Yuki's eyes widened, turning to Sin and letting out a tiny gasp. He approached male, nosing his arm roughly. "Are you okay?" He questioned, eyes full of worry and slight fright. Sin paw at him, managing to slid the nose off his arm before nodding.
"Yes. Lamia was an excellent partner." He said, waiting when Yuki seemed to tense. Of course, the boy was upset that Sin had found someone else to be himself to, someone not him. Did he not think it would happen sometime? Well, Sin hadn't, but Sin couldn't always be there. He couldn't always be watching Yuki and Ixen, helping them with their kits. One day, he'd need his own life.
"Though, she is fairly fast. Actually, perhaps you could catch her." Ah, Yuki had been trained in speed by him, and even before Yuki had a natural speed to him. His family were runners, however Sin and Shai had acquired brute force. Yuki was lean and had the perfect legs for running quickly. Now, he had bracelets to ram into peoples sides, something Sin had recommended to the slightly weaker boy.
"Maybe, if she is up for it."

Lamia's eyes traveled from one male to the other, then flickered back between them. She was pretty sure this would be something of a game to the both of them, in the broadest sense of the word. Yuki would be attempting to establish some sort of dominance over her, doubtless, by trying to prove his speed and strength were more than hers. Sin would be getting enjoyment out of watching his personally trained brother and his killer mate display their skills.
Her tail flexed beside her. Power games were something she had learned at the side of her milk nurse (she never was sure if that was her birth mother or not), for it was part of the daily life in the tribe. Everything was a power game, to some extent. Oh, there could always be a light-hearted notion behind it all, but boiled down to the bare truth it was the nature of living creatures to prove just how much stronger, faster, agile, or cunning they were to others.
"Hmmmm, I suppose I don't mind," Lamia said, standing and stretching. After all, she actually enjoyed power games. It would be interesting to see if Yuki could match her speed, let alone her agility.
((I figure they'll have the same speed. Since she's female and smaller she'd be a bit more agile/flexible that Yuki, as far as twisting her body around in odd positions in combination with the speed to avoid being hit or to reach out and hit, so that would be her skill advantage over him. I don't really know what Yuki's fighting style is, so any idea what Yuki's advantage over Lamia is?))

{{ Occ:// Yuki is rather small for a male, so, he is able to slip under things. He was trained in attacking with objects attached to him, than leaping away or slipping off. He is much more stealthy than his brother, soundless when he slips into the shadows. Mostly, his style is attack than run, or leap over things, since his jump is rather impressive, and he can climb tree's, unlike Sin. He's also very good at dodging, making up for his lack of physical power. }}
Sin eyed the two, smirking when Lamia seemed to be thinking through her options. He didn't comment or say anything when she agreed, mostly understanding the situation. Yuki wanted to be dominant. He rarely was, unless it came to Sin's affection. Though Sin would never admit it, he favored Yuki over his adopted son just by a little. Though it was there. Now, Yuki felt threatened, and Sin did not bother to make him feel otherwise. Why couldn't he share his attention? Either way, whatever mad the boy happier, whether it be a twisted game of chase or not.
His head raised as the sky flashed, the sound of crackling thunder cutting through the silence. A storm was approaching. He turned to look at Lamia, lips twitching. If it rained it would be helpful to Yuki, the male had learned how to stop himself from slipping and would be able to see her footprints in the mud.
Yuki twitched when thunder abruptly cut through the air, turning to look at Sin. He sent a smirk less than friendly to Lamia, though not threatening. Why? Why her? Well, maybe he would see. Before he even could crouch he bolted, disappearing into the woods.

