Ⱦeam Ðaɍksţaɍ ~✭  XXX XXX XXXXXXX—¤÷(`Nadia & Vincent & Luke ´)÷¤— Nadia blinked as the Flareon started to race around the room in a fast rate, almost invincible. "WATCH OUT!!" Vincent warned the Poochyena by the time a few coins hurled at their direction. Apparently, she wasn't the greatest at dodging, most of the time. The Abra shielded her and Luke with a Reflect shield. The coins then bounced off the shield and onto the Flareon's direction. "Umm..thanks." The Poochyena thanked.
The three then noticed about the other guild members. Two was in a cage, the Flareon took a Lucario's mask, and another one became quite insane. That Flareon could steal everything, literally. "Watch out for that Flareon. He is quite a thief." Luke said. "Yeah, we know that." Vincent replied.
Luke danced Swords Dance before lunged at the Flareon with a Quick Attack to catch up to his speed. Nadia soon jumped into action as the shield slowly faded. She Shadow Forced herself in front of the Flareon and attacked him followed by a Poison Tail.

   Noelle & Odyssey & DashA silent nod between the Vaporeon and the Lucario, and the two were off in separate directions, going to attack Greed from both sides with a ranged attack. They ignored dash for now, because he was still lying on the ground. Their plan set into action, Noelle took the left side and Odyssey the right. The Lucario charged up an Aura Sphere as Noelle gathered up power for a Hydro Pump, and they counted down together and hit the Flareon from both sides. "Nice. That must've hurt." She commented, proud of their combined power. Out of nowhere, Dash appeared next to Noelle, his hands up in the air. "PSI THUNDER OMEGA!" He shouted, shooting electricity out of his cheeks towards the Flareon. After the attack, his fur crackled, and he fell to the ground, knocked out, his eyes half-open, his leg twitching and drool coming out of his mouth. Noelle shrugged. He would be fine. She dragged him to the sidelines to recover from that stupid attack and jumped back into battle. [ Greed -4 ]

 ZoriZori darted forward, her leafy ears pressed flat against her skull. With a sharp hiss of anger, she leaped at the Flareon, lifting her forepaws and swinging them down hard across the Eeveelution's face. Her Crush Claw might not have been super-effective, but it was certainly powerful enough to do damage. She twisted her body on landing, her paws slipping on the golden coins.
She fell onto her side, slicing at the Flareon as she fell with a Leaf Blade. As she hit the ground, the air rushed from her lungs, and the breathless Grass-type struggled onto her paws, ducking away before the Flareon could get a decent hit in.
She felt so grateful for the pendant about her neck; if it were not for the pendant, this battle had the potential to be deadly for her, without the pendant, and she knew it.

ZoriZori shrieked in pain as the flame-covered claws tore the Soothe Globe from her neck, the flames leaping at her, and burning across her leafy ears. Her terrified, pain-filled shriek echoed throughout the gold-filled room as the fire nipped at her body, spreading fast across her fur.
It burned! Oh Arceus, it burned! Her golden eyes were glazed with pain as she thrashed about in the golden coins, trying to extinguish the flames.
She couldn't help but mentally berate herself for not having any sort of Water-based magic within her. A Soothe Globe meant nothing if she didn't wear it.

   ~ Armand~ Veronica~ Jasper~ A screech suddenly tore through the room made of gold and halted all attacks from Team Lunar Curtain. Even Jasper, who had been intent on sending that horrible Flareon even deeper into the depths of hell, stopped his Mud Shot to search for the sound of the noise. Veronica was the first to spot it. A Leafeon of rather odd coloring, screaming, and on fire! "s**t! Hold on!" Running as fast as her stubby little legs would take her, she rushed to Zori's side. Taking no second thoughts about completely covering her in a Sandstorm, smothering the flames under the pure force of all the sand. Hopefully, it had done more good than harm. Reassured that the Leafeon was being taken care of, Jasper resumed his furious barrage of Mud Shot. Armand, his Ominous wind. Veronica stayed with Zori to make sure she would pull through.

Raven scowled as he watched his sister make a direct attack at the enemy, only ending up grabbing his attention and anger in the process. Throughout this battle he knew well enough due to both of their type disadvantages to just stay back and play from the sidelines when he could. Things only getting progressively worse as he watched on; the Lucario felt hopeless to the situation considering the strength and agility of Green but none-the-less he now had to put his a** on the line anyway. Though the enemy was still in the vicinity he raced for his flailing sibling and quickly proceeded to practically dive bomb on top of her. Their difference in stature helping out significantly as his own body locked over hers in attempt to extinguish the flames how an emergency blanket would act by cutting off the oxygen supply. Despite suffering a few burns from this himself it was the best effort he could give to managing the situation.
Kewnew kept up her barrage of attacks, while Wyatt still remained useless for the time being as long as the room debilitated him. Though it seemed multiple members of their guild were in peril, it seemed more logical to take care of the enemy first before running off to solve the troubles that he had caused.(Screw it, not editing. At least the surplus of Zori rescuers can be awkward in the end.) -1

