."

Jess looked rather disappointed when his daughter scolded him over having fun with the kid... But it looked like his fun was just beginning.

Leaning over closer to the manager, Jess's eyes narrowed, his hands clasping together on the table. "'Ones', you say? My good man, are you saying you discriminate against people with a certain appearance? Trying to kindly put that we look too poor for your overpriced s**t, sir?"

Sighing with a shrug, Jess placed his hands on the table to scoot back. "What a shame." Without another word, Jess reached into his back pocket, yanking out an equally poor looking wallet... That just happened to have a couple of thousands folded up in it's ripped leather bindings. "I guess I'll have to take this gross amount of cash to the establishment of somebody who's not a complete d**k."

Sneering at the group as they made their retreat, Shun let out a breath and gritted his teeth from the new pain in his shoulder. He might not have taken a direct hit, but that didn't stop it from hurting considerably. Glancing down at his bloodied blades, he made a mental note to clean them up later on.

Turning towards Mitsu now, his expression softened once more, though she cut off any attempts he had to speak as she got worried about his injury. The assassin's fingers twitched as she touched the area around it. The wound was about and inch or two long, but rather shallow as the bullet had just grazed him.

"I'll be fine," he said softly, "You're not hurt at all are you..?"

----

To Blade's relief, Riyo had called off her dad. The mini interrogation only strengthened his feeling that he didn't belong here. And the a** of a waiter was annoying to have around too.

However, his eyes soon widened as he saw Jess's wallet. The guy was loaded! The one he had snagged didn't even feel at least half as thick as the one the rock star had.

"You probably shouldn't carry that much with you... never know when someone will end up snatching it," he pointed out.

Mitsu couldn't hear a word Shun was saying, all that she heard was the continuing ring in her ears. With a frown she looked at the gash through his clothes.

"You're bleeding, we should really get it looked at." She was speaking a bit louder since she couldn't even hear herself, how strange that was. It made her wonder when the ringing would stop.

"Should we go to the hospital?" Mitsu asked finally looking up toward Shun's face, worry in her eyes.

---

The manager looked at Jess in an unimpressed fashion at first. "Why...yes, that's exactly what I'm saying, Sir." No need to beat around the bush. That was....until Jess flashed the cash. The manager's eyes widened and there was a certain glint in those beady black eyes. He was obviously a greedy man.

"M...my deepest apologies, Sir." He gave a bow, at least as much of a bow as his fat body would allow. "Please, forgive my rudeness and allow me to make it up to you. I would hate to lose the patronage," He really meant money, "of a fine upstanding gentleman such as yourself." Funny how his attitude could change so quickly with a bit of the green.

Klyde rolled his eyes at the manager, folding his arms across his chest. The man obviously irritated him but he didn't say a word. He really didn't want to draw attention to himself. Looking to Blade as he made his comment about Jess, Klyde raised a brow. "Are we talking from experience or something else?" He asked curiously.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 17, 2011 12:39 pm

That's exactly what Jess thought. Fatty was a man who liked his money and liked it real green. "Yeah, I'll bet." Jess mumbled and shooed the manager off with a swish of his hand, glancing at his wallet before placing it back in the pocket he'd taken it out of.

Though, Blade's comment made him turn and look at the young man. "Hm." Seemed to be his only response as he tilted his head, red eyes examining the thief's face. "Funny story. Somebody actually tried once." Jess leaned in closer to Blade, the small smile on his face turning into a devious grin, eyes full of the same malice that Riyo often had in hers. "I got that little ******** pinkie finger in a jar on my tour bus."

Riyo couldn't help but glare at the fatass manager as he talked down to all four of them, even moreso as his attitude changed a the tip of a... Wallet.

"a*****e." Riyo mumbled, her arms folding just like Klyde's.

Furrowing his brow as Mitsu started to talk louder, not to mention that she seemed to have dismissed what he said, Shun shook his head and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"I'll be fine. This is just a scratch compared to what I've experienced before," he said to her in an attempt to reassure. It stung like hell, but it wouldn't take much to clean it up and whatnot. He didn't want to go to a hospital just for that.

