Cicely peered through her lashes at Tsuna when his head resurfaced. She had moved to curl up on the cool ground after he had vanished beneath the surface, and had no desire to move yet.
"Which only baffles me. I'd think fire would avoid water."

Tsuna chuckled a bit. "ah I blame my phim side. You'll find I am very contradictory." he pointed out. "besides I can always retract the fire when ever I want. So why not like water. People always expect a flying creature to escape into the sky after all"

"That's because something made for flying isn't any good for swimming," Cicely pointed out. "I have yet to see any flying creature, yourself excepting, actually dive into the water to take a proper bath."

"Most dont because wet feathers make it impossible to fly. However I dont have any feathers so I can escape that little problem. Well I guess ducks, water fowl and sea gulls can fly after getting wet" Tsuna pondered.

Cicely shrugged and dabbed her paw in the water. She lightly flicked some water at Tsuna. "I can't imagine the wet makes things any easier, even for you."
She tilted her head, eyes slightly misted as she considered it. Maybe bat wings dried faster, but with big bodies covered in fur it would be a strain on the wings when the fur got soaked. She wasn't sure how much the water would weigh, but she guessed at least as much as her if the fur was completely soaked through.
These thoughts took only seconds to run through her head, and chased after yet more thoughts. Cicely actually enjoyed considering problems like this.

"I suppose.... but then again I am very dark so all I have to do is sit out in the sun and I'll be dry in a few minutes. So its not that big of a problem. A lighter colored Daeva might have some problems." Tsuna said emerging from the water. It was rather cold and unless he wanted to heat it up with his fire, not that he thought that would work, it was best to get out. he walked a little while away to shake off most of the excess water and make sure it didnt get all over Cicely."

"I am taking a nap," Cicely announced, the day's events catching up with her. "Don't wake me up unless your wing suddenly heals." That was more a warning to help Tsuna rather than harass him. When in unknown places or unusual situations, anytime she was awakened by any one/thing other herself she tended to do so violently.

Tsuna chuckled a bit at the vixen and decided he could probably do that. He knew from watching other poor individuals that it was not a good thing to awaken sleeping vixens. Besides it had been awhile since he had visited the island and he knew there were no predators around so it was fine to just leave her there for a second and go exploring. "What ever you wish princess" he rolled his eyes.

Cicely flicked her tail as if to say 'Shoo boy', but otherwise made no other movement or comment.
