It was. =) Ooo guys also remember that you may or may not be able to move up in one of your factions at this point as well.... it depends on your guilds and what not but check out the faction advancement guide to see if you get to move up in a faction!

I thought Vintage was a Misc faction quest not one of the main factions?

We can't move up a faction.
Vintage was a misc quest.
You can only move up a faction if you complete a faction quest.

Noo..... I don't believe that is accurate.... that is how it used to be and I wasn't aware that it has changed?
The old rule was that if it was a faction quest then you moved up in a faction quest, but if its a misc quest then you choose one faction to move up in.
Where does it say otherwise?

"Assignments are faction-based adventures characters must accomplish in order to achieve rank. They are jobs done in the name of their chosen faction(s). Players can complete Quests or Duets while furthering the goals of a faction or achieving its objectives, and in doing so, they complete the Assignments and can be promoted. Some ranks require a character to complete multiple Assignments in order to promote. If it helps to think of it as such, you can consider each Assignment as requiring 2 "promotion points."

Considering I helped Brax come up with most of the advancement guides, I guess I am just better informed.

It's a player made faction as far as I know.
I don't know a lot about it, I wasn't in the guild when it was made.
Well when Brax changed the rules, with Jaydine and Joker's blessing. We both agreed that factions will only advance their members in faction quests related to that faction. After all, how does the brotherhood or the mages guild know our characters when into a fort full of vampires to collect bottles, plus these actions DO NOT benefit the guilds or factions. Hence only faction quests increase faction rank.

Apparently some changes were made that Joker and I didn't voice in on.... one of them being that small detail about misc quests. Obviously the reasoning behind misc not counting towards faction rank up makes sense but Joker is just as confused as I am about the change. It was never an official change, perhaps because it may have not officially been stated any particular place the way ranking up worked.... either that and/or Brax just used her judgement when she updated things. (Which is perfectly fine)
It is very likely that after the crew has our meeting that things will stay the way she put them, and I would like to APOLOGIZE for mis-representing facts.

In Brax's defense.
She told me that you and Joker agreed to let her implement a system for advancement.
It was also months ago that she posted all these advancements in the information thread. So It's taken you and Joker this long to actually read the changes?
It was an official change because it was annouced with all the other changes in a guild annoucement that Brax made. Months ago. I guess she assumed you both would read what she posted. If I am honest, if it were me, I would also have expected my peers to read it.
But yeah no harm done I guess.
Change of subject, what is the unaffliated guild and when are you guys going to post descriptions on the player made factions?
