Hi all. Found this invite in my box this morning. (Thank-you Eylios) I don't tend to join writing groups much - Nanowrimo and Script Frenzy being the exceptions. But I like the sound of the guild so I'm going to give it a try. I tend to flit in and out of groups and boards, but I always tend to come back. I'm trying to be good about not disappearing on people for long stretches.
I can probably guarantee I'm the oldest person here. Well past school. I have a job, apartment, a car, etc. Writing is the hobby that keeps me sane. There was a vague dream at one point of getting published, but I haven't had the opportunity to even try. So I post my writing on the web, and hope people enjoy it.
I write fanfiction as well as original pieces, mostly fantasy and sci-fi. You might know me on ff.net as Han Xiang, or on Scriptfrenzy and Nanowrimo as Scuzzimei. I also started producing Radio Plays I post on Youtube. The account there is Scuzzimei, though the plays are listed as being made by MeiMei Productions. On Gaia my screenname is Xiao Xianyu. I'll respond to any of them. smile

What's up people??? Ya'll can call me Angel. I'm from the States, and I'm a total derk (dork, nerd, geek). I love food. My favorite is taco salad. Yummy. I'm addicted to roleplaying. Who wouldn't be? It's just awesome like that. I act a little younger then I am, and I'm very random. Fun fun. ^^ I usually aim for the EPIC WIN, most of the time, I get it. Yay. I'm kinda blind, even with my glasses on. So, if I don't see something right away, please don't yell at me, I get that enough. O-o I'm kinda forgetful, so if I forget about something, feel free to PM me about it. (: Any books you guys read that you want to recomend, go ahead, I'll try to locate it. ^^ Well, now you know about me . . . At least a little. If you want to know more, just ask.

Hi, I'm xFallenMisery, but by all means feel free to call me Mid, Middy, or any variation of my username.
I've been writing for a few years and like sci-fi. I'm planning to enter NaNoWriMo this year and hope to someday be published. This guild sounds nice; I'd love to expand more on my world and characters.
Oh aaaaaand I'm in the middle of reading The Roar by Emma Clayton. It's good. maybe reading it will get me to start writing more again...

Hey there! I'm Exdraghunt, ya'll can call me Exd or Ed. I'm eighteen, freshman in at Cornish College of the Arts. (Art college FTW!) Native Seattlite and lover of rain.
I write all the time in my spare time, mostly modern supernatural fiction, and RP quite a bit as well. Have an RP going? Invite me, I'll probably join.
I'm a total classic car nut, so most of the stuff I write probably has something to do with cars or motorcycles, as well as the supernatural. It's interesting, to say the least.

Hello I'm Kurisuti-na Akira, but may call me Kuri, or Ligia, I'll answer to either.
Noticed the invite yesterday but was only able to take a real look around just now. I've never really gotten to serious about writing, I have written a few short stories, and I love writing poetry mostly Haiku's. enjoy making rp's, mostly just to come up with a plot, then making the character's profile. Most of my rp's die before they even start, haven't figured out why yet. I have tried writing one fantasy though it hasn't gone very far, and I keep trashing it and starting over, maybe here I will be able to actually finish it. smile

Welcome Kuri, Exd, Middy, and everyone else! ^_^
@Exd - My first thought when you described your story was On a Pale Hose by Piers Anthony. I should reread that one, and then finally move onto the other books in the series. XD
Oh, and if anyone is starting an RP, feel free to link me to it. Even if I don't join I'll try to pimp it out to people who might be interested. rofl

Sami, be careful what you say around whom. I'm in three roleplaying guilds, and two roleplays in the forums. I just might take you up on that offer.

You can send me some of those links, too, Eylios. I'm in need of some roleplays right now.

I happen to not like writing in script, nor do I have any lyrical inclination, soooo.... me, personally, no.

Hey everyone! Thanks for the invite, Eyl. Glad to see some familiar and new faces around here.
Hmm... what can I say that relates to reading/writing? Well, I like reading all kinds of stories, and my favorite genre is historical fiction both in reading/writing as well as in RPing. I remember this one story I read many years ago for fun when I was still in elementary school. It was about a teenage girl who lived in New York during the American Revolution, and her mom wanted to send a secret message to the Continental Army via hiding it within a freshly baked bread. She dressed up as a guy to have an easier time to get through all the things in her way. Unfortunately, I don't remember the title of the story.
