"Morning to you too! Yum, deer jerky." Nicole remarked to herself when she saw the dead deer. "...That's not a bad idea." She headed to one of the ladders to the wall outside where some guards were on patrol, telling one of them that she was going to take over. He nodded gratefully before going off inside. She sat on the side for a while, staring at first intensely at the dark trees but then boredly. Yawning she heard Troy come up the ladder and turned to look at him. "Uh, sure. No problem really. I'm kinda used to it." She glanced back over to the forest to keep from staring at him too long. Awkward. "Just kind of...staring out at the trees. Nothing interesting going on."

Russ was glad that the group that'd went out was safe. Soon after helping Tyler to where the medic was he went off on his own thinking to do some training. The army base had a sparring area like that with dummies and targets. Even thought it had been inhabited by others, the room was largely the same. He chose one of the dummies hanging from the ceiling to practice on, taking off his coat and setting it on the floor. He warmed up for a few seconds before kicking the dummy to make it swing, then exploding into action.

Stryker felt rage pour into him when Tyler noticed him. He kept standing there while he and the group walked away, like he was frozen in place. As soon as they disappeared from his sight he punched the tree angrily, regretting doing that. He shook his hand in the air to try and get it to stop aching. Why had he stood there? He could have taken the wounded man down easily. But then he would have been cut down instantly, breaking his vow. The little silver haired girl had caught his interest though. How had she caught him there? The look and scent of her reminded him of one of the human, well, not a human, that vampire girl. Despite the nagging doubts he had to go back to his own base as the better option, he followed the humans, lurking behind another tree when they entered the large gate on the east side. If he was going to be angry, he might as well put it to some use in observing the patrolling and spotting guards routines. Plus he didn't feel like going back to face the other Malices.

"Okay, just stay out trouble. You, your mother, and I need to have a talk a little bit later. It's nothing bad, there's just something I need you to know," Tyler said to his daughter before she ran off to play. He knew he had intended to ground her for running off into the storm...but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. She had inherited Eleanor's innocent face. So, he walked up to the bedroom to light a candle or two, and draw the shades closed. ((Also, I think you guys should look at this. It's my gift to you!))

Looking at the snowy landscape Troy developed a sincere look on his face and said to Nicole, "Nicole do you remember the battle with that Doctor John guy?"

Troy turned to Nicole and said "Yes he was killed with a rocket launcher. Now, do you remember the conversation we was having when that doctor guy interrupted us?"

Troy smiled as he saw Nicole turn pink and then said, "Well I remember that conversation, I came up to you and said that I had some feelings for you. And I knew you had feelings for me, but when we were interrupted we never finished that conversation and just been noticing and somewhat talking to each other since then. Now I am a shy guy when it comes to stuff like this but I have been thinking lately about how the world is today. And that made me realize that a thing such as shyness is not going to get me through this life. So I am saying to you that I still have feelings for you and we have grown up since that time. So my question to you is, do you still have feelings for me?"

Nicole went to turn her face away, suddenly embarrassed, but instead forced herself to look at Troy. His words rang true, and she felt childish for a moment. "I-I...Yes, I do."
