Skylar barely had time to read the text from Jack before Alice called out to them saying they needed to meet Cailen in the parking lot. Instantly, Sky felt that something was wrong. The last time she had seen Cailen he had been in a panic. All she could think about was what Cailin said about being in danger. She felt like they had to get to him as fast as possible. She looked over at Alice and Adam, "Alright, I'm going to start heading over there now and try and find Jack on the way." She figured this was a good excuse to leave before them so she could get there faster.
Without waiting for a response, Sky took off on the direction of the parking lot. As she walked she took out her phone and sent a message to Jack. I'll come to you. Cailen wants us to meet in the parking lot Hopefully Jack would be there by the time that Sky arrived. She needed to know what was going on. All these horrible things kept popping into her head and she just couldn't shake them.
Skylar felt a bit relieved and at the same time, dread when she spotted the exit to the parking lot. She was finally here and would now find out the news. Opening the doors, she quickly looked around for Cailen and was happy to see Jack was already with him. She made her over to them and tried to assess the situation. Something was obviously wrong with the look on Cailen's face "What happened? What's wrong? This time Cailen would not have the option of keeping this from her.

❝Obsession Compulsion Disorder❞ 【But I can control it】 I think.

Jack could fill his grip on Cailen's shoulders grow tighter as he spoke. It was an upsetting fact, that the reason why Bella was gone was because Cailen ******** up. But Jack suppressed any anger he had, he couldn't be angry at his best friend while the mother of his child was missing. There was more pressing issues at hand. Suddenly, Skylar's voice appeared from thin air. Jack looked up to see her just as his phone vibrated in his pants. He stood up and grabbed her by the hand, "Bella's gone," Jack looked back towards Cailen. "we have to call the police."

As far as they knew it was unsafe for the group to be split up; or for anyone to go off on their own. Turning back to signal to Adam that he should follow as well, Alice began to make her way through the mall and out towards the parking lot where Jack, Cailen and now Skylar were waiting. "Bella's gone, we have to call the police."
Arriving only in time to hear Jack speak those words, a chill was sent throughout her entire body. Something had happened to Bella - and it was serious enough to warrant a telephone call to the police. Her brain screamed for her to open her mouth and ask for someone to fill her in on the current situation, but somewhere along the way the signal got lost. Deep concern was painted on everyone's faces; her's certainly no exception.
Turning her attention to Cailen, Alice was not sure exactly how to feel towards him. This had to be related to the tall man who claimed to be a good friend of Cailen's, so of course he would be feeling extraordinarily guilty for anything happening to his twin sister. On the other hand, if his gambling debts put his own family in danger.... She wanted to scream at him for being so incredibly reckless and putting Bella in danger. However at the exact same time she wanted to wrap her arms around Cailen and tell him that everything would be okay and that they would figure something out.
She would take the middle ground on this one, fully well knowing that getting angry with Cailen was not the way to ensure Bella returned home safely. Kneeling down in front of where he was seated, Alice reached out and took a hold of Cailen's hand and gave it a slight squeeze to make up for the fact that she remained completely silent. She was not okay with the fact his choices had such dire consequences, but it was not in her nature to make the situation worse by getting angry.
Adam might be a different story....
Alice looked up at Cailen, trying to be as sympathetic as she could using nothing but her eyes. Afraid to speak, unsure of what words might leave her. It had to be easy to tell that she was still upset with him. She could not lie even when she wasn't speaking a single word.

Cailen$Legosi As he finished explaining what happened to Bella, Cailen could feel Jack’s grip on his shoulder getting tighter. But that was it. No freak out, no tantrum of rage. Nothing. Why? Cailen didn’t have too much time to contemplate it when Skylar walked over to them. She was more in the loop than the rest of them, so even with Jack’s short explanation of what happened, he knew she would know why. Skylar was shortly followed by Alice who seemed to hear Jack’s statement. Once again Cailen was surprised by her reaction to the situation. He expected her to be less understanding than what she seemed. He felt her gentle hands wrap around his own and looked into her eyes. She was upset with him, he could see that, but she was actually trying to comfort him. He expected her to not want to talk to him or even look at him. Why is everyone being so nice? Why don’t they hate me? Right now it seemed that he was the only one that hated him. Then again, Adam has yet to come out. He will surely hate me.
“It’s all my fault, Alice. I messed up big time” he said trying to control himself. He could feel himself falling apart at the seams as the reality of it all sunk in. “I understand if you hate me.” Was it just the fact that his sister was kidnapped that everyone was not angrier with him? Sure Alice was comforting now, but what will happen after? What will happen when/if Bella comes back? Will she realize that I’m not worth the trouble I cause and just leave me? He could understand if she did, but he hopes she doesn’t. Would there ever be a way to make it up to them? Could he ever prove himself after something like this? Would any of them even want to be seen with him when this was over in fear that it would happen again?
Cailen’s thoughts lingered back to Jack’s earlier statement. Calling the police was the obvious answer, but something about getting the police involved didn’t feel right. He’d seen plenty of crime shows to know that kidnappers prefer to not have the police involved. Would Tony be like one of those criminals? If they got the police involved then the possibility of him not getting his money back was likely. Would Tony jump to threatening Bella further? Would he really kill her if they got the police involved? Cailen wasn’t so sure he wanted to take that risk. He had to find a way to get Tony his money, and fast.

