"I don't own either a telly or a computer," Tori said it a bit to matter-of-factly. However, her grin never wavered. "If I did I don't know when I'd find the time to use either," she sighed as she giggled.
When Evari gestured towards the woman in the ticket booth she noticed she was starting to get rather irate with them chatting and holding up the line.
Tori still had no clue what she wanted to see. Any way you looked at it they were going to end up seeing a movie based on opinions and not actual facts. Random was random anyway you sliced it.
"Two tickets of what ever romance action film is popular please," she reached into the pocket of her dress and retrieved the money she had set aside. "Keep the rest as a tip," she said as she slid the money through the window. It was the least she could offer after all they had held up her line for a considerable bit of time.

Evari looked shocked by this news. Tori didn't have a TV or a computer?! How was that possible! She didn't say anything though, struck speechless by this. Duuuuude...Victoria was going to have to come to her house and they could watch TV or something. Seriously now. What?!
When Tori gave her decision to the ticket lady she laughed, pulling her hand out of her pocket to hand over her money...but Tori beat her! Damnit! The glowing girl pouted and put the money back in her pocket, taking their movie tickets when the woman hurriedly gave them out and leading Tori into the theater. "I was gonna pay for thaaaaaat." Evari huffed, handing the tickets to the person standing at the entrance so they could tear off the stub and then give them back their tickets, giving directions to where their movie was.
"If ya don't stop payin' for stuff it'll look like a date~." She warned her friend, leaning in to kiss her cheek with a grin. She could do that, right? It was just her cheek! Friends could do that! Right? ...Right? Evari blushed again over her own action and cleared her throat, rubbing at the back of her neck and looking around. She was quick to lead Victoria in the direction they needed to go in, wanting to sit down and get comfortable as quickly as possible.

"People will think what they want to think reguardless of our past, present and future actions. It is being human," there was a bit of confusion in Tori's voice.
Why was her friend so concerned if this looked like a date or not? Did it really mater that much to her? This was all so confusing! She could just so easily lean up, lay on, and do all sorts of things with Kay! She wanted it to be that way with Evari. She sighed inwardly.
The last thing she remember was the adorable blush on Evari's face... and, now they were finding seats. She was wowed by this because normally she was very attentive.
"I'm surprised you didn't want to stop by the concession stand," she looked over at her friend. "I don't eat the stuff but I figured you would..."

Er...Evari didn't...mean it would look that way to other people. She doubted anyone else would think this pair of little girls were on a date. Heh. But it did matter to her just because this had never happened to her before; she was so confused. Victoria was a girl. And so was she! Weren't...girls only supposed to kiss and date boys? But it felt nice when Victoria kissed her, and touched her. And she was really pretty. But it didn't make any sense! Ugh! She'd need to talk to someone who would actually know something. An adult. Yes, Evari needed an adult. But who?
The next thing Evari knew she was letting go of Victoria and sitting in a very comfy chair, her legs pulled up to sit indian style and leaning on the armrest between her and Victoria closer to the other girl. "Huh? O-oh...nah, m'not hungry." It wasn't a lie. She was full from the snacks at the cafe but she was also...not hungry. "But if you want anything I can go get it for you." Evari offered with a tilt of her head, playing with one of Victoria's curls. She couldn't help it! They were almost as fun to play with as Faris' wings! Almost.

"I'm good," Tori whispered. Even if the movie hadn't started yet they were in the theater. For being one of the more popular movies of their genre choice the theater sure was empty! Oh well, no loss- just more time for them.
It wasn't the first time Evari had played her hair- probably wouldn't be the last time. She hadn't shown any displeasure in the situation, actually, she quite liked it! However, there really wasn't much for her friend to play with that. That could easily be fixed.
She looked around to make sure no one was looking before reaching up and taking the dagger and a couple of hair pins out of her hair. All of her red curly locks came cascading down. There was a lot of hair, of curl- it was to her waist.
She hoped what she considered a down right mess when not up would please her friend who seemed to like playing with her hair... It would give her something to do till the movie started and hopefully ease her mind.
She carefully stowed the dagger into her violin case next to the other one.

