"Well, uh, when I was last conscious it was the pirate girl and the skinwalker, the acid monster, the monster girl with the hair, that Neck girl, the werewolf and a couple of other ghosts that were left. I think. Did I forget someone?" Her head still felt sort of fuzzy from the blow, and it wasn't like they'd ever had an introductory round or anything.

Did they want an update on what was going on? Perlie couldn't blame them - it must've been awful to be shut away without any idea of what was going on. What if the attackers got all the others and went for them again? Which reminded her.. "Oh! Do any of you guys know anything about, um, visions?"

While Belladonna didn't necessarily understand what was being said by the small cat, she did know he was trying to make her feel better and that was more than enough.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Zwei." She said, wishing she could bow her head, or heaven forbid a small curtsy! Whatever introductory politeness she wished to bestow would have to wait until someone could pump some FEAR into her, or at least until her limbs stopped feeling so damn heavy. When Faint looked at the cat, and made his little noise toward it, she couldn't help but feel comforted by that.

"Your bruises will heal. If you use mugwort, they'll heal faster." She offered him, glad to have others nearby who cared. Yet when the ghost awoke and began talking, Belladonna grew quiet to listen. But when the girl spoke of the monster with the hair she jumped in her bed a little and of course when she asked about visions Belladonna would have leapt from the bed if it were possible.

"You mean Kasumi?! Is she ok?!" She tried to wiggle enough to situp, but she was just too heavy, so she instead swung her head in the direction of the girl. "I know about visions. What do you want to know of them?" One finger managed to be raised to pet Zwei, so for Jack she was extremely grateful.

"I think she's OK?" Perlie wasn't entirely sure who out of the remaining passengers Kasumi was, but it seemed like she'd been the only one to get hurt in this attack so it was pretty safe to say that Kasumi, whoever she was, was okay.

"And the visions.. is it possible to, uh, focus them on something specific, I guess? The monster girl, the one with the hair, she said she was able to see who the attackers were. She said she could see it through visions, who's innocent and who's not." It all still sounded very suspicious to the poltergeist so she wasn't sure how much stock exactly she'd put on the girl's words, but it was still a possibility.

With a little flinch, Jack turned his pumpkin'd head to Perlie, frowning a little. Visions, he did not have, but he sure had some pretty edged feelings towards people, one way or another. Giving a little snort, he rocked his elevated leg a little, his tail flicking on the ground left and right, before deciding to out with it, since someone had ruined the surprise.

"I can honestly understand where she is going." he murmured, quietly. Before turning to Puck, and shrugging."I guess so. Seems it's less uncommon than I thought, I thought I was going crazy or something. All these feelings about around me was getting a little overwhelming."In fact, it made the cat god's head ache sometimes, when there were little things about those he had . . . felt out. "I was very adament about sending the inugami with his book - Haku was it - away, because he didn't feel threatening, you know?"

--

Zwei, on the other hand, couldn't give a rat's a** about the whole situation, only caring that his companion got out of this with all limbs attached still. But, there was nothing wrong with this, being pampered by a witch, even if it was just a finger against his blue-grey fur.

Raising his gaze, Zwei nodded softly and blinked to Faint. He was terrible with tiger - Eins was much better at feral languages, but he understood the prusten at least. It was good to have an ally, of a sort.

"You too?" She looked at him like he was going crazy. "Although I suppose the way you're saying it sounds a bit less.. insane than the way she said it." Sure, this was Halloweentown, but Kasumi's visions had been oddly specific, at least in Perlie's mind. "And you're not standing on a chair and calling yourself a mole, which is a plus too."

Salali furrowed her brows, immediately confused. Visions? And then of course, because she had established herself into a metaphor before, Perlie's new information was sending her off in the wrong direction. Or was it? "No, we're all moles. Well, perhaps I'm a squirrel. And there is still a fox...but...is she really a mole? If she has visions, is she a sparrow? Can she really see what moles cannot see?" It seemed an odd idea, but then...so was the idea of students attacking other students.

Cooper couldn't see who had been brought in, though he could hear the conversation well enough. Grimacing, he tried to sit up, but his limbs refused to co-operate. He gave up, sulking, but was quickly distracted by Jack's revelation.

