Anila nodded. “Well I suppose that makes sense. I’m not part of a tribe so I’ve never had to think like that and wouldn’t even know what to look for in order to read someone.” She unconsciously took a paw and brushed her hair out of her eyes. It was quite impressive to her about the skills Mr. Morin had. Not only was he a good flier, but he was kind and gentle when teaching which was very important in Anila’s mind. “Yes there are advantages and disadvantages to everything. It’s finding them and learning about them that’s a pain.”

"well it mostly just comes from watching. You can tell foxes from the way they carry themselves and how they walk or fly. little subtle body movements. If they want to hide something or if they are a fighter, a predator or even dangerous it all shows up, or even the lack of any of those indicators is something to watch out for. It mostly comes from dangerous situations and hiding from different vantage points and watching things. You tend to hone the skill even more when working for a tribe but its not always necessary." Morin told her and then thought about her next comment. "yes it is a bit of a pain some times but some times its necessary its either learn or die. so you tend to lessen the harshness of training some times.

Rocking back Anila felt a bit overwhelmed. “So you try and pick apart every little thing a fox does in order to read them?” Anila nearly cringed. It just seemed like such a personal thing to do to someone that was a stranger. “What if the fox is nice but doesn’t seem like it or smart but pretends to be foolish? Passing judgment without having all the facts could be dangerous couldn’t it?” Silently Anila wondered how she would be read to someone who was looking at her. Well obviously I’m not a thread or Mr. Morin wouldn’t be talking to me. And I probably seem like a fool too since I can’t fly well. The line of thought brought a small blush to her cheeks but she kept the thoughts tightly packed down and did her best not to show her embarrassment.

"No its not picking a part. Its more watching them for a time before passing judgmental. You cant hide everything and if you can that sends up warning bells. I suppose you have a point as well, but if I didnt watch foxes and pick them apart they laughed at me and bullied me and beat me up. I told you before how for the longest time I couldn't fly. So don't be embarrassed at your lack of" Morin stated having guessed from the way she was blushing and had a small almost unnoticeable trace of being embarrassed. "Even now many people want to find out where my tribe is and take revenge or hurt them. I need to be excellent at what I do so I can persuade them to do otherwise."

Anila shook her head. Morin hadn’t told her that he couldn’t fly when he was younger. She was about to ask about it a bit but her stomach interrupted her loudly. She still hadn’t eaten and her body was not happy with her because of it. She set the berries and herbs down and looked at the fish Morin had set aside. “Well shall we eat fist then I can practice gliding a bit more before I leave so you can get back to your scouting duties?” The fact Morin was part of a band of thieves didn’t make her think about the tribe badly. Morin was kind and he was a good friend and teacher. The other members of the tribe must be good to some degree as well.

"There is no need to get back to scouting... but I am sure you have places to go to as well" Morin stated. he couldn't talk to the modeities as well as an elder could but he could here whispers and vague ideas. It was enough to know that the land was free of any intruders. "However it is a good plan. Even though you wont be cured over night I'll expect you some where on harami borders with in a couple of weeks and I'll give you the next lesson" If there was one thing he truly hated in the world it was leaving things unfinished. He was sure Anila was going to fly again because he had put his mind to teaching her.

“Oh I suppose I should get back to Marcus.” Anila grinned and fidgeted. “He is very sweet and kind, but also protective.” The image of Marcus and a longing to return to him filled Anila as she thought of him. “Don’t worry though. I’ll be back again soon. I want to learn how to fly and then show Marcus.” A girlish giggle escaped Anila and she looked at Morin glad she had a teacher she could count on. She wagged her tail and leaned down and grabbed a mouthful of food and started to munch down so she had the energy to move later..