I messed up big time.”
Alice couldn't argue with him on that point but she still remained silent. She would not make the situation worse. She was unsure of how the situation would turn if something bad happened to Bella. Alice knew that whoever was holding Bella hostage must have been looking for money from Cailen; although she had no idea how much he owed this time.
“I understand if you hate me.”
She was unsure how to respond to that comment. At this point, the longer she kept from speaking the more he was going to assume the worst; that she hated him and wanted nothing more to do with him. Alice knew that she did not hate Cailen, even if he really, really messed up this time. This was more than just forgetting her birthday or anything petty and small like they had gotten in arguments before.
"I don't hate you," she spoke softly, feeling as if she raised her voice above a whisper it would shatter the boy as if he were made of fragile glass.
Once again, a silence fell over her. She wanted to continue her sentence and let him know that she was quite upset that he had let something like this happen despite being told over and over again that he needed to stop gambling. Upset almost did not even cover it, her feelings veering more towards the anger side of the spectrum. Expressing this anger would not do the situation any good. They all needed to have a level head if they were going to figure out what to do, especially Cailen.
"Let's just focus on Bella," Alice decided to turn the subject away from her feelings and place it back to Bella.
Calling the police seemed to be the logical answer to the problem, but that ran some risks as well. Criminals never liked the involvement of the authorities. It was possible that he would harm Bella if there was any indication that Cailen had gotten anyone else involved. The man wanted his money and did not seem to want to stop at anything to get it back. The more she thought about it, the more she started to feel as if taking the job at Indulgence would be the only solution. Perhaps she could even ask for an advance if she signed some sort of contract that stated she would work for whatever amount of time. But she did not even have the meeting until tomorrow. Even that seemed like it would be waiting much too long.

Sky looked between Jack and Cailen waiting for one of them to explain what happened. She was expecting Cailen to be the one to say something. He was the one who wanted them all out there anyway. It was surprising to have Jack be the first one to speak. Bella ‘s gone? This just couldn’t be true. They would have to do something and Sky agreed with Jack about the police. It seemed to be the only logical thing to do. If they tried to do everything themselves then Bella could end up dead. The police were supposed to be trained for things like this and it wasn’t like anyone else would have to know they were involved.
She looked at Cailen on the ground and she wanted to be able to ease his pain. She didn’t like see any of her friends like this. But they couldn’t focus on whose fault it was. If they were going to get Bella back then they would all have to have clear heads about it. It didn’t seem like Cailen could do that at the moment. ”I agree with Jack. We need to tell the police. They will know what to do about this and the sooner we tell them, the better.” She hoped the others would agree with her. Maybe now Cailen would accept money from them.
(kinda short. Sorry)

Cailen$Legosi It seemed like it took forever for Alice to say something. By her not saying anything it made Cailen nervous. She really hates me this time. I might as well just forget about it now. Surprisingly though when she finally did speak, she said she didn’t hate him. He could tell that she was probably nothing short of furious with him, but at least she didn’t hate him. This raised a little hope inside him, but not enough to make him feel much better. This whole mess still was his fault, even if everyone was being kind to him. He nodded when Alice said they needed to focus on Bella right now. He knew the matter was not done with, but they’d have to discuss it when this was all figured out. Once everything happened, for better or worse, he’d get what was coming.
Skylar, who remained silent but worried reiterated on Jack’s request. The police were definitely the most logical answer. She had a very good point. It would be the smart thing to do rather than try and fix it themselves. Cailen finally realized that he was no longer in this on his own. He finally understood that he needed help. He couldn’t do it all by himself. As much as it would pain him to take the money from his friends, it would hurt him even more if something bad happened to Bella because of him. Still, something about calling the police worried him. What if Tony found out that the police were involved and decided to do something drastic? I’m sure he won’t like the idea of the police being involved. Then again, the police were trained to do this sort of thing. They would know what to do better than he would. If they did catch Tony, would Cailen still have to give him his money back? If he were jailed, which he most likely would be, then paying Tony back would be sort of useless to him. Cailen would not want to be paying the man who kidnapped his sister bail money.
“You guys are right. Calling the police would make sense. But, but something about getting them involved makes me worried.” His voice was a little raspy from the strain of yelling and sobbing. Cailen fully agreed that calling the police would be their best bet, but he felt the need to voice his concern. If they put out a news report about it, then Tony would most likely see it. Would the police be able to do their investigation without getting the media involved? Although it may help them find Bella faster by getting the media involved, that could increase the chance that would find her dead. Cailen knew that getting Tony his money would be the best way to make sure that he got Bella back safely. But where am I going to get that kind of money so fast? He was planning on selling some of his favorite possessions to help get some money, but selling them could take awhile. Even then it might not be enough. Cailen didn’t get a paycheck for another few days, so that was out. There was no way that he was going to be able to get all that money in such a short amount of time. He didn’t know how long Tony was willing to leave Bella unharmed until he got his money back. Even still, Cailen didn’t want Bella to be with that man for long. Anything can happen within a day.

