Rue nodded, impressed. "If the door opens outwards...and now the plumbing with the kitchen will line up," she said softly to herself. "Thank you," she said, looking up, "It isn't perfect, but it is certainly a start." She wasn't the best at the layout; her specialty lay in the aesthetic of it, not the practicality. Not to say that she wasn't practical, because she was good at it. Just that she excelled at the look of it all.

Ren grinned and blushed. "You're welcome, madamoiselle." he said, standing and straightening the sitting wrinkles out of his pants and vest. "And if you need anything else, just ask for Ren if you would like." he added, giving her a tiny wink before he could stop himself. And when he realized what he sounded like, he was mortified. Making his exit as smooth as possible, he headed for the kitchen, let the door shut quietly behind him, and sank to the floor againstthe wall.

Rue couldn't help but smile to herself at Ren. So similar to my name. He left before she had the chance to tell him. She folded the piece of paper from his notepad up and slid it into a pocket in her date book. She pushed it away for a moment, going back to finishing off her water, her soup, or what was left of it, having gotten cold. She'd give it to Selk if she could take it home with her.

Connor walked into the cafe. The little bell above the door dinged as he made his entrance. It wasn't his first time here and he was always interested to see who else was visiting the cafe. There seemed to be new faces each time. He waited in the waiting area by the front until a serving staff member came to greet and seat him.

Lilly walked over to Conner with a gentle smile. "Hello, Sir. Table for one?" She asked sweetly.

Connor smiled at Lilly and nodded. "Yes, please" he replied. He looked around at the scenery of the cafe. It always looked nice. The owner knew what he was doing.

"Right this way, sir." Lilly replied and led him to a booth near the window. She then set down a menu for him.

Connor took a look at the menu. He ordered a grilled chicken pannini and a glass of soda. He then handed the menu back to Lilly and requested a glass of water for while he waited.

"Yes sir." Lilly replied, taking his order. She then went back and handed the order to the cook. She then got a glass of water in the fancy glasses and also a glass of coke. She then delivered the two glasses to Connor. "You'll pannini will be out in a few minutes, sir." She told him.

Connor smiled. "Thank you" he said to Lilly. He took a sip of his water and then waited at the table for his food. He drummed his fingers on the table.
Hector stepped out of his office and began going around the cafe to see how everything was going. He spotted Lilly. "Is everything running smoothly?" he asked. He walked while holding his white gloved hands behind his back like he usually did.

"Yes. Everything seems to be fine. I'm just waiting for the customer's order right now." She replied.

"Ah, good. I'm glad to hear that. Keep up the good work" Hector said. He then went around checking on everyone and talking to some of the customers. He felt that they should have a friendly image. Give the customers a warm welcome so that they would feel at home every time they visited. To Hector, it was both a marketing idea and just to be nice.
