Reasons why the rank would fit them? She has a very strong devotion to the gods as a body, and would be willing to devote herself to one specifically if required to. Her faith in the gods has led her a long way from her birth pride to here, in search of the mate she was told about via a cub's vision, which she believes was directly from the gods.
Personality?: She's a pretty timid girl, though this is balanced by her undying belief in the gods. She's biddable and quiet, generally pretty mousey, but very very determined, once her mind is set. A gentle soul, with compassion for others and a trusting nature.
Brief History?: Born and raised in Pridelands, a juve seer told her that she had a mate waiting for her elsewhere, and without thought or doubt, Taanisi left her lifelong home in search of him. On the way she has met and overcome adversity, and had come to the borders of the pride in a sorry state, having been caught in a wildfire.

Reasons why the rank would fit them? It's a job he knows how to do.
Personality?: Nagua can be a normal troublemaker, or sulking teen, but he does enjoy learning new things...so long as he's not forced into it. He misses the swamps he grew up in, but is practical enough to know that even if he could go back there, it wouldn't be the same.
Brief History?: Nagua is on his name quest from the Jini-msemi. He's a bit unsettled due to the fact that he did NOT leave from the swamps but from a mountain that is supposed to be their new home.

Personality?: Xanthias is a quieter cheetah, preferring more to dwell on his own thoughts than chat with others.
Brief History?: He's drifted from place to place much of his adult life, and briefly settled down with a lioness to raise their two cubs. After they were grown, he moved on once more, seeking a more permanent residence.

Reasons why the rank would fit them? It's been a role that has been taken up by her family for generations, and she sees no reason to stop it with her.
Personality?: Kemik is a sweetheart who lives a double life. Where her work is concerned she is quiet, almost solemn and practiced with the utmost of secrecy. In everyday situations she is demure, pleasant, and ever helpful, going out of her way to do all she can for those who cannot watch after themselves.
Brief History?: Coming from a long line of Secret Keepers, Kemik has always known what her rank would be since she was a young cub. It never bothered her, and though it is a saddening affair, her father instilled in her a sort of pride for the work.

She was raised with her father and mother, as well as two brothers. The cubs had been born of a fling, and when she was just a juve her mother left her father, taking her brothers with her, only after he refused to part with his beloved girl. It wasn't long after that her father began to fancy a lioness, with cubs of her own, and soon the two became one blended family.

Over the years her father has passed, as well as her 'mother' and many of her 'siblings', and some within the rank itself believe it was she that disposed of them.

Reasons why the rank would fit them? She loves cubs! she would become a bard but she is a little too awkward for the rank to be able to be outgoing enough, so instead she likes to share her stories with the cubs
Personality?: A little awkward, she doesn't completely know how to act around others at first, because of her past, that goes hand in hand with her being shy and nervous around others. Once she warms up though she is much more friendly. Once she opens up she has a bright personality and loves to smile and laugh. She of course also loves cubs because she don't mind her being so awkward.
Brief History?: She was at first thought to be cursed because of her stary pelt. She was hidden away from her pride by her mother for most of her life. Her mother would occasionally come to bring her food and comfort her. She was otherwise on her own until she was a teen. Whens she grew her mother insisted she leave. She did and she roamed the lands for a long while before meeting another who convinced her to join this pride.
