Pushing herself up off of the black mutt, Mei gave a small stretch, hoping to walk off the pain. "Ow damn.. Seemed like a fun idea at the time.. But.." She mumbled to herself, eying the shiny object above them. "SO! Any new ideas on how to reach it?" She was hopeful that there would be an answer. A positive one.

Thankfully, her small size proved to be an asset here. She was able to climb some of the branches without breaking the twigs, and was steadily moving closer to the sparkly object. But now, as she rose in height, she realised that she couldn't see...or hear...a thing. The fog was so thick, it was starting to make her feel dizzy and disoriented.
"grrhh...I'll...make it to the top...ggrr" her grunts sounded more like squeaks, but bravely she tried to fight the effects of the fog

However, another problem soon presented itself. The higher he went, the worse that fog got. And for some reason it was making him dizzy . . . really really dizzy. Ah hell. Maybe . . . he should pick another tree, or try to find some other way to get the damn thing.
Turning around, the lightning dragon just jumped off the damn tree and opened wings to glide down to the ground, coughing a bit. That was safe enough, since there wasn't as much fog down there. What was the deal with this stuff anyway? Geez.

Aha! she was so close! now she could see the object much clearer, it was just across the other branch, Now, she had to be ultra-super careful. One wrong move, and she would be sent falling into the unknown mist...
"come on..." she said, reached out towards the amulet...

Holly looked to West. "I'll be right back..." With that she ventured into the forest and tried to scale a tree. There was something shiny in one!
She couldn't see a darn thing and started her way up one of the trees. Hopefully she picked the right one.

Riley rubbed one of her tentacles in annoyance, glaring angrily at it as she walked up to Jericho and Sammy.
What possessed me to follow anyone into that is beyond me.. this won't feel right for a week. She grumbled, clearly unhappy with her actions.
She heard the thud of students falling left and right, and her bad mood dissipated slightly. Well, at least we're not the only ones.

Astra almost had the pendant, but a sudden crack caused her to look down. 'uh oh..." she gulped, as her branch seemed to buckle and cave, finally breaking and sending her towards the ground, "WAAHHHHH!" She screamed as she fell, unable to slow her decent as she kept falling through branches and leaves, ending up tumbling down as she continued to fall. Though through her whirling vision it looked like she was to quite close to the broken doll and tybalt. Was she going to fall on them?

Almost... Holly feel. Ouch. She swore she got really close to it. The fog didn't help so she went back out of it. Seemed like most of the other students weren't having any luck either.
"So. What now?"

"You think you feel bad Riley? I'm already dead and that fog makes me feel like I actually had my lugs crushed. No way am I going back in right now. I doubt any of us should if it's messing with us this much."

"I managed to survive it. The snow ninja defeated the thing before it could finish the rest of us off.... only six of us were left by the time it was done with," Jericho frowned, still unable to really imagine what it was like to be incinerated to nothingness essentially. He hoped to never experience either... and that if anything he'd be the one inflicting it onto his enemies in the future. Not the other way around.
"Yeah.. I'm definitely going to be feeling this in the morning," he mumbled to Riley. He looked back up towards the shiny and let out a sigh, "Guess that one won't be added to my hoard tonight."

Jackdamnit she swore if things kept scaring her this evening... LW took in a long, slow breath that she let out even slower. Her grip relaxed on her tail as she stayed curled up on the ground, just watching as the others attempted to get the shiny-glistening thing. The she-wolf had also determined she did not like fog. It allowed things to sneak up on you.
At least she didn't freak out when the wily gryphon appeared. Ren looked like he'd run a marathon or something. The she-wolf was very glad then, that she hadn't made it too far up the tree. Or remained in that jacking fog for long.
"Hey you." She reached over and gave Ren's shoulder a light squeeze, gazing down at the serpent beside her. "How far did ya make it?" LW asked after patting the serpent and moving her hand to rub slow circles against Ren's back.

Tybalt muttered something incoherent. He was absolutely fed up of Mei. All she ever did was piss him off! The least she could do was apologize for using him as a landing pad. On the bright side! He wasn't the only one who fell. Everyone was dropping like flies and normally he would be rolling on the ground laughing at them. But he was in no laughing mood.
He was about to walk off when he heard yet another sound, though this time it was a scream. Which once again, brought his attention upwards "Oh you've got to be kidding me!" And just like that, he was on the ground again. Squished by yet another ghoul, Astra.

Too busy staring in awe at the shiny object, Mei hadn't heard a word from Tybalt. Probably something irrelevant to the situation anyways.
Snapping out of her trance upon hearing a crashing sound; she watched as the dust cleared around Tybalt and the other ghoul.
Tybalt was down again! What happened this time? Same thing? "Tybalt.. Get up.. Your so lazy." She spoke in a monotone voice, shaking her head somewhat. At least Tybalt broke Astra's fall as well--It was safe to assume that she was in good health.

He tried to climb the tree he'd run into. Tried being key word. But with the pot on his head and the fog around his form, he didn't get far.
Mostly because the tree was actually, a stump.

As Astra tightly kept the prize within reach, she might have noticed, as she hit terra firma that the pendant was glowing awfully, painfully bright.
Tybalt, Mei Xiu, and everyone else did not even have a chance to say another single word: there was an incredibly bright flash, a large whoosh of what felt like all of Halloween falling right below the students' feet, and then...
Well, it was hard to describe in words. It was as if someone had taken all of the Weeping Forest's trees, and turned them into gigantic, hulking rectangles, ones that towered heads and heads above the tallest students, reaching towards - a blue sky?!
Though all the students were huddled together, it was hard not to notice the sudden change in scenery, once they got over the motion sickness, that was. The small patch of green they were standing on abruptly ended, and instead, in front of the students lay a giant wasteland of bleak grey, with odd white stripes painted in vertical lines. What was stranger were the clearly moving structures, they looked sort of like steel boxes with four wheels, whooshing up and down the vertical lines at what seemed like lightning fast speed.
The pendant that Astra had once clung to had fallen, in fact it was currently hanging off a fence across at the other side of the giant grey wasteland of evil moving boxes.
(((YOU ARE NOW HERE: ?????
- It is recommended, due to a student's very new Fear, that they stay together as much as they can, letting lost might mean the end of them - It is up to the students to decide how to proceed. Keep in mind each action has consequences, so look around, and come to general consensus as a group as to how to proceed. - If you joined in late you can still rp your student here, but after this there will be NO more new faces allowed. - All students are currently seated in a small lot of "green grass", the starting point. An obstruction lies to the right, left, and behind them. The only option seems to be crossing this "grey wasteland", the question would be exactly how. - Discuss with other students and figure out a way to proceed! ))
