The chicks all turned red but each quickly realized the approaching flame was superior to any flame they could muster. they began to around away just escaping the flames range before all turning blue and spraying jets of water at Puff.
Each spray lasted a few seconds followed by breaks twice as long.
Maverick released his much larger lightning bolt aiming for Puff's head.
The shadow clone started focusing chakra into his feet. ready to move in a split second.
The real Flagenza started to worry slightly as the fight was getting less playful and bordering on disruptive.

Puff laughed internally at the water. It was weak and pointless, he was far too powerful for these small stream of water to discourage him.
Puff started working towards the six chickens that were still hitting him with water he pulled back his head and let out a roar that would easily stun the small fowl. as he finished roaring feeling good about himself Mavericks lightning smashed into the back of his head. puff collapsed to the ground as the electricity coursed his entire body through the water.
His body began to steam and Puff wipped up from the ground Standding on his hind legs making himself into an "s" shape. He dropped forward flying towards maverick swooping up before striking his head forward like a striking snake.

Midori listended to Rai tell his own story and started at his weapons with a look of awed reverence. She'd seen references to the blades in some old scroll and had been trying to actively locate them for several years not knowing that they wouldn't work for her.
She knew she wasn't the only one touched by Death. To assume so would be shear arrogance considering the shear scale of an abstract force like that was beyond a mere human's mind to fully comprehend. What more evidence did she need then the existence of Lamont Delfin? The wielder of those blade being called "The Reaper with the red eyes." was even more proof since they where too similar to be a mere coincidence.
"Power always has it's price." Midori replied darkly thinking about some of the things she had done in order to maintain her power. She had once killed a Doctor on the verge of curing the common flu and destroyed his research. The flu killed Tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of people per year alone. But its presence was necessary to help hold humanity in check even if letting it contiune made her a monster.
"I often wonder if it's worth the cost..." She added. "Let us hope it doesn't come to the use of Ultimate Retribution. Anything strong enough to scare gods should not be used lightly."

Rai looks at Midori and nods his head at her statement. "I agree... I dont like to think that we will need this but dont forget how powerful our opponent is. He has survived the down fall of Gaioh and was once one of their strongest ninja. He took on their former Kage and had one on more than once. He is not to be taken lightly." Rai says talking to Midori his tone that of respect. Even though Chaos had become a dangerous and deadly foe the pure power that he commanded demanded respect.

"You think I'm taking him lightly?" Asked Midori with a hint of laughter in her voice. "We're talking about a man who once took a direct shining nova to the chest and was virtually unscathed. Just about no one should be able to do that, and yet he did anyhow. His defensive ability is off the charts, so much so that he almost never bothers to even attempt to dodge." This caused her to smirk.
"That arrogance of his is well earned, but it is something we can take advantage of, If only we can think of ways to circumvent his defense. Stuff that will hurt him no matter how tough his body is. And even if we had such things it still would be no means be easy. Chaos is not centuries old for nothing so it'll be hard to hit him with something he hasn't seen before and isn't prepared for. My usual methods like poison simply just won't work on him." She said

Rai looks at Midori and shakes his head. "I am sorry about making it seem that you or I are underestimating him but on the same point we only know a little bit about him... Dont forget that he has more secrets than we know of and as such even the most knowledgeable people that have ever fought him only are semi sure at what he can or cant do..."
Rai looks at her and then decides that he has to do something here. "I think we need to get the group together if we are going to do anything here. I feel that first and foremost we need to work as quickly and silently as possible. I feel that you need to be the leader in this venture for it too work after all it is your child at risk if not...." Rai says knowing that he hit a mark with these words but his voice never changes in its tone while talking to her. Rai has some plans for this type of thing but at the same time he also realizes that she is the only one able to make the choices for the group. "I will be your adviser if that is what you wish me to be. Just also realize that I can be your second in command but you will make all of the choices on who you will be able to bring in. I will refer to you on all things if this is how you want to run this..." Rai says his voice calm and sounding like one that will serve with little to no problem.

Miodri nodded concurring with Rai's assessment. "Yes... given what limited information we have we could come up with a thousand different theory on him and yet all of them could be wrong. Our best bet would be to use things he was have little to no intelligence on if we're going to have any chance of catching him off guard."
Rai telling her to be the leader of their group made sense, but Midori was reluctant. Any time she was in the lead of a team or organization disaster had inevitably followed. Her team during her first chunnin exam, The Arurm runners, Hidden Towns... Was she cursed to always lead others to their doom?
But if it got rid of a monster like Chaos maybe the sacrifice would be worth it. Rai's words that it was her Child at risk clinched it for her. Sometimes in the grand scheme of things it was ok to discard a few pawns in order to protect the king. As long as they knew up front that they where signing up for a suicide mission she would be able to proceed to a clear conscious.
"Very well then. If you wish me to command that command I shall my adviser, my second...my knight." she said clearly defining Rai's role in a few succulent words. Bringing in Death was already a given at this point and they had already more or less agreed to bring in Flagenza. That meant it was time to consider some of the other options present.
"What do you think of Haruko and Kenji? ... considering Death brought them with him to the ruins of towns they must be quite capable." She asked wanting to her his evaluation to see if it matched her own. Raising an arm she waved for Flagenza to join them inside the barrier. Death she could talk to in private at her convince since he was already at least partly in on what she was up to, but their was no time then the present to bring Flagenza into the fold.