Evari blinked and drew her hand away when Victoria moved. Oh, did she not like it? She watched the girl play with the things in her hair, staring at the dagger she pulled out of it. Holy cow! How could you keep a dagger so close to your head?! That was just terrifying! But now she understood, Victoria was letting her hair down. It was a good thing! It let Evari play with her hair more. Giggling, Evari resumed the playing when Victoria was settled down again, turning to drape her legs over the other arm of her seat and put her feet on the chair beside her while keeping her upper half turned. It looked awkward but it was oddly comfortable for the glowing girl.
The lights darkened, though that just made Evari's glow seem a little more vibrant because the lights were off. The previews were over and the movie started. Something about a couple who was bored with their lives so they went on a date night...and all kinds of crazy hijinks. Evari actually liked it! Laughing every time something totally insane happened to the couple. When it was over and the lights came on she turned to Victoria with a big goofy grin on her face. "That was awesome! Did you like it?"

Her hair was past the point of help so she didn't bother trying to put it up again. It could wait till she got home and got settled. She wrapped her arm around her friends waist. "It was interesting," she grinned. She wasn't exactly sure how to describe the movie. She hadn't ever seen anything like it or read anything like it. "How they linked that Audi R8 sports car up with the Ford Crown Victoria taxi together in that crash seen was rather fascinating. Though I don't understand why they would want to tear up a car that is priced at close to a million..." it was her smarts showing through. Who would have known that she read car magazines. Honestly, she read anything that was possible to read.

"They got the money for it...or sometimes it's not really the car." Evari explained very matter-of-factly. Unlike Victoria she watched a lot of TV, so she learned things from those 'the making of' shows for different movies. She stood with Victoria, her arm draped across her friend's shoulders. "S'just a cheap car that they modificated to look like the expensive car. It's just a car." Kind of silly, putting such a high price on a car when one could easily just walk or ride a bike from place to place.
Evari guided Victoria out of the theater again, humming a random tune she was making up as she went along and twirling a lock of Victoria's hair around her finger. "Hmm...now what? S'gettin' kinda late." Xai hadn't exactly given a time she had to be home but she had said it would be nice if Evari was home before dark. And it was starting to get dark.

"You're right... it is getting late. I'll call for a couple of cabs. I don't want you getting in trouble." Tori sighed. She had had a lot of fun today and really didn't want it to end.

A couple of cabs? Awww! But she wanted to ride with Tori! Evari pouted a little but nodded, rubbing at the back of her neck and glancing at the girl. Then again, she did need air...and she knew where they were! She could easily walk home. Yes. She'd walk. She needed to kill some energy and try to clear her head a little. "Nah, it's cool. You don't need to call me a cab, 'Tori. I'll walk." Evari said with a smile, turning to hug her friend. They were still friends, right? Her heart thumped almost painfully and she let go of the hug to just hold Victoria with her hands on the other girl's shoulders, blushing again and tilting her head a little. This...had pretty much been like a date. Not a date, but like a date. And dates ended with...with kissing, right? She blushed even more and cleared her throat, eying Victoria quietly for a moment as if debating something.
Ah...er...w-whatever! Friends could kiss! Right? S...so what if she was a girl! Victoria was her friend! And so Evari leaned in to give Victoria a shy kiss on her lips, trying hard not to mess it up or something. It was weird, she was so young how the hell was she supposed to know how to kiss someone? Let alone a girl? But her glow brightened as she kissed her and then leaned back again, smiling shyly and rubbing at one of her pink cheeks. "So...s-so I...I'll um...I'll see you 'round! Ah...call me, 'kay?" Evari grinned, letting go of Victoria and shuffling back a bit, kicking one of her feet casually and wringing her hands together. "If you wanna, y'know, hang out and stuff~!" Her heart was racing and she couldn't figure out why. Nervousness? Yeah, that had to be it. She was nervous. What she was just doing wasn't...wrong was it?
"So um...yeah...later, 'Tori! Get home safe!" Evari waved and hurried off in the direction of home. It wasn't that she was eager to leave Victoria, in fact her glance back said the exact opposite, but well...she was eager to get home and try to figure out what the hell happened today.

Before Victoria could react to it or anything Evari had said her friend was gone. She wanted to drop her violin case, kick off her heals, and chase after her but something told her to stay... Perhaps it was that glance back.
Victoria touched her lips. That was twice in one day. One more than the other but each equally the same in some means. It wasn't like when she kissed Kay on the forehead, nose, or cheek... It was, well she couldn't easily describe it.
She wasn't exactly sure how long she stood there before she turned to leave herself... she didn't have the voice yet to call for a cab.