' I'm sure Bella is alright...This guy probably just wanted to threaten Cailen for the money and leave like the rest of them did...I don't have reason to panic right now.' Shaking his head in anger, Adam leaned against the starbucks counter until a hand delivered his coffee into the 'pick-up' area.
" One Venti Cinnamon Dolce Latte with caramel syrup?", Spoke the elder teen as he looked around for someone to claim the unique concoction. ' Yep...that nasty thing would be mine.' Thought he as he folded his hand around the cup after slipping on a sleeve to keep from burning himself. Even with the sleeve it was still hot to the touch, and in that knowledge Adam could be comforted. ' This'll scorch Tony's eyes out.' Turning around to join Alice and Skylar at the table, he turned around to find three empty spots quickly being filled by another party. ' Alice!' Oh cr*p...where did they go?
Hastily turning his head towards the closest door leading out of the mall, Seeing Alice walking towards the bathroom sedated his anxiety. Just for a -moment- the thought crossed his mind to wait outside the bathroom hallway for her to come back outside; but, he shook away the idea. ' Can we say crazy stalker?' So Adam hovered near a lobby-like livingroom scene close to the door and leaned on a green-painted metallic bench until he saw Alice leaving the hallway. ' See Adam; your overreacting...There isn't an insane creep out stalking Alice today.' With her being Cailen's girlfriend, Adam was convinced that Skylar would be the most likely of he party not to get kidnapped, or he would have ran up behind her to escort her out of the building as well.
Hiding behind the said potted plant until he was positive that Alice wouldn't turn around to notice that her friend had...lingered, Adam carried his hot beverage away from his chest as he looked both ways for that 'Tony' character. However, after fifteen paces, Adam took a soothing breath and realized that -once more- he was overreacting again. Calmed, Adam just barely peeked down the bathroom hallway to peruse for the mysterious stranger and walked three steps away before an odd sensation alerted him of a small piece of paper stuck to the bottom of his shoe. It looked like a card, so Adam reached over while raising his foot to tear it from his vans. ' Indulgence? Why would -that- kind of a card be here at the mall?' The strip club was at the other side of town, Adam knew that detail quite well. Walking beside a trash can, Adam was about to throw the card away when a flash of color on the back captured his attention. There was writing on the backside, handwritten in pink, with the name 'Alice' scribbled onto the end of the statement. Most of the writing was illegible (for his squinting eyes at least), but the 'Alice' was unmistable. ' Oh ho no...' Adam was in denial that this card could even be hinting about the Alice he knew. He even shook his head in disbelief and chuckled to himself. ' No way in hell would Alice work at a stripclub.' It had to be a different Alice...he would have seen her there.
Shoving the card into his coat pocket, Adam let his feet do the talking as he walked hurriedly out of the building to make up the distance. Seeing Cailen with that: ' I f***ed up big time...' scribbled all over his face almost felt like a punch to Adam's stomach. Seeing Jack looking very distraugt as well, a five-second's glance forced the pain in his stomach to curdle into a sickening feeling. ' Oh no...where's Bella...I thought she was with Jack...' but there was Jack...without the radiant brunette. Walking up to the group, Adam arrived just in time to hear Cailen mention something about the police.
“You guys are right. Calling the police would make sense. But, but something about getting them involved makes me worried.” A window smashed in his mind at the realization that Bella was gone. The distraught look suddenly made sense and Adam had to fight to resist the urge to fling his scalding coffee right into Cailen's face. You shouldn't have left Bella alone with Jack. The man isn't capable of punching Tony's lights out! Adam's face turned into a silent snarl. He wasn't frowning, or grimacing, or moving his mouth; but his eyes were disdainful, and he witheld none of his venom.' GRRRR!' Adam closed his eyes to take in a soothing breath. Your assuming Bella was even with Jack at the time...They could have stopped talking and left Macy's to look for you At that Adam felt incredibly guilty, but that could not change the fact that this was Cailen's fault. Finally the desire to shove the hot coffee in Cailen's face overtook him and he held out his arm towards either of the girls and reopened his glaring eyes.
" Somebody take this coffee from me. Before I throw it at someone.", Adam may have been looking at Cailen; but, he was p*ssed enough to mean anybody at this point. Especially Tony. When the coffee was happily situated in the hands of someone else other than Cailen, Adam tried to rid his mind of the anger pulsing under his skin. ' Just calm down before you make a scene. Bella will be fine. There is no reason to overreact, Cailen didn't mean to screw up again...'
Out of nowhere Adam roughly shoved Cailen in the chest strong enough to alert his friend: exactly how p*ssed off he was. If only resisting the urge to spit on him simply because of the importance of their friendship. Obviously the mature part of the outing had begun...
" YOU STUPID, HAREBRAINED, C*CKS*CKING *SS*H*LE!" Adam roared at Cailen, shouting the loudest he had ever shouted and hunching his shoulders to further add a subtle hint of aggression to his wordless threat of: ' Don't touch me, or it's ON.' He paused only long enough to breathe a hiss and narrow his angered eyes." WILL YOU ADMIT THAT YOU HAVE A F**KING PROBLEM NOW?!?" Adam roughly shoved Cailen again before purposefully backing off and raising his hands to let everyone know he wasn't going to try and kick Cailen's a**. He was certainly p*ssed, but killing him would do nothing to help rescue Bella, and he knew that well.
" If she dies...Its YOUR fault.", Regardless of his dark tone lowering back to his regular pitch, none of the venom left his voice as he cracked his knuckles and pinned his eyes on Cailen's own. Completely ignoring everyone up to this point, and continuing to ignore them. ' I shouldn't have left her alone...'
" But if I die..its my fault; Okay?" He turned his head to look at the group in one hurried sweep. " I agree with Cailen...The cops should be a last resort. " And crossing his arms as the anger started to wane, Adam turned his head back to Cailen. ' Once again Cales, I'm fixing your mess.' Of course that wasn't the only thing he pondered about; the idea of Bella being hurt or wounded upset his stomach just as well.
" Where do you think Bella is? Where did you meet this Toblerone? How does he want you to deliver the money? Did he give you a deadline? How much does he want?", the last question was perhaps the most important one. He had a good amount of money in his savings; but, the option of clearing out his bank account and starring in a few xxx movies to earn enough dough to cover this situation all depended on the number Cailen said.

