((Basicly a foo-foo finicky girl who whines about ruining her nails/hair/makeup/etc all the time XD ))

Sitara froze, only her tail twitching in irritation. Looking around, the first thing she caught sight of was a large pine cone. Whipping around, she scooped it up in her paw and slammed it through the air at him. "I am not like those silly, useless, bipedal females!" She growled. She looked around for more ammunition and started chucking the various pine cones at the smaller fox.

Maybe a biiiit too late Dakari realized this was one of the times he should have kept his mouth shut. Or at least softened his words. But then he was Dakari, so trouble via his mouth came with the territory. And thankfully he was right, he was very quick on his feet.
"I said your aim was like that, not you yourself," Dakari protested, dodging around as several hard green and brown objects went whizzing by his head. Unfortunately her wing injury didn't seem to have affected her stamina, so Sitara managed to near blanket the ground around him with the stupid projectiles.
Which is how Dakari slipped and took one pinecone to the base of his ear and the other directly on his nose. Without a yelp, he was proud to say. That was his story, and he was sticking to it!
It was at this point that Dakari decided it would probably be wise to swallow his pride and run. And so he did, vanishing into the trees and weaving for all he was worth just in case Sitara kept after him with those cones!

Sitara chased the smaller fox, tossing cones after him until she reached the edge of the trees. Stopping, she growled one more time before huffing and heading back to the water. She'd managed to get him a couple of times and her irritation was waning. "Bah." She wondered if she should go in after him, but if she got misplaced again...no, better to let him come back to her.
Besides, it gave her more of a chance to calm down. Though she was quickly moving from irritated to amused. Honestly, Dakari was the only one who could really get away with that. Though this time he went overboard. Sitara lay in a patch of sun and dozed, waiting for her companion to come back.

Dakari returned about half an hour later. He figured that would have been long enough to give his companion time to cool down, though hopefully she hadn't wandered too far after him and gotten lost again. Sitara's sense of direction was worse than her aim, in Dakari's opinion. At least in forests.
Thankfully it seemed she'd stayed to wait for him. Dakari chuckled; the Daeva was curled up in a patch of sunlight and appeared to be completely out. He padded over and laid down close to her, curling up and keeping an eye out so she could sleep in safety.

Sitara barely woke up when Dakari lay next to her, since she was so familiar with his scent. She merely turned her head a bit and claimed Dakari's tail as her pillow again, curling her own tail around the both of them. Giving a small sigh, she sank straight back into sleep.
