The men stared at their "enemies" as they continued to hold out a sandwich half in one hand and take a bite out of the other half. If they were indeed poisoned then the men were ingesting the poison themselves. "We've already said we are on break, if you do wish to fight us then you will have to wait until we are finished eating. It would be easier if you were to eat with us." The largest of the men said as he chewed on his bite as well as dodging backward away from the boy's kunai.

The leader spoke immediately after his large friend was finished, "I was told by my leader that you young lass were to be extracted and to join our ranks. He says the lack of genjutsu ninja is sickening, he wants you to learn and to help us overthrow your Tanto-sama." The leader moved his focus onto Akeru, not the illusion but where Akeru's actual body was. "So how about it? You and your comrades said it yourself that you do not like the man, and just how strong is a man that doesn't even have the respect of his soldiers. There is a man worthy of respect that we plan to place in that position."

"That's not true miss, Tanto is a fool for doing such a thing to a young lass like yourself. Then again, he is only afraid of your power, he is truly weak against Genjutsu." The leader spoke loudly as he kept his eyes on Akeru, she was truly a strong asset that would bring about the liberation of the Sand Village. "However, it is not only you that we wish to invite to our ranks..." The men all looked at their younger opponents, "we wish to only overthrow Tanto and put a rightful leader in his place. To do so we will need all your help. Every single one of you can save the sand village from the tyrant that sits on the throne. So what say you? Do you join us?"

Ito thought for a moment, "Well it looks like we don't have a choice. We join them, or we get attacked and we are screwed."
Ito moved closer to Akeru and started to speak, "Ya....... I'm in." The look on Ito's face was one of an internal struggle, follow and obey the village leader who he didn't like that much, or follow this group that you know almost nothing about and that you don't trust to take the kage down. Ito turned to the other two teammates. "Guys we really don't have a choice right now, just come with us."

Ito walked towards Kazu and spoke softly in Kazu's ear. "Listen I can tell Akeru is serious, she already didn't like us so if we do not go with her, who is to say she won't kill us like that." Ito snaped his finger. "My point is we are out matched and out classed here, this is one of those live to fight another day situations, I am against this but like I said its the only way to survive........ and possibly the only way to save the kazekage." Ito was saying this to Kazu quietly enough for only Kazu to hear him.

The leader of the group stepped forward and spoke, "I dun think you undastood us, we aren't attacking the village, we are overthrowing yer horrible leader and replacing 'im with someone that will treat erryone nicely and not be biased." The man wanted Kazu to understand that not a single person besides Tanto would be harmed. That they needed to hold Tanto responsible for his actions instead of letting him continue his bad leadership.

The largest male in the group stepped forward and yelled at Kazu who was not seeing the bigger picture. "LISTEN YOU DOLT! Do you think we would attack a ******** village? Hell no, the village is on our side, a majority of the upper shinobi agree with us and have joined our ranks. Hell, I'm not amazed that they didn't tell you, because obviously you cannot think past an academy level." The man insulted Kazu's intelligence and deductive skills while spewing out bits of his lunch.

"Kazu you have to admit they make a good point. Tanto has not done anything to help the village, he didn't even want to be Kage. He was thrown into the position because the village needed to have a kage. The only thing that has happened since he was Kage was the one tailed demon spirit has returned and made a mess of the chunnin exams last year, then I heard that he banished the demon host from the village; now he has gone rouge or something." Ito turned to the rebles, "Is there any way to get Tanto out of power with out killing him? I mean there has to be some peaceful solution."

As Kazu called her and Ito traitors, Akeru didn't seem to be phased by it at all. She had been called plenty of things in her life, and traitor would be on the nice side. Plus, her original plan had been to kill off her entire team just so she could escape Suna, so she figured traitor was more accurate than Kazu even thought. She looked towards kazu, the swirl pattern still in her eyes.

"Listen...I don't care who I have to betray or what I have to do. This...might be my only chance..."

Akeru had never been one to care what others thought about her, that was something she had to develop just to survive on the streets in suna. But for some reason, she just wanted Kazu and the others to know and understand...

"I wasn't born in Suna, I was brought here when I was a baby. And the people here made sure to always remind me of that and never make me feel welcome. So I had to harden myself so they wouldn't effect me, but that just made people hate me more. And then Tanto...he was hard on me, but he made me think that he believed in me. He even promoted me to chunin. I was...actually happier than I've ever been before. But that was just a lie, a cruel joke to break my spirit. He said right in front of all of you what he really thinks of me. Nobody in this village cares about me or wants me around, but Tanto threatened me, he told me if I tried to leave, he'd have the jonin hunt me down and kill me on sight. All I want to do is leave and never come back, give you all what you want and just disappear from Suna forever. And if taking Tanto down will let me do that, then that's exactly what I'm going to do. And I'm not going to let you stop me..."

Kazu could suddenly feel as if the gravity around him started pulling him down twice as hard. His movements would feel extremely sluggish, like he had suddenly put on twice his normal weight. In truth, Akeru's genjutsu was blocking off some of the electrical signals from his brain to his body, so until he could break out of the genjutsu, every muscle he had control over was operating at half strength. ((Involuntary muscles like the heart are uneffected.)) Akeru then walked closer towards Kazu, her movements showing that she was ready for a fight, though he chould tell her swirling eyes looked sad and tired of life, not full of fire and energy like a young kunoichi's eyes should be.

"So if you want to throw away your life for that b*****d of a kage, come on and attack me. I'll be glad to assist you...