Skylar let out a small sigh out of mere frustration. Did people not realize the seriousness of the situation? You didn’t get the police involved when something’s been stolen and you think you can still get it back without going through much trouble with the authorities. You didn’t just not call them when one of your closest friends was kidnapped and in danger. She suddenly felt like she was in some sort of movie. Just the way everyone seemed to be acting reminded her of some movie, though she couldn’t exactly place what movie it was exactly. I’ve seen too many movies apparently. This whole situation was just not something that she wanted to deal with at the moment. Hell, she never wanted to deal with something like this. No one should ever have to.
Sky noticed Adam show up. She wondered why it had taken him a bit longer to show up but she pushed it from her mind. All that mattered was that he was here now. Someone would have to catch him up to speed. It was almost hard to believe. Skylar was sure that if she were to say what was going on right now she would feel like she was reading some script. Almost like this whole thing wasn’t really happening, it was just some sort of skit. Hearing the first statement that came out of Adam’s mouth, however, Sky knew that he was caught up to speed already. He was pissed, that much was certain. It was no secret that he had a thing for Bella and that he cared about her. She just hoped he would keep his head through this. The last thing they needed to do was freak out at one another.
Skylar took it upon herself to take the coffee cup from Adam since he requested it be done. She almost regretted freeing up his hands when he took his next action. Was he serious? Did he really think fighting would solve anything? Why is it that people felt the need to place blame on someone at a time like this? Everyone getting upset like that was starting to piss Skylar off. She felt the anger rising in her body and the churning feeling she felt in the pit of her stomach when she was really upset. She had never felt this way around her friends before. She usually reserved this kind of feeling for home when she was alone. The hand that held Jack’s tightened slightly.
”ADAM, JUST SHUT THE ******** UP!” The coffee that she had been holding for Adam was now crushed on the ground by her feet. Sky was never one to use the f-word. Sure she would swear on occasion but she always seemed to stray from that one word. However, this time she was pissed. ”Fighting and blaming someone isn’t going to solve this problem. If anything, it’s just going to make everything worse. Everyone has problems and none of them are harmless. I’m sure you have some of your own that could hurt someone you love should it ever be brought to the surface.” Skylar had never talked to any of her friends like this before. Everything she was thinking was just coming out of her mouth right now. She wasn’t even thinking of what she was saying.
”Like I said, blaming anyone isn’t going to bring Bella back. We all need to be level-headed about this or someone will get killed.” Sky paused slightly after the last sentence. She knew it was true yet saying out loud just made everything more real to her. Hearing Adam’s statement of whose fault it would be if he died just flared up her anger all over again. ”Adam, I don’t know what the hell you think you are going to do but just don’t. If you think running into something without a plan would be heroic in any chance to save her then you are wrong. You would just get yourself killed and it may not even save her. I can’t exactly stop you if you want to be an idiot but don’t expect me to watch you kill yourself.” Once again she paused from her last sentence. A thought from the back of her mind was brought to the surface once more. Watch Soon she might not be able to do such a thing. Skylar quickly shook the thought from her head. She couldn’t be thinking of such things at the moment. She had much bigger items on her mind.
”I don’t understand how you guys can possibly think that using the cops as a last resort is a good idea. It’s the worst idea I’ve ever heard. The police would know so much more on how to handle this than all of us combined. What do we even know anyway? I’m sure the only thing that anyone knows about a kidnapping situation is what they’ve seen in the movies.” Skylar felt herself shaking from all the talking she had done and of course, the anger that was still with her. Why couldn’t everyone see what she saw? If they didn’t call the cops then it was a good possibility that Bella would die.