    Serrin & Tolin & Albus & LauraHe could steal minds? Now that's something to avoid. At the very least, Tolin didn't appreciate the idea of going Orion-senile. He valued his mind. Of course, any sane person did; the ability to function cognitively was an important one. The insane Glaceon that darted around the room as often as his mood was good proof of that. That was reason enough for Tolin to stay back. He valued a great many things; each was too precious for him to lose. Especially in such a one-sided fight; Greed wouldn't be able to stand for much longer in spite of his fast movement. Albus hopped back carefully when the claw shot forward. He acutely felt the disappearance of his plate as each hooked claw pulled back. " You little...!" His fangs were bared when he noticed something distinctly off. He had taken that Leafeon's globe a moment ago, but he didn't have Albus's zap plate on him anywhere. There was no pain to suggest it had been removed from it's icy position, either. He carefully stepped backwards and rested on his hind legs as his paw hesitantly reached for his neck. A slow dread filled him as his heart raced. Why? The plate was still there. He could feel it. His nails traced out the inscription through the cloth that he had so carefully memorized. It was still plastered firmly against his neck. But... Why couldn't he feel it? It was there. It was always there. It had to be there. That dim connection to Arceus that he always felt. The reassurance of all that he was, had been and could be. Why... wasn't it there? " This is..." He stressed the conduit. " You couldn't..." He stressed it further. He forced it. He reached out, hoping to cling to whatever he could find. His eyes narrowed sharply as the Flareon darted around the room, giggling hysterically. " You wouldn't dare..." There was nothing at the other end. Rather, it was almost as if it were snapped in half like a cheap pipe. Whatever he tried to push just leaked out. Albus blinked back the tears in his eyes. There wasn't time for that. If he kills him, he might get it back. If Greed dies, it might return to him. Albus would cling to that thought. He had to. It was better than breaking down and accepting defeat. A quiet whisper escaped his lips. There was no doubt it was too quiet for Greed to even hear. " I'm going to murder you for this." Albus shot off like a lightning bolt. His fur puffed out in an instant and the piece against his neck began to hiss as the water evaporated in an instant. Electricity gathered in his fur before launching in an arc. Albus sprinted after Greed with water already leaking from his mouth. Hydro Pump was followed by Water Pulse even as fragments of ice formed in midair and rained down on it's intended target. He didn't waste the chance. Whether or not he hit was irrelevant. He didn't want something as empty as "death by water cannon". He wanted something more up close. Something personal. His steps accelerated into a Quick Attack as he sped after the Flareon, fangs bared. A strong tackle might deck the hopefully distracted Greed. A pair of fangs at his throat might kill him. Laura, meanwhile, watched in awe. This was the Albus she had first seen months ago on the fields near Rebirth. This is what had drawn her far away from her own guild. He was a majestic figure when he was angry. Pure anger and rage directed at whatever had crossed him... A perfect fusion of speed, power, utility and primal instinct. It made her shudder to watch him attack how he did. She hadn't thought she would see it again.  MarcusMarcus and Serrin continued playing in the gold, blissfully unaware of what was going on. What? They're children. They're more interested in shiny things than the BATTLE TO THE DEATH going on around them. ((Lightning, Hydro Pump, Water Pulse, Icicle Spear, Quick Attack and Bite. -8 if they all hit. Of course, if the bite hits, Greed will be dead because Albus will have torn out his windpipe.))

      Amaterasu && Morana && Incultyr && Chase && Zosee && ZeroAmaterasu poured more water over Greed! Morana skidded to a stop next to Zero, eyes wide. Oh god, what had happened to big brother!? She could tell he was Overheating; she's seen him like this once before. She looked up to see the Magikarp doing what he could to save him, and nodded a thanks to the Pichu who wished for his health. She lowered her head, opened her mouth, an a multicoloured beam of coldness washed over her older brother, freezing the Aqua Ring momentarily before the heat from his body melted it. Taking in another deep breath, she continued with her Aurora Beam. Chase got to her side and immediately placed a Safeguard on the Glaceon. Incultyr was still trying to get there with his short stubby legs. Zosee caught herself immediately, flipping in midair and landing firmly on her feet. By then Greed had run off, stealing more precious possessions. Baring her teeth, Zosee zoomed after the Flareon, quick as a blur. Her target suddenly lurched to the side when another Flareon tackled it -was that Atra?- and she veered to the side after him. The bluish Flareon was trying to get his jaws around the thief's throat, and Zosee leaped over him, onto the black and white fire-type. Her body let out a blast of lightning, and she channelled all of it into Greed, letting out all of her electricity reserves. She stopped to roar, her mind a furious rage that wanted nothing more than this thing's death. She lowered her jaws and went in for the kill. (-...eh, whatever. Suffice to say, he's below 0 HP)