((Hmmmm. So they're both at the same speed, and both are good at blending with shadows. I'd say Yuki has the edge of physical strength and climbing, and Lamia is a bit better at dodging since she's more flexible. Sound about right, maybe?
Also... Instead of trying to RP a whole test of skills, how about we just do a time skip and make it a draw? Yuki learns to keep a good distance from Lamia's teeth and tail, Lamia learns to keep in motion lest Yuki use his skill in using the terrain to his advantage to score a hit.))
Lamia watched as Yuki vanished into the treeline, expression becoming a touch amused. It was a trick she herself favored. While there was no fog, the white vixen was more than capable of hiding herself in darkness. Yet another trick she'd learned as soon as she was old enough to walk.
Weaving from side to side, she moved backwards and vanished into her own section of forest. Once under cover she began traveling the edge of the tiny clearing. A grim smile came to her face as a blinding bolt of lightning flashed overhead, illuminating the entire scene in brightest light.

((Sounds good))
Time Skip~
Yuki arrived back at where Sin rested, grumbling to himself as he rested beside his brother. She was tough. Tougher than he had thought she would be. She was best to be avoided on the ground. However, Yuki was able to keep with her, his speed and use of the terrain had let him score hits on her, better than Sin. Sin didn't have the speed the two had, and he couldn't climb a tree.
"She's tough." Yuki grumbled lightly. Though, it wasn't a annoyed grumble. He respected her more now, maybe he could hold his tongue instead of sneering and snipping at her.
Sin grinned when his brother returned, nodding at his words. "Would I choose anyone less?" He questioned, waiting for Lamia to return. He allowed Yuki close, even nudged him, something he used to do when they were closer.
"Hence why we work so well. I have strength, she has speed." He hummed.

"Yes. If we are able to take down a starving pack of wolves together then I doubt there is much that could challenge us and live to brag of the encounter to his fellows."
Lamia had been sitting off to the side, assessing her physical state. She had felt Yuki land a few hits, but she'd gotten in a few of her own. Neither fox appeared to be injured though, testiment to their ability to dodge a blow even as it was landing.
Truthfully the physical examination would have only taken her half a moment. It was her mental struggle that kept her away. Her demon had gotten excited during the fight and was raring for a good challenge. Even now, looking at Yuki, she felt the dark urge to crush those legs and assert her power over his prone form.
Lamia shook her head, giving a firm mental shove to the thoughts, and was able to look at Yuki without that dark veil clouding her sight. It would take awhile for it to fade entirely though, and she might always have to be on guard.
Now she wandered over to the brothers and stopped a careful distance away, just close enough that she could twitch her tail over so that the tip was touching Sin. Possessive.
((I'd forgotten about this one >.< We should toss in an ending post soon.))

Sin flicked an ear when Lamia flicked the tip of her tail onto him, recognizing her behavior and neither embracing or rejecting it. So, she did have a way of showing she cared? He was starting to look forward to reading her body more, to watch how she subtly would express things. Most would grow tired, but Sin? Sin had great patience, and he was content with silence. She was still there, and he knew that if she ever felt like she was not content with him she would leave.
Yuki himself seemed to be staring at Lamia's tail, then at her. Sin took note of the digging into the earth the males claws were doing, mentally sighing. It would take awhile.
"I am going to visit my daughters tribe soon." Yuki whispered, distracting himself, distracting the jealousy. Sin was his and Ixen's, and yet this random vixen had her tail on him! Her tail! Sin didn't even move away, in fact, he was smirking. This was something he needed to mule over, speak about with his mate, and later come back to. Right now? He was glad. Glad he had landed a few hits on the vixen. Glad his brother was happy, even if the vixen he was not fond of, yet. Maybe he was being childish, maybe he was being possessive in his own way? Wasn't that what the challenge had been for him?
"You should come sometime, Sin." He paused, glancing at Lamia. "And Lamia."
Sin heartily chuckled, shaking his head. "I have been offered by Kithara before. I declined. Her tribe would not think well of her if they spotted a fox such as myself nearby. And if they did, I rather not approach her tribe until she has settled things. Maybe sometime soon." What he didn't add was that he wasn't prepared. She had something he had lost, and though he loved her Sin was not willing to embrace that part of her yet. Maybe one day, but right now he was content when she came to visit her home.
Yuki nodded in understanding. Sin didn't have to tell him the feelings he felt, Yuki knew of them. It was just an offer he had felt should be spoken, for both him and that women. He was growing more and more annoyed, and so he turned to leave, ear flicking.
"I'll tell Ixen you came back home. I doubt you're staying long, you seem content with being with her." He mused, content when Sin smirked in response. Good, he was still kind to him~ This left the boy with his own smirk, vanishing into the bushes silently.
With this, Sin turned to look at Lamia, pleased with her and how the two had interacted. Not the best on Yuki's part, but he hadn't expected the male to greet Lamia with a warm smile.
"So, where to?" He hummed, content with merely staying by her. He had nowhere to go in mind, if maybe Yasashii one day. They had come to Cruor land, now, he could go anywhere with her, as long as it was not Shai's den itself.

