The thing about Todd was that he knew no one had it worse. Unless, of course, they died. His life story would make war heroes feel sorry. ♫Heidi saw the look Alec gave her and she was about to respond as she felt his finger under her chin, but then Shane got in the way. She listened to them bicker before Shane stepped in front of her and spoke in Italian. Her hands clenched into fists before she pushed Shane out of her way. "What the hell? You're acting like a real jerk! I can fight my own battles you know." she said. She was really pissed off now and didn't think twice about the question he asked her. She sort of knew what it meant, but she was not going to answer him. She looked up at Alec as she remembered his question. "Actually, yeah. I'd love to break some rules tonight. Starting with this one." she said as she took off her Monster hoodie to show the neon blue halter top she had on that showed her stomach. She threw her hoodie at Shane and glared at him. "I'll dress any way I want. And I'll sure as hell do whatever I want. I don't need you." she said as she looked at Alec.
She gave him a sexy grin before letting her hand twine with his. "Now, what shall we do first?" she asked him as she began to walk away, dragging Alec with her. She was incredibly upset by the way Shane acted. How he just barged in and tried to take over like that. She didn't want him getting into her business or messing with her social life. Though she couldn't help but look back at Shane, a hint of sadness in her eyes. She looked back at Alec and smiled, erasing the thoughts of Shane. No matter how much she thought she liked Shane, she would always know that the kiss they had was nothing more than them being drunk and stupid. That it meant nothing and there was no way he'd like her back. Not if she was nothing but a drunk and he had a whole life ahead of him. He could be something, but with her, well she would only drag him down.

Casey shook her head, standing up. Her usually so warm and soft blue eyes now were as cold and sharp as shards of ice. Shards of ice, piercing the boy's skin. Casey snapped a hair tie that was around her wrist, her temper flaring. She stood, feet placed like she was hitting for softball, her hands firmly on her hips. She looked down a the boy, the sun hitting er and casting a shadow of her near perfect figure. Never had it been so hard to get through to a kid! Casey tried to keep her voice from shaking, but it still wobbled a little bit.
"You think you have it bad? What about the kids who are hospitalized or even dead because they went through the exact thing you did? I may not have had as "bad" a life you did, but there are DEFINITELY others who have it worse! You try telling me your sob story and expect me to believe you have it the worst, let me tell you something. Ain't gonna happen. Look at those who were beaten and raped, and are sitting in a hospital bed on life support, or those who didn't even live to tell about it! When you finish feeling sorry for yourself and come to the realization that you're not the only person with so many goddamn problems, the oly one whose had a bad life, the only one with issues, and the one who says they have it the worst, you come find me!" Casey near shouted. Her temper had snapped, her nerves were fried. So what if she yelled at him? He'd still be stuck with her. And there'd be time for gentle coaxing later. This was the time for harsh realization.
Casey turned on her heel, and immediately saw Shane holding Heidi's hoodie. She then saw the teen with a blue halter that looked like a stripper would wear. Casey walked up to him, snatched the hoodie from Shane's arms, and then turned and shoved it into Heidi's hands. "I'm tired of your games! Put it on and cover up your slutty little body that matches your attitude!" Casey demanded. Who cared what Heidi thought of her? These kids were pushing her way too far. She'd gone through too much to let them get to her. She was angry. Very angry. These kids thought they were the only ones with troubles. Truth was, they weren't. They were sent to the camp for care that a lot of teens couldn't get because no one cared or they couldn't physically do it- they were hospitalized or dead. Casey turned and atomped to the flagpole, not waiting for any argument. She sat down and covered her face with her hands, so flustrated she couldn't even think. So far, so great. Casey thought miserably. She felt overwhelmed by the job of head counselor; she felt like she had to take care of ALL the teens. Casey ran her hands through her ponytail, shutting her eyes and ears and all senses from the outside world.

♫Heidi stood there as Casey handed her the hoodie and then she watched her storm off. She waited until Casey wasn't close enough to hear her before she started laughing hysterically. She loved how mad Casey was. It only let her know that she and the other teens could get to her if they pushed her enough. She decided to slip the hoodie back on anyway since she had her satisfaction of pissing off Casey. She then ran her fingers through her hair before continuing to walk off with Alec. "You know, at first, I thought I'd hate it here. But the longer I'm here, the more fun it is!" she said as she shook her head. She didn't know what happened to piss off Casey that bad, but she was definitely glad it happened. She'd probably just ask Todd about it later. That is, if he would talk to her. Todd seemed the kind of guy who took a while to trust you or even look at you. And that was fine with her. As long as he eventually joined her in all her mischief making. She was now determined to make this summer a hell for all the counselors.
She already knew that Alec was probably on board with her and Gail was possibly as well. Now all she needed was to get Todd to join in. Then they'd be like their own little gang against their counselors. Maybe if they're really lucky, they'll get kicked out and sent home early. She could only hope. The only reason she was here was because of her best friend worrying too much. Heidi knew when enough was enough when it came to drinking. She rarely actually got drunk. She would just drink a lot until she felt the buzz. It made her feel numb and at ease. As if all her worries were gone. And she had to admit, her life was ok. But it wasn't absolutely perfect either. The buzz fixed that. It fized everything.