Cailen$Legosi Cailen sat there and thought about the possibility of calling the police when he heard the door open and someone walk out. He saw the look on Adam’s face as he seemed to figure out what happened. He heard Adam ask someone to take his coffee and saw his glaring eyes. Cailen could see the anger building behind them. This time he knew he was going to get it. Sure enough Adam gave him a good shove, sending him back a few steps to regain his balance. Then he listened as Adam cussed him out right there in the middle of the parking lot. Cailen just stood there and get it over with. He wasn’t going to fight back because he knew he deserved it all. At the end of his rampage, Adam shoved him again sending him a few steps backwards again. He watched as after that he backed off, Cailen regretting that Adam didn’t punch him. He knew that it would be all his fault if, if Bella dies. When he heard Adam say it he managed to look up into Adam’s cold eyes. They seemed locked on each other as Cailen tried to break away from the glare. What he heard Adam say next made Cailen raise an eyebrow. Why would he die? He wouldn’t kill himself would he?
After Adam’s rampage, Skylar had one of her own. The exception was that she was defending Cailen instead of yelling at him. His jaw dropped when he heard her swear. This was something very unlikely of her and it surprised him. She hardly ever spoke up, never mind yell. Cailen wasn’t really surprised when Adam agreed with him that getting the cops involved might not be the best idea. Adam wasn’t one that seemed to like getting the fuzz involved. Of course Skylar was on the other end of the spectrum. She thought that getting the police involved was the best answer. Cailen couldn’t help but agree, everything she said made sense. He didn’t know what to do. The police would know what to do, but Tony might also know what to do. He seemed like a smart guy, except for trusting Cailen with his money.
Cailen remained silent letting the group calm down for a bit. He thought about Adam’s last questions. They were ones that hadn’t yet had a chance to cross his mind. He’d been too worried to wonder where Tony was going to take Bella and when he wanted his money. “I, I don’t know where he is taking her and I don’t know when the deadline is. All he said was that he was going to take her until I gave him his money back, but how long he is willing to wait, I don’t know.” He took a moment to think about the money he owed Tony. He hadn’t specified exactly how much he wanted, but Cailen assumed it was all of it. He hadn’t thought of that amount since the night it happened. “I met him at the casino one night and uh” he took a moment to deliver the amount he owed, knowing it would really upset the group. “I owe him, $11,000.” He winced, expecting another shove or another cuss out. He knew this was an exceptional amount of money and no one in the group would be happy hearing that amount. Just thinking of where he was going to get that kind of money made him even more upset with himself. How could he lose that kind of money, especially since it wasn’t his?

