Hi everyone =)
I'm not a buddhist. I like almost all of its teachings that I've seen(apart from the general concepts, I don't know much at all, like the types of meditation and such) and would try to follow what I know of them anyway, buddhist or not, I think. I was raised catholic, decided that wasn't for me anymore when I was about 12, and started "religion shopping" to use Byaggha's phrase. Buddhism and the Hindu religion were what I was mainly drawn to. At this stage, I think I'm something of a pagan. Mix and match, that's me.
Oh and non religious background. Well, I'm Amy. I'm 19, in my final year of my theoretical physics degree. I'm in Ireland. I think that covers it =)

Hello everyone, my name is Vicki. I don't really have a religion, however I am a Roman Catholic in the sense that if an elephant is born in a tree then it's a bird. :/ I'm looking at Buddhism now however because I feel somewhat swayed. I'm 14 and I live in Georgia(US) in one of the more crowded areas. Politically I'm more of a Libertarian than anything, but what I'm for and against varies upon the situation. My hobbies include [basic]web design, art, philosophy, and... procrastinating (if it is a hobby, and a rather bad one at that).
I don't know much about Buddhism, but what I have read interests me greatly. I hope to learn more than what can be found in books and articles and I'm sure this is the place to do so.

Hello everyone! I have been interested in Buddhism since I was about thirteen. Now, at seventeen, I am not a full Buddhist...or any Buddhist for that matter. Through out my life I have been through many things and haven taken many Buddhist teachings and ideas and applied them to myself and my life. I have created my own philosophy on life, but it is greatly influenced by Buddhism. Little actualy differs between my beliefs and a Buddhists, and I even meditate. I am looking forward to learning more about the deep intrications of Buddhism. Thank you for reading.

hey, im Angelica, and im 14 and live in Georgia(usa). I am intrested in the way Buddhist principals can apply to my life. Im in between religions, as Christianity doesnt work well with me. I dont have many hobbies, but i live music art and reading. I'm not fond of gym, and im not sure what else to put.. sweatdrop

Im Zack, im 16 and have been interested in Buddhism for a few years. And after joining this guild, I can sincerely say I'm becoming a Buddhist...what sect I dont know, im still learning sweatdrop But if anyone wants to talk about anything just PM me,im a nice person, i promise. wink

Hello,
My name is Rheanna, I'm 21 year old college student.
I got interested in Buddhism a few years back, but I wasn't ready for it.
Out of curiousity, I started seriously checking out Buddhism a few months ago. I've been reading a lot of books lately on Buddhism, but there's still a lot I need to learn. So hopefully I can find out more here =)