Lamia watched as Sin and Yuki exchanged words, eyes narrowing slightly as they usually did when she was analyzing something. She could tell there was more under the surface, things she could only guess at.
She had a couple guesses about this tribe they spoke of. It was either one of peace or one of fighting. Peaceful sorts either could not understand darker souls like herself and Sin, tried to "cleanse the blood" from their souls, or both. A fighting tribe would mean constant battles and violence to establish a pecking order, always having to watch your back.
Lamia knew from personal experience how the second sort could be tiring. Her old clan had been like that. She had no real experience with the first sort, the innocent ones, because they tended to avoid her on principle. Either way it did not matter though. If it was a place Sin would not fit into, Lamia most certainly would not fit!
The jealous glances Yuki sent towards her, and the possessive ones sent to Sin, only served to please her. She liked wakening negative aspects in others, and it was made better than Yuki held his brother in such high regard. Not that Lamia would have stuck around for more than a day or so if those triffling reasons were the only ones. Sin intrigued her in ways she could not yet define. The unknown was a vulernability and a weakness, so she wanted to be sure of this new feeling first. She would deal with whatever came next when it got here.
Yuki left, vanishing into the shadows with a level of skill that Lamia approved of, then gave her attention to Sin as he asked for it. "I am a rootless drifter, bound to no place or thing," she intoned in her flat voice. She stood and stretched, listening to the tiny cracks and pops her joints made as she did so, and felt better once she'd finished. Truthfully she had been bound to no place, thing, or one, and had said as much before to others, but for some reason that last word stuck in her throat. This also intrigued her a bit.
Slowly the white and blood-covered vixen moved towards the tree line, though in a different spot than where Yuki had vanished. She glanced over her shoulder to see if Sin was following. "Let us simply wander, and see where fate choses to place us next." Truthfully Lamia did not believe in fate. If she had she would have been leading a place of bloodthirst and primitive foxes, bound to a male she had never met before. Or perhaps this was a different kind of fate. Deities had been known to meddle in lives before, and not all stood for goodness....
Mind traveling down the path of possible Deity interference in her life, Lamia vanished into the forest every bit as skillfully as Yuki had.

He smirked at her, tempted to say that she was now bound, though he knew she would only flick her tail in annoyance. Truth be told, she could leave anytime she wanted, he wouldn't stop her. He wasn't the type to beg and plead. He'd simply smile and nod as she vanished, later looking for her along his travels, and if he found her merely claim her side again. She was his now, and he hers. Sin was loyal to the very few he allowed to be a part of him, and to say there were few was an understatement.
So this was the woman. He had found someone that was not dull, that was not simply a loose canon much like Nex or Pattoh. She was not a savior like one of the women he had met long ago that was determined to "cure" Sin, later running away when Sin bared his teeth. She was not naive. No, she was simply Lamia, a creature that defined itself simply with its own state of being.
He rose when she wandered off, head turning to glance at him. Oh? So she wasn't simply shrugging him off. He smirked back, pleased. It may be odd to leave his home at this point, but maybe it was time for him to explore.
So he followed her, content for once to follow. Just this once. Of course, he didn't expect her to be the one to guide the entire time~