Three, two... one. Alice counted down in her mind and in almost perfect timing Adam handed his coffee to Skylar and stepped toward Cailen with a shoving motion. Her first instinct was to back away since she was in such close proximity to where the eruption was occurring. However she could not will herself to step away, hoping that a female presence being there would somehow calm Adam down and deter any more aggression. Unfortunately her plan did not work; Adam continued to holler and shoved Cailen once more. Shortly after Skylar pipped up in a volume that surpassed Adam's, telling him to knock off what he was doing and that screaming and blaming others would not solve the problem. Alice wanted to chime in and agree that placing blame would not solve everything; and that everyone really needed to calm down, when an idea struck her.
"Just... give me a minute," Alice excused herself before quickly making her way out of earshot from the others. She wanted to make a quick phone call, in hopes that she would be able to fix the problem and get Bella back. At this point, she did not care if Cailen wanted anyone's help. She was no longer doing this to help him out, but rather to get Bella back; that was the only thing that mattered right now.
Reaching into her purse, Alice remembered that she was missing the business card that Harrison had given her. She almost admitted defeat before realizing that since she had just called earlier that day, the number should still be in her phone. Her heart raced as it rang. I can't believe I'm doing this... I can't believe I'm doing this.... Expecting to hear Harrison's secretary, Alice was surprised when the same deep male voice that had spoke to her at the casino answered. "Harrison speaking,"
Alice paused, her mouth suddenly feeling incredibly dry and unable to speak. The man had to repeat himself again before she could actually respond to him, "Hello Mr. Moore... it's Alice... I have an appointment with you tomorrow but I-wanted-to-know-if-we-could-meet-as-soon-as-you-could-its-important--"
She did not have the chance to finish her explanation before being interrupted by the man. "Anything for a pretty little face like yours. I take it you've been giving lots of thought to my offer. I'd love to have you on board here," the man chuckled as if he heard this sort of thing all of the time, "I'll tell you what, how about you come down to my office here in... say... fifteen minutes... half an hour? Whichever works for you. We can sign the contract today if you want."
After the telephone conversation ended, Alice was feeling a little bit more hopeful about the situation. It seemed as if this man was very eager to have her working for them. Maybe he would be eager enough to give her an advance on the money that she would be paid to do so. If he would be able to give her an advance it would help towards getting Bella back. She was not sure if taking this job was a good idea, but now that Bella was in danger she knew that she had to do something to get her back. The only snag in her plan was the fact that she had driven to the mall with Cailen, and therefore would not have her own drive to Indulgence. Surely, she was not going to tell him that she needed a drive to a strip club for a job, hoping to get an advance so she could pay off his gambling debts to get his twin sister back. The entire situation seemed insane the more she thought about it.
Adam... he drove himself here.... He'd be the least likely to judge and getting him away from Cailen might be a good idea right now.
Rushing back towards the group who were now talking about the amount of money that was owed to Tony, Alice grabbed on Adam's arm and spoke in a hurried tone, "Adam, I need a drive, now. No one ask questions. I'm going to fix this. Adam. Car. Now." Alice ordered hoping that no one would question anything until she had everything sorted out.
outofcharacter: so, as a potential twist I was thinking maybe the strip club owner could be related to Tony or a close friend of his or something. and could be NPC'd or whatever. just a thought!

Being yelled at by a woman was never a new thing for Adam to experience, but 'quiet' little Skylar screaming the F word at the top of her lungs was so great a surprise that Adam raised an eyebrow. Of all times for her to defend Cailen, Skylar chose 'now'. Why she was defending Cailen so strongly boggled him; because certainly she should know that Adam wouldn't beat his friend to a pulp. Adam was just an expessive person, and he didn't see the point of holding in his thoughts. ' Skylar has NO IDEA how often I've had to bail him out of this sh*t...I have a -right- to be p*ssed right now; but, I wont answer her and make things worse.' Shaking his head, Adam sent Skylar a brief threatening glare as an answer before Alice's words drifted into his ear and he turned his head to watch Alice walk away.
" Just so you know Cailen, I'm not saying I'd be an idiot and storm the building, of course we need a plan. My plan is to get you money. So call me when Tony gets in touch with you." Listening to Cailen's words, when the number eleven thousand omited into the atmosphere, his mouth curled in a grumble. ' It wont be easy...But I can do that...' Knowing he had a few health tests he had to pass very soon if he wanted to save Bella and Cailen from this mess, Adam held up a 'one moment' finger while reaching into his pants pocket for his phone. Adam was just about to open the contraption to dial a number when Alice grabbed his arm and captured his attention.
"Adam, I need a drive, now. No one ask questions. I'm going to fix this. Adam. Car. Now." ' I left my car at home...But we can share my motorcycle.'
Remembering the card in his pocket...Adam's mouth pursed in another grimace at the possibility of it being her card raised thirty points. Repeating the phrase 'I'm going to fix this', Adam raised the bar to fifty points. ' Oh no...' Adam felt his stomach sicken as he willingly led Alice towards his motorcycle and handed Alice the spare helmet. Stepping onto the vehicle, Adam looked back at the group a good distance away; half thankful to be out of the situation, and dreadful of the situation he was now in. Once again, he was alone with Alice, and his mind wanted him to continue from where the conversation at starbucks had left off...
Perhaps Adam would; but not today, preferably not while he was driving. Turning his head as the motor spurted to life, Adam's mouth curled in his crooked half-smile.
" Ready?" Adam looked down to make sure she was sitting properly on the motorbike before adding another comment and turning his head towards the parking lot.
" Wrap your arms around my waist." The very next stop sign, Adam was going to ask where she was going if she did not be honest about what type of place he was driving her too.

