Emori squeaked and started with a jolt as Taku proclaimed himself "it." "Shhh!" he looked at Matteo, pressing his finger to his lips before toddling off, tugging at the cattaur's ribbons as he searched for a hiding place. It'd have to be something big enough to accomodate his fluffy tail...behind that rock? No. Inside that log? Eugh, too dirty! He finally settled on a pair of bushes off to the side of the pond. I was really the bright red berried that had caught his eye. "Little tree!" he squeaked, almost forgetting to hush his voice as he pointed to the bushes, tiptoeing towards them.

Makokun ((Heh, nah, it's everybody, especially everybody else xp )) Emori squeaked at the compliment, pondering over it for a second. "Warrior? No...that's Tavok!" he chirped. "Yes, partner!" Giggling as his nose was tapped, he reached out and tugged at Matteo's arm, beckoning him to get up. "Hide, hide!" he squeaked, looking around at the others. Matteo laughed. "You could be one too, if you wanted to. You have the makings of one. Still...us cattaurs..." He sat up and leaned back a bit, his hands folded behind his head in a lazy posture, "Cattaurs like to take it easy. We don't usually start fights..." he looked at Leila out of the corner of one eye. "Well, most of us anyway...we don't usually start fights, but we can certainly finished them. Whoa! Slow down, there, Emori!" He nearly fell over again when the little foxtaur child tugged on his arm. "Oh! Right...let's hurry! Where should we go?" he glanced around frantically, looking for a good place for two taur to hide.
"Wait up! Emori..." he whispered, then sighed and swiftly padded toward him, the silence of his paws perfect, but the jingling of his bells ruining it.

Ryuujin Kiji Nole came across a fallen hollowed out tree, thinking this would be a great place to hide he tried to crawl in...only to get stuck half way with his backside sticking out. Poppy thought it very odd that a tree would have bells on it, but as soon as she saw that Lyco had decided to hide here she crouched down next to the tree and looked out around the side of it. " Shhh, dont jingle the tree or you will give us away". Giggling, Aqurom looked at Leila, " No, I cant swim up trees even with help. I have to stay in the water, just like you would die if you stayed under water to long I would die if I stay out of water to long. Its ok though, Id much rather stay here and watch you go hide from the others. With your abilities you could hide easy from them and I wanna see that". "Uh oh...hey, Emori, look...Nole's stuck...think we can go help a fellow warrior?" The cattaur pointed over at Nole's backside, trying very hard not to smile, but failing miserably. It was a good thing Nole couldn't see him at the moment. The tree was silent. "Wow, Poppy..." Lyco whispered. "The tree listen to you...it no laugh..." He was at the same time awed and dissappointed that he couldn't do what Poppy could. But maybe it was just this tree that was being mean. Maybe it would have listened to him too if he had thought to ask it to keep quiet. He huddled closer to Poppy, flicking his tail to the side until he was sure his brightly colored markings were hidden from veiw. He found he could blend his stripes and dark coat with the shadows easily. Poppy looked pretty camoulflodged herself."Aww...but...but...okay..." she relented finally. "But...me come back for you later," she promised, and pounced onto the lowest branch of the nearest tree, a young sapling hanging over the pond. The brook bubbled and trickled quietly, as if laughing. Leila gave it a nasty look. How dare it forbid her to hide with Aqurom. Silently, she sat as still and quiet as she could. However, since it was only a young tree with few branches and leaves to hide her, there was no cover for her to hide. She would have to hope the stupid doggietaur Taku's eyes were bad, which she was certain they were. Leila snickered, a little comforted by the thought. Her slitted pupils shifted to gaze at the small pond below, searching for Aqurom.