He walked towards her, but was caught of guard as Casey stomped past him. His eyes settled on Todd, then Heidi. He immediately knew that Heidi was the one who caused the problems, but Todd had said something that irked Casey. Jake could easily tell; Todd was a quiet one, Heidi was outgoing and rebellious. He'd watch out for that one. The handsome boy's eyes then moved to Alec, and he could immediately tell what was wrong. A lethal drug as a mixture of methanphetamine and other drugs. Either way, it was bad. Very bad. Jake trained his senses on Alec, and headed toward him. He slowed midstep, an idea coming into his head. Instead, he walked casually past, pushing the door to the boys' cabin open. He immediately spotted the gooey orange liquid in a vaccination needle. He quickly grabbed it and removed the needle, pulling out a plastic bag and sealing it. He held both items clenched in his fists.
Jake walked back out of the cabin, this time heading behind it. He remembered seeing a dumpster behind the couselors' cabin. He headed that way, and quickly made it. He threw the needle into the trash, and just in case someone found it, he shattered the glass vial that held the liquid and it spilled all over. Jake then shut the dumpster, and walked back out. He spotted Casey sitting by the flagpole, seeming very frustrated. He sighed, knowing his old friend was having a rough time. He could just tell; after years of working with her father, getting to know her, he could tell when something has happened. Maybe not as good as a best friend could, but he could still see it pretty well. The tall, dark brunette walked over, his long strides carrying him quickly. He looked at her, questioning in his eyes. But when the brunette girl shook her head, he shrugged it off and patted her hand. He turned and continued through the camp. He watched Alec and Heidi carefully, then remembered about his own teen!
Jake directed his footsteps toward the girls' cabin. Gail Wood was his teen, if he remembered correctly. The twenty one year old counselor made it to the cabin and knocked lightly. Hopefully she'd answer. By the looks of the other teens, he didn't want to bust in. It would just be...inappropraite. He picked out the knife from his boot and opened up the blade, swirling it around his fingers until each of the fingers on his left hand looked like a f*cked up screwdriver. Blood dripped down his hand and arm, falling to the pavement. His eyes fluttered. There was no way he would stay longer. If he hurt himself enough, he'd be taken to a hospital. He'd be free. If that's what it took... Then that's what he'd do. ♫Heidi smiled at Alec as he put his arm around her shoulder and held her hand. She was liking Alec more and more. Maybe it was because he was so confident or maybe it was just how hot he was. She didn't care as long as he didn't let her go. She nodded when he motioned over to Todd and said they should go talk to him. "Yeah, maybe he can tell us why Casey's so pissed. And if he doesn't want to talk, well then we can just go cause mischeif." she said with a grin as she started walking over to where Todd was. She whistled out to get his attention before waving at him with her free hand.
"Hey Todd!" she called out to him before they reached him. She walked out into the middle of the empty road and sat down beside him before motioning Alec to sit down next to her. She noticed Todd's bloody hands, but didn't mention it. "So, what the hell did you do to piss of the counselor like that?" she asked him with a grin. She replayed Casey's storm of rage in her head especially the part when she had called her a slut. Heidi knew what she was and she definitely wasn't a slut. She just knew exactly how to piss people of the right way. If that meant acting like a slut well then she'd act like a slut. She didn't care what people thought of her. She just hated it when people tried to change her.

"No offense, but you're a bloody mess." she said as she hid her smile with her hand. She hoped he wouldn't get mad at her for saying that. She wasn't sure if he was one of those really sensitive guys or if he was the kind of guy that just didn't give a damn. She shook off the thoughts and looked back at him.
"Anyway, we we're wondering if you wanted to join us in causing some trouble. I'm sure there's something we haven't done to piss them off yet. But you don't have to if you don't want to! I just thought I should ask." she said as she bit her lip. She didn't know why she was trying to watch what she said. She shouldn't care. She hasn't really up to this point. Maybe it was because she could tell he was a pretty rough kid and that he seemed like he had a really crappy past. She wasn't going to ask him that though. She didn't like invading someone else's privacy because she hated it when people did that to her.