Not one of them had a clue what was going on, and at the current point in time that was exactly what Alice wanted. A part of her felt sick for what she was about to do, but she also knew that she would never forgive herself for not trying if anything happened to Bella.
Looking forward to the task at hand, Alice put on the helmet that Adam had tossed her way and got onto the motorcycle behind him. She absolutely hated the thought of riding in anything but an enclosed vehicle, but right now she had to put her fear aside. It was either this, or explain to Cailen what she was about to do. Her mother had always told her, "Sometimes it's better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission." Alice figured that this was one of those situations where that could ring true; Bella's life could very well be at stake. But how the hell am I going to explain this to Adam? While she was sure that she would receive less of a reaction if she had told Adam rather than Cailen (or any of the others, for that matter), it still did not feel like an easy task. It wasn't an easy task.
"At the next stop sign, turn left onto Morton, then head straight until you get to... Evergreen. It'll be the building at the very end of that road," she called out directions to him as he drove. Alice hoped that he wouldn't immediately recognize where she had directed for him to go.
Still, eventually she was going to need to explain to him why she wanted to go there. She almost thought that it was a good idea to explain it to him while he was driving, but she feared that if he opposed to the idea, he would stop and refuse to take her. At least if she waited until they reached their destination, she would already be there if he opposed to what she wanted to do.
Why would be oppose? It's not like he has that kind of money to just fork over. There's no way he has that sort of money just lying around. He'd want to do whatever he could to save Bella. Maybe this is it. Maybe this is the only way to save Bella. Alice tried to convince herself that everything was going to work out in a neat little pile. Of course, this was reality and she was not sure how they were actually going to pan out. She tried not to think about Bella, or the job she was about to take, or what the job was going to involve, or what everyone would think of her. She would be successful for a few moments, but the thoughts always came flooding back. I have to do this. I HAVE to do this. Bella could die. Tony could kill her. This could get him his money. Bella would be back safe and everything would be okay. Another thought pipped up inside of her mind. What would she think of herself if she did this to save Bella? Would she be able to look at herself in the mirror after a long shift of dancing in her underwear? Think of Bella. Bella is worth it. Bella is your friend. But what if the others couldn't look at her either? She had always been the innocent one... what if they started to think of her as a cheap slut who would do anything for a dollar. What if she thought of herself as cheap?
"Whatever happens. Promise me that you won't think I'm cheap?" Alice asked Adam almost without realizing that she was now speaking out loud instead of in her head.

' Not Indulgence...Not Alice.' It wasn't that his opinion of Alice's character would be threatened if she did this; indeed the only thing that might tamper that was if she genuinely enjoyed her...new job. The possibility that Alice was hoping for a job as a waitress passed through Adam's mind; but, he could not imagine her wasting the effort to conceal her 'location' if it was just waiting tables in a scandalous outfit. However, all hope of denying the reality in front of him fell away when Alice asked him to turn left on morton.
"At the next stop sign, turn left onto Morton, then head straight until you get to... Evergreen. It'll be the building at the very end of that road,"
It was her card...And she was going to use the money to save Bella. ' She's taking my place this time.' Adam wasn't sure if he could allow that; but, as much money as he would be able to scavange, it could take him a lot longer than this Tony was willing to wait...and he needed all the help he could get. Unfortunately there was no other option than to let Alice pursue this job; but not without talking about it.
"Whatever happens. Promise me that you won't think I'm cheap?" That was just the last straw; Adam couldn't put off talking any longer.
If I try and talk at the parking lot, she could walk inside and avoid all my questions.' Frowning beneath the helmet, Adam suddenly pulled the motorcycle beside the edge of Morton street and turned off the engine. The road was relatively quiet, so he figured he could just ask Alice outright here.
" Alice, can you grab the card in my coat pocket?" Adam turned his head to stare at Alice determinedly; no amusement or peace on his stone-like face. What she mentioned into his ear continued to gnaw at him, and he found he could not continue driving without addressing that particular question before she saw her card.
" Alice, I have to tell you something before I can answer your question. Because I know that if I ask you the same question now and you promise to not think me cheap, you wont mean it. Or you'll change your mind when you find out the hard way." He didn't mean to sound assumptive; but, it was genuinely what he believed right now. Putting the keys in his pants pocket as an added incentive to talk for a few minutes, Adam dismounted the bike and crossed his arms. Casually leaning against a fence post as his eyes never left Alice's face.