Nole tries to push himself out but is unable to move enough to push with his hands. He then tries to pull himself out by pushing on the log with his feet, but again is unable to move. He starts scratching at the side of the inside of the log, hoping to dig his way out. And once again he finds himself still trapped inside. Nole begins to twist his body in hopes of wiggling out, but remains stuck in place.
Poppy looked at the tree and then looked at Lyco, "I didnt tell the tree to be quiet, I said for you to not jingle the tree...maybe it was you that made it be quiet". She looked back around the tree to see if Taku was still counting and then quickly turned back to Lyco again, "if we dont stop talking he will find us for sure". Checking once again that Taku was counting, she then leaned over against Lyco and closed her eyes. She smiled and even seemed to purr abit, she wrapped her arms around Lyco's arm and cuddle against it like a pillow.
Aqurom watched as Leila climbed up into a nearby tree, he smiled towards her as she looked in his direction from her not so well hidden hiding spot. Then he decided that while he waited that he should get a snack, he dove down into the water to see if the pond offered anything worth eatting. After a short swim he found some seaweed looking plants and tried tasting them, only to spit them out. He searched alitte while onger before returning to the surface to see how the game was going.

Emori wriggled his nose at all of this warrior talk - the concept of fighting certainly didn't appeal to him. No, he was much more suited to grooming himself, or picking flowers, or playing a game, as he was now. "No warrior" he said simply. His tail drifted past his face as he looked back at Nole - or, at least, what he could see of him. "Yes, go help!" he said, taking Matteo by the hand and toddling off in the other direction, towards Nole. His ears perked as Taku continued to count, and he made sure to be as quiet as he could.

((I think it is now safe to assume Lycoris and Leila are children, right?))
Lycoris thought about this. It was true; Poppy had told him. Maybe she was right after all! He opened his mouth to cheer in triumph, but quickly put his hand over it, and nodded when Poppy suggested they stay quiet. She was always so smart. For once he didn't protest when she cuddled up to him, but he wasn't sure how Taku would react if he found them. He had a feeling it wouldn't be too good. Still, Poppy looked so content, and Taku was still counting, so he figured they'd be okay. He just hoped she wouldn't fall asleep. Smiling, he flicked his tail, and it fell across Poppy's. Lost in his own thoughts, he hadn't realized it was somewhat heavier than before, due to its longer hair. He had finally grown.Leila lay lazily on the branch. She was so far out, however, and on the skinniest branch that she could have collapsed. Still, she was pretty confiedent of her skills as a tree climber. Eventually she grew so bored, she began to nod off to sleep, not realizing her weight on the branch was somewhat more than she had figured before she climed out that far. Soon her little cat nap was inturrupted by the cold splash of the pool water as the tree branch snapped like a twig and she tumbled ontop of Aqurom. There was no ground for her to land on her feet, and she only awakened after she had been submerged.Matteo cocked his head slightly. A young male taur not wanting to be a warrior? This was strange. Matteo was sure it was every young male taur's dream at Emori's age to be a warrior. It certainly was Lyco's. But no, Emori was like the cattaurs. He felt like doing something better with his life. Matteo smiled. "Alright then, you be whatever you want to be. But let's go help Nole! Quietly now...opps! I better stay put then..." he slumped back down on the grass, glaring at his jingly tail. "But I'll be sure to head Taku off if he hears me. I'll probably be the first he finds anywy, with all my racket..." Matteo glanced up, startled as he heard a huge splash and a violent yowl. He feared the next few events as he suddenly realized it was a black blur that had fallen into the water. He doubted any cattaur, especially Leila, would want to fall into a pool of freezing water while napping. The mere thought of it made him shiver in displeasure.

[ Taku Finished counting and called out "Ready or not here I come!" He procaimed and sniffed around moving from bushes to rocks. "Where are they...." He asked himself and listened. Maybe he could make one of them laugh? She said something stupid, that made himself giggle. "Booger!" ]

((Yus, I believe so. *Prods Emori* When are you going to grow, boyo?))
Slightly confused, Emori gave a start as Taku finished and dived behind the log containing Nole, peeking out for a split second at Matteo with a pout. He wanted to call him over, but no - he must be quiet...then, he found himself twisting his head at a splashing sound. What in the? And Taku was calling out the word "booger"...what a strange game! Wriggling his nose in slight disgust, he brought his tail up to his chest and hugged it, staying as quiet as possible while hiding.

((I think he's grown, just not certed. sweatdrop http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v414/Zennithei/candycornfoxtaurshinies.png ))
Lycoris sat up at the sound of the splash. What had it been? Then he heard Taku's voice and hurried to duck down again. However, when Taku said 'booger' he couldn't help snickering a little, and hurriedly clasped his hands over his mouth. That wasn't fair!...was it?