Visions? Or... hunches? That could tell you if a person were innocent or not? Sounded dubious, but if the attackers were able to bypass the FEAR dampers on the train, maybe whatever they were doing gave off some sort of signal to people?

"Doyouhavetobeinthesamecar?" he asked, trying to talk in the general direction he'd heard Jack's voice come from. "Canyousenseanythingfromhere?"

Akihiko was curious about this talk on visions and feelings. Maybe there was something to it, he simply sat there and listened still wondering where the Raptor boy went. His eyes shifting from Salali and her talk of moles to Jack, where they stayed. A violent cough shot through him. "Ugg."

Oh. It was the annoying one. The poltergeist who just didn't shut up.
Well, thought Balumf, I guess shes innocent too. Unfortunately.
She listened carefully. Visions? So at least SOMEone knew SOMEthing about what was going on.
Or two people did, if what the cat-man said was correct.
"But... If the... Foxes... Aren't attacking us here, or those in the other cart, perhaps that means they can't move through the FEAR-locks on the doors... So maybe the visions cannot either?"
Also, why sparrows? Sparrows would be hard for a fox to get, and it seemed that that wasn't a good analogy.

A darker thought approached.
"Or maybe they ARE after someone specific... For some reason we cannot guess."
She thought some more. Maybe her gills were adjusting, and oxygen was getting to her brain. Or she was going mad. Either or. It wasn't going to matter much later anyway.
"Actually, those of us hit by the Witch's spell and the horse's hooves... We were accidental, I would say. But theres someone there who is more sneaky than the other two. Those two were brasher and bolder. I don't think witch nor horse could cut, or sap energy, or strangle so quietly. Though... Poison is likely, but why didn't the witch actually poison us with her cookies, and instead stuck pumpkins on our heads and hands?"
"Which means that theres someone in there that can use poison and claws and energy. I wonder if there are four foxes, not just three?"
Balumf gestures in the general direction she thinks Perlie is. Ugh. She was wrong, she was feeling woozy again. Maybe she had fallen asleep without knowing it or something or something or something... Ugh. Her head...
"Uh, you... Did she talk about the visions at all?"
she managed to get out, each syllable sounding croakier than the one before, before she lay back down, crushed gills working to keep up.
She had talked too long... she needed a rest...

"I don't know. It all sounded sort of suspicious to me - could've been a ploy to get us off her track, see? We were accusing her of being the attacker when it happened, after all." Perlie wasn't quite sure she'd actually gotten the gist of what Salali had been trying to say, but she tried to answer the best she could all the same. And hoped they were actually having the same conversation.

Turning to Balumf (or what she thought was the general direction of Balumf's voice, anyway), she nodded: "Yeah, she talked about the visions a bit. Sounded whack, but some of the others seemed to believe her. She said she'd narrowed it down to six possible culprits, including me - and so much for that - and that Vic and Oliver were both innocent. That's the pirate and the acid monster, mind." Had she mentioned anyone else?

"I think she also said that, um, Faint, Belladonna, Salali, Jack and Faust were innocent, but I might have missed someone?" Truthfully Perlie hadn't put much stock in the supposed seer's words, so she wasn't entirely sure she'd gotten all the names right. Ah well.

"No wicked foxes here- ahhh..." Puck flinched and tried ineffectually to grab the edges of his bed as the train slowed. "Is we- we made it?" He squinted through the pumpkin mask. "Made it safe to cozy foxless den."

The poltergeist beamed under his pumpkin, then folded his arms behind his head and leaned back against them with every sign of contentment. No doubt he'd soon be eating delicious pumpkin pie.

Kasumi grumbled and turned over, eyes blinking her vision back into focus. Where was she? Oh... yes, of course she would have been next. All around her, the injured were laying on beds just like her, talking amongst themselves. She felt weak and weary, scrunching her face together as the events played out in her head. She announced Lumidee as an innocent and after that... what happened? She didn't even see her attacker. She hoped everyone else did, though. She narrowed it down as much as she could.

Groggily, she tried to sit up and fell back down weakly. "Is... is everyone alright?" she wheezed. "Belladonna...?"