"I would agree with your assessment on Kenji and Haruko. I feel that they would make a very good Addition to the group. I also feel that for this to work we will need to go in person to the Hell Fire Village so that we can pick up the only person that I truly want to have in the group. So what will we call this little collection of Ninja?" Rai asks with a small little grin on his pale face.
Rai looks over at Flagenza and nods at Midori letting her know that he will follow her ruling. Something bothers him a bit but he lets it flow away from him.

"Hell fire huh... that shouldn't be a problem. Thought If I'm to go with you we should wait until after I've seen a doctor. Given my current....state I'm not sure how wise prolonged travel would be." She said as it suddenly sunk it to her head that she wouldn't be able to do much of anything in the way of missions or training for the next nine months or so.
"Hum good question we do need a group name... lets see... Avengers... Nah that's taken... " She continued to mutter to herself for long moments dismissing various names for one reason or another. "... To obvious. If his spy network hears it he'll know what we're up to.... I know!" She said with a triumphant fist pump.
"If Chaos is bedlam then we shall be The Array of Tranquility and bring divine punishment down upon his wicked soul." She said trying to sound poetic as she waved to Kenji and Haruko trying to get their attention.

"Yes my lady." Rai says with his head down. There was little else to do and say at this current state of affairs and Rai was now going to take on his advisers role. So as not to try and usurp Midori's control of the group which was going to be called the Array of Tranquility Rai would take the back seat.
Rai thinks about some things for a moment and then before Flagenza would get to the area He spoke. "In my village there is a person who has a good amount of dealings with medical and blood jutsu. If you wish we could always contact her once we get to the village... Also for your information The Village Hidden in the Hell Fire is one of the few villages around that Chaos can not show up with his full power... at least not while the Volcano is still there. And I must admit that the Meronan clan has been refreshing their control over the magma in the village..." Rai says pointing out that the village is a fortress against Chaos at least for the time being.

Maverick turned blue and disappeared in a flash of light re-appaering near falta.
He was done with the game.
The shadow clone disappeared reappearing just above Puff's head he swung his leg up for a dropping heel kick. If it connected with Puffs snout it would drive him to the ground easily.
the real Flagenza saw out of the corner of his eye Midori signalling, he bowed to Haruko and the others. Before disappearing. he re-appeared stepping out of the air just in front of Rai and Midori. He walked closer to them entering the barrier he couldn't see.
"Midori, Rai, whats so important that i can't explore the area with shadow clone's anywhere near you?" Flagenza smiled, he wasn't upset. he knew it must have been for good reason, but it left him with the most legitimate curiosity.

Midori nodded gravely at Flagenza as he asked his question. "Before I tell you anything else I have a question for you in turn....Well a couple of them really. If you can not answer yes to both then I want to walk away and pretend we never had this conversation." She said with all the seriousness she could muster. This was not one of those times where being goofy would cut it, no matter how endearing it was usually.
"First are you prepared to keep a secret from everyone... even your sister?" asked Midori as she pointedly looked at Falta. "And second. Are you willing to go beyond the normal call of duty to take on a suicide mission? It's normal to risk our lives for the cause, but another to do something when you know it will virtually garenty your demise..." She said.
"If you chose to walk away, know that I will not think lesser of you for it." She said knowing that in a way they where presuming a fools errand. But even if the chances where slim she was going to pick the best people for the job.

"Um... keeping a secret from my sister will be hard. Not because love her dearly or anything but....." Flagenza debated talking about it. As a ninja there were powers and thing that should be held and secret trump cards that you avoided telling people, and Flagenza was running out of them. but if the second question was death secrets meant very little." Falta has a direct link into my brain. a communication line formed by her chakra placed there. I can keep her out and maintain the link but ...well it just means i can't let my guard down or i need to keep a distance form her." Flagenza thought for a minute more.
" Don't worry I'll keep her out, and me die, if it can kill me on a mission , it could kill me at home, I'm in. Remember Midori, I treat every fight like it could be my last" Flagenza smiled. he wasn't really afraid of death especially with Midori around. his death would serve an immediate purpose in that situation.
flagenza looked at Midori slightly confused. What could she possibly be worried about me doing and dying with her around? She sent me straight into an enemy village before without this sort of warning.
" This has to do with Chaos doesn't it?"

Rai chuckles low in his throat for a few seconds and then looks directly at Flagenza. Most people would assume that he was looking at his eyes when in truth due to Rai's bloodline he could see the heat of chakra that it let loose. Rai smiles for a few seconds and then stands straight back up. "Midori I can take care of the link between the two of them. And If I cant... well... "Rai pauses for a few seconds before going on with his next few words. "I know of someone that I have placed in this village as a sort of... insurance policy. The person is very important to myself and is also very old... he is well... versed in many different medical jutsu and seals as well... I am sure he could take care of the link..." Rai says as he moves his neck a little. "And I agree.... he is a very able ninja." Rai says talking about Flagenza. "He was able to tell who this was about in mere seconds..."

Flagenza became slightly defensive. "Rai, I said I can handle the link" Flagenza stared deeply towards Rai to make sure he understood how serious he was. " If I really wanted it gone I would have had it removed already. It is not a threat to me or my duties as a ninja."
Flagenza turned to Midori. " Midori, since Hizeru has disappeared its good to know I can still call upon the aid of a powerful ninja to back me up that isn't a shadow clone. the links no where close to the trump card the RaiKage seal was but she can still be of use to me. And she doesn't need to know why I decided to call on her for her to help me. This can still be kept secret without the link being broken."
Speaking to both of them. "As it is, if the link was suddenly broken she'll immediately notice and be suspicious as to why."