Amaterasu && Morana && Incultyr && Chase && Zosee && Zero Zosee landed on her feet as Greed disappeared beneath her. Immediately, she turned and ran back to her mate, pushing her way past Morana. Zero's temperature had come down from the combined efforts of everyone, and his eyes slowly flickered open. All about him was a thin layer of white frost, remnants of Morana's Aurora Beams. Zosee wasn't going to question where her little sister learned an ice-type move; she was just really thankful for it. "Zero...are you OK?" She whispered, lowering her head to nuzzle her mate. Zero blinked, shrugging off the ice as she began to get back onto his feet. "Zosee..." He murmured, and the Manectric's face brightened; Zero was back! "It's so...beautiful." He whispered with awe, his eyes glazed over as he stared out at the walls. Zosee's face crinkled with confusion; Zero wouldn't care about all the riches piled here...would he? "Thank you so much for bringing me here Zose." He closed his eyes and leaned to the side, as if nuzzling an invisible figure. Zosee watched in shock, and she made a strange sound in her throat. She was strangling back sobs. She finally knew where Zero is, and it wasn't here in the present. Zero jumped with a start, leaping back, eyes wide as he stared down at himself. Several moments of this later, he tripped over his own legs and ended up sprawled on the ground with his limbs all mixed up together. "Whoa Zose! Did you see that! I- uh...what happpened!?" There was a short pause, as he stared up blankly at someone who was not there. "...evolved...?" Zosee leaped forward, being able to take no more of this, wrapping Zero in a tight hug. She sent the both of them crashing to the ground. "No, Zero, don't do this to me, come back...love, please, don't..." Her voice was taking an edge of hysterics, and she finally broke out into sobbing. Morana stared at this, trembling, fearing for her older brother. The Houndour turned back, looking from Jasper to Alfred, to Solaris and Orion. "I...we need to get them back to the guild." She pleaded.

That mask had been given to him by someone very special.
He glared at the Jasper Reaper when the dead Raichu made a comment.

"I was so scared!" He cried, resting his face on the Kabutops' chest.

  Imiti--- CelsusImiti stood up to give the others space around Zero, and, without giving any sign of it, sent a mental probe to try to assess the situation. Nothing. That meant that either Zero was completely unconscious, which was obviously not the case, or he still had his defenses up. Either way, it was a futile effort. He looked towards the more powerful psychics in the area, specifically Orion and Alfred, to come up with a solution. While he didn't care for Zero a lot more than, say, a stranger that had witnessed a crime would care for the victim, Imiti wasn't exactly the type to abandon hope in any situation. Celsus, meanwhile, was sustaining the Aqua Ring. Fellow guildmembers were always good to keep around.

Noelle & Odyssey & DashNoelle and Odyssey moved away from the main crowd of the guild who was around Zero. They watched from afar and blinked in surprise. All these people hurt, mentally and physically. They were lucky nothing had happened to them. "HI! That was fun. I like fighting!" Dash popped up from behind the two. Odyssey flinched and got into a battle pose by instinct, and Noelle 'eep'ed and flattened her ears. She smacked slightly charred Dash upside the head for scaring them. He fell to the ground with a thud, but before long he was p again. "HA! You thought I was dead, didn't you!" He rolled on the ground laughing. Odyssey shushed Dash harshly, and he frowned and sat down with his arms crossed. Noelle saw another portal open, but didn't even think about going into it until everything in this golden room was settled.

Era & Ethfael When Greed was defeated, both Era and Ethfael breathed a sigh of relief. He couldn't steal anything else precious to anyone now. Era focused her attention on Zero again who, although he was doing better, still seemed a bit off mentally. Watching from a distance, Era saw the exchange between Zero and Zosee which ended in tears, and couldn't help feeling a pang of sorrow for the both of them. No one wants to lose their mind, but it affects those who know them best most greatly, and in this case, all sides were hurt. "Why couldn't someone have done something to avoid this?" Era said glumly to her partner who watched silently beside her.
Ethfael shook his head, "We couldn't have done anything about it," he said, "It was no one's fault that something like this could happen. Only a truly powerful Psychic could have foreseen something like that." As the Houndour spoke to the Guildmasters about returning Zero and Zosee to safety they waited in suspense, a sense of gloom hanging over them. Another portal gleaming menacingly in the distance, and Era shuddered as she wondered what horrors lay beyond it's gleaming image.