---

Blade couldn't help but frown at the waiter who had done a complete 180 at the sight of the money. Turning towards Klyde, he shook his head slowly.

"Hasn't happened to me, but I've seen it happen," he said. It wasn't necessarily false. The thief just left out one crucial fact in that. Then, turning towards Jess, he raised an eyebrow at that devious look he had taken. Something told him he wasn't joking about that, and while the thought of it made his fingers twitched, he was tempted to take that as a challenge. It almost sounded like a challenge.

Maybe he could try later... but give it back or something....

"Style beeline? What does that mean? This was a match come bear....Shun you're not making any sense." Mitsu frowned before she finally realized part of the problem. Reaching up she pulled the earplugs out of her ears, the sound coming back all at once. The ringing hadn't stopped but there was a certain sense of clarity now that her ears weren't blocked.

"I...guess the earplugs work..." She said sheepishly putting them away. "But we need to tend to your wound." Mitsu tried to sound stern on that fact as she looked up at the assassin, though her eyes darted down the road where the thugs had retreated, though none were insight any longer. "I would wrap it for you but I don't have anything with me..." Then an idea struck her. "There's a pharmacy down the street I think.."

---

The manager smiled nervously as Jess waved him off. "I would, let me get your party some appetizers on the house. What would you all like to.....have." His gaze had moved around the table as it had before but his eyes seemed to finally take in the familiar face among them. Letting out an almost startled sound he looked at Klyde like he was a man bearing the plague. "Kl....Klyde?"

"Here we go..." Klyde groaned softly as he looked away.

"Klyde...w..what are you doing here?" He asked between gritted teeth, not sure if him yelling at the boy would upset the adult with all the money. "I thought I had made myself clear about you and....here."

"It's a tragic thing that I don't often listen. Will you shove off or something?"

Riyo's brow furrowed as the fat, disgusting man looked at Klyde like he was some kind of festering disease. What the hell had he done to piss this guy off? And why did the man care? Klyde was loaded like her father. Riyo figured he'd bend over backwards for the vampire.

Scooting closer to her significant other, Riyo's eyes became defensive. It was like everybody was against the two of them being together... And it really grated on what little patience she had.

"Why the hell do you care?" She asked the manager. "He's adding to the bill so you're only making more money by him being here."

Jess, being mean-spirited towards Klyde for obvious and petty reasons, smiled as a little conflict was brought to his attention. "Just what did this gentleman do to you?" He asked, gesturing at the vampire and temporarily forgetting about tormenting Blade.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 18, 2011 7:14 pm

Furrowing his brow, Shun was just about to come to the same conclusion, but Mitsu had beaten him to the punch. Hopefully she could hear him better now without the earplugs in place. At least she wasn't trying to get him to go to the hospital now.

"That'd be fine," he said softly, "It doesn't need a whole lot of tending."

--

Rather glad that the heat was being focused on Klyde for the time being, Blade let out a breath and stared at the manager who seemed to be not too happy with the vampire at all. Now he was curious as to what happened in this restaurant. Did the guy try to pounce on another customer here at some point?

"It looks really bad though," At least Mitsu could hear him now. "Do you want to walk? Will you be alright or should we take the bike?" It didn't seem like all that better of an alternative if Shun got lightheaded. Crashing on a bike wasn't quite like crashing in a car.

---

With a sigh Klyde decided to jump the gun and butt in with a half a** explanation before the manager decided to blow everything out of the water. "There might have been a minor...disagreement." He started trying to weigh how fitting that sounded.

"Disagreement? Disagreement?! You threw a customer's food in their lap shortly before you became violent." The manager scoffed a bit, the whole situation had been a nightmare. In all his years he had never dealt with anything quite like it.

"He called me a brainless leech. He got what he deserved." Klyde protested, his face contorting with anger.

"And then you proceeded to try and stab him in the temple with his own eating utensil." The manager continued looking aggravated.

"I would have had to have been paid to bite the b*****d," Klyde growled crossing his arms all the tighter looking like a defiant child.