Alice began to curse inwardly for what she had done. If she had just kept her mouth shut there would not be this delay. A panicked feeling crept up inside of her, knowing that every second they were stopped was another second that Bella was with that...monster. It was still a bit of a ways to go to Indulgence if she were to walk, so Alice reluctantly decided that it would be best if she just talked with Adam for a bit to get it out of the way and then they could resume on their trip. Complying with the request to grab the card out of his pocket, Alice did not even bother to take a look down at the paper in her hand. She wanted to get this over with so that she could try to get the money for Tony.
"Alice, I have to tell you something before I can answer your question. Because I know that if I ask you the same question now and you promise to not think me cheap, you wont mean it. Or you'll change your mind when you find out the hard way."
Alice was unsure of where he was going with that statement. She grew more impatient. All she wanted to do was sign her dignity away in exchange for the cash to free her friend from the grips of Tony. No. That wasn't true. She didn't want to be signing away her dignity, but she wanted to save Bella.
"Adam...please," Alice begged, "can we just do this later? Think of Bella. Think where she might be right now. Think of what he might be doing to her...."
Despite the fact that she already knew her pleading would not stop Adam from having a conversation that he seemed bound and determined to have, she still felt the need to try. She started to feel as if she was the only one who was trying to do anything to help Bella. While that may or may not have been the truth, it was how she felt at the current moment. Without much warning a flash of anger uncharacteristic for Alice waved over her. Anger at Adam for stopping, anger at Tony for taking Bella and perhaps most importantly, anger at Cailen for letting his gambling problem get so out of hand in the first place. For a moment she said nothing, looking into Adam's eyes, waiting for him to say whatever it was that he had intended to tell her. In her silence, the anger grew. It poured throughout her body, growing. Alice was usually a calm person, perhaps not as quiet and calm as Skylar, but she was not known for Adam-like outbursts. That was, until her own volcanic eruption.
"ADAM! If you don't drive me where I ******** asked you to go, then I'll walk there MYSELF!" she hoped that would be the end of her outburst, but her mind still had things that needed to escape. "Am I the only person who cares about Bella right now? The others are just sitting around twiddling their ******** thumbs hoping that the police will just take the situation and solve it. How ******** long is that going to take? Sure, we won't have to fork over money and they'll just deliver Bella's dead body to us all wrapped up in a neat little bow!"
Alice's breathing became laboured with each word that passed from her lips. She couldn't believe that she was the one making all of this noise, but that did not seem to stop her from spewing out everything that had been on her mind for quite some time. That had always been a terrible habit for the girl. She often let things that were really bothering her bottle up inside until it came to the point where she burst at the seams, much like what was happening right now.
"This whole situation is ******** up! But at least I want to do something. I'm the one who's about to sign away my ******** dignity for who knows how long to get this money. I'm the one who's going to have to degrade myself by tearing off my clothes for perverted creepy old men because my ******** boyfriend didn't ******** listen to ANYBODY about his stupid damn gambling problem!" As she continued to speak, tears began to well up in her eyes. This situation was starting to feel all too familiar. The night that she had spent with Adam had begun with an outburst like this. She had started crying that night as well. She took a few steps away from him, to make it harder to him to attempt to comfort her in case he tried like he had done that night.
"Whatever you want to tell me. It can wait. If you don't get back on that motorcycle and take me to Indulgence, it will be YOUR fault if Bella dies. I'll never speak to you OR Cailen ever again! You both will have KILLED HER!!!" she shrieked in a tone she had not previously heard escape her before. As soon as she realized what she had just said her stomach churned with disgusted at what this situation had done to her. How dare she even insinuate that it would be the fault of anyone but Tony if the worst case scenario were to happen to Bella.
Leaning against the fence a few steps down from where Adam was doing the same thing, Alice allowed herself to flop downward onto the ground. Her head fell down into her lap as she flung her arms around it in an attempt to hide herself from the situation. She shielded herself as more tears poured themselves from her eyes. She wanted to will the entire situation away. Right now any passersby would probably assume that she had gone crazy with the way that she had just exploded, perhaps Adam had even felt the same way.
"I don't want to do this. I don't want this," Alice's tone had changed significantly from before. Now she was speaking in an almost inaudible whimper. "I want to save Bella... but I... I don't want it to be this way...." she cried.
