Crap! Junko had forgotten to write notes! Junko gasped and stared at Professor Savage, looking almost at a loss. Let's see...fish...monster, monkey, right? Yes! That had to be it. She grabbed her snake pen and did her best to scribble down her best attempts at drawing these things.

...She may have taken artistic liberties.

Rosc's head tilted up ever so slightly when Prof. Savage told them to put their notes up, that they were going to take a pop quiz. And then she explained what it was they were supposed to do.

"Jack dammit," he muttered under his breath and turned off his recording device. He took a writing utensil out of his bag before he took a slow, deep breath as his concentration focused on the paper. It hurt like hell, but at least he could tell contrast on the paper, could see what needed filling in, but it took more concentration than usual, whatever color the professor had used must have been light. He had half a mind to ask her if she could use darker colors in the future.

He quickly drew out the stages and turned his vision off completely for a rest, sliding the paper to the edge of the desk and set his head down on folded arms. He had briefly thought about adding some labels, the sea monkey thing, at least in his mind, still had gills and such, but that would take more time. And his head hurt enough as it was.
A drink would be a really good thing right about then.

Colette fidgeted uncomfortably in her seat. This professor seemed to have a pretty short temper, that or she just liked handing out detentions. Either way, the Reaper did not want to get on Professor Savage's bad side. Detention wasn't a fun experience. Just one more reason to stress doing well in the class..

Flipping her notes over and placing them on the floor, she focused on the paper Professor Savage had placed in front of her. The quiz wasn't too hard, Colette had just taken notes, but the last part gave her some difficulty on top of the fact she can't draw very well. Something about monsters, definitely.. and sea monkeys.. but which goes first?

She placed one answer down and thought for a moment on what a sea monkey looked like exactly. Hm.. what is a sea monkey? A monkey of the sea.. I suppose that's simple enough. Some sort of fish monkey..

There! Done! Colette looked at her quiz and tried to get a feel for if it was similar to what she remembered seeing, but she couldn't exactly recall. Oh, Jack! And she almost forgot her name! Colette scribbled it out in the corner. Now she was done.

Merope was distressed. Hearing that he could potentially become a human AND get detention AND have a pop quiz was almost too much for the boil, who was well on his way to having a miniature mental breakdown. He stared at the paper and shook, trying to formulate his answers. Oh man, oh man, oh man! He only could remember one stage. Him. Him turning into a human. He really really REALLY hoped that Professor Savage could help him. Maybe Nurse Cricket could, too? There had to be a way to stop evolution! Wait, was he like a minipet? Maybe. He didn't know. All he knew was that he was in deep poop if it was true.

He couldn't help but to glance at all the papers around him. All those doodles were looking distressingly like him...

Merope glanced up at the clock. Oh man! He had only a couple minutes left?! Merope scribbled down random things after making a picture of himself. He really, really hoped that he could get help. He didn't want to turn into a human!

Sammy thought long and hard for a moment how to go about this. A tiny blob that became a sea thing, that became a human. She couldn't help but stare at a tiny little piece of fuz on her table wondering how that would evolve into something as big as her.

For a long time she contemplated this, it didn't really make sense at all to her. For what ever reason it seemed evolution and creation had never been taught to Sammy, she simply was as she was when she woke up in Halloween town.

When she finally looked up she realized the time and quickly started to doodle down her thoughts on a man, clearly they became fish, and the fish just became human right? Fins become arms, and tails become legs! IT WAS LOGICAL!

Also outside of signing her name; her handwriting sucked it would seem.

"PENCILS AND PENS DOWN SNOTS!" Savage slammed her book shut again and smiled her not so pleasant smile at the class. Oh hopefully for the classes sake they had all filled out their quizzes. Almost to quickly, Savage had gotten up and scurried about the class collecting the quizzes form the students. Finished or not.

The professor thumbed through the quizzes to see who had even bothered to turn one in. There were filled out quizzes from Cyrilla, Ziyah, LW, Riley, Myr , Junko, Whisper, Rosc, Colette, Aksaja, Merope, Sammy and lastly Alessa. Thirteen out of eighteen students filling out their quizzes. Not to bad. Savage kept her creepy sharp toothed grin as she looked through the name blank quizzes.

"Gabrian, Malodore, Sin, Ren and Sharra you may excuse your selves for the rest of this period and go spend your time else where. Not bother to fill out my quiz? Pah! Come back to next class with more ambition next time. As for the rest of you..." Savage disappeared behind her desk and reappeared with a jar full of green stuff. "A little something I like to call home work!"



"You will each take GOOD care of these and return in a week to my office once its matured for a grade." Savage crossed her arms.

"Oh and .. Merope. Remember to stay behind dear. I'd like a word with you in private," That haunting grin for some reason would just not go away.

Wait wait wait. Aksaja stared at the jar of little green things, looking faintly horrified. Based on what they'd learned today . . . were those things actually going to turn into humans? Or . . . mini-humans? How WEIRD.

Hmn. Well, maybe if they did, he'd have something to 'study' or whatever so he could see how humans normally behaved.
