Inibi looked back at him and raised an eyebrow. "Are you ok? You seem nervous all the sudden..." she was a tad worried, but maybe he was afraid of the dark, or he wanted to get home or something. Whatever it was, she wasn't going to stop him. She preferred a tree anyway

"Oh, I'm fine!" he said. "I've...just never invited a girl to the apartment before." he said with a blush. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." he said with a smile. "But its totally up to you. If you wanna come with me or not...its all good."

Inibi smiled. "Well I think you are sweet and all, but I don't want you to get in trouble or anything. Besides, I'm fine with staying in a tree" she smiled sweetly and put her paws on his shoulders "Don't worry about me. Head out if you need to"

Neely sighed. It seemed impossible to make her understand that it wasn't himself he was worried about. It was her. He didn't like the idea of her being all alone, especially out in the open where anything could happen to her. Deep down he knew she'd been fine all this time, but he also knew he couldn't live with himself if something did happen to her tonight or any other night from now on, because he had the power to get her off the streets and somewhere safe.
"Inibi," he started slowly. "I'm not worried about me, or any trouble I could get into. I'm worried about you. I'd worry about you out here all alone. I know you've been fine so far, but if something did happen to you tonight or any other night, I'd feel guilty because I could have done something to keep it from happening." he sighed and looked into her eyes. "Can't you see, I don't want anything bad to happen to you...ever." he admitted.

Inibi was slightly shocked at what she was hearing. She had a clue it was coming, but she didn't know when, and frankly she didn't think it would be like this at all. She feigned a smile, not wanting to be rude, but still trying to tell the honest truth.
"Neely. I know you worry about me. But you can't. I know you'd feel guilty if something happened to me, but there's no need to. Something is going to happen to everybody. It's the way things work. Overprotection is not something that anybody really wants."

Neely flicks his ears back. "I'm not trying to be overprotective. I'm trying to offer you a better alternative. I know that things happen to people no matter what, but there are somethings that can be avoided, if only someone is offered a choice. I'm giving you that choice..." he paused for a moment. "Its like people who think they have to be alone for the rest of their lives...they don't have to be...they just have to be given the option to have something different."
Neely sighed inwardly. Why was she so set on trying to push him away and yet be so accepting at the same time? It was a strange contradiction in her personality, wanting to know everything about him, but reluctant to let him close to her. It was frustrating...but he wanted through that veil so much now.

"I'm not saying I want to be alone all the time. I just...." she trails off and her eyes drift slowly to something else, wondering if it'd be appropriate to mention her curious findings about her at the rising of the sun

Neely nodded slowly. "Sorry...its just the way you sort of present yourself." he sighed and looked up at the sky. It was getting so late now. He wasn't really worried about it, and he knew Sebastian and Adair wouldn't be...it would actually be more surprising if they actually knew he was out of the apartment at all. That made him smile a bit and chuckle quietly. His family was so weird sometimes.

Inibi stared at him for a moment as he seemed to be lost in thought. She took the moment to kiss him gently on the cheek and float up to a nearby tree, hopfully getting some peace and quiet so she can actually get some sleep

Neely blinked as he felt her gently kiss his cheek. He looked around and then up into the tree seeing her their. He sighed a bit then spread his own wings and took off circling the area before finally turning and flying off to the apartment behind the noodle shop.
Once home he saw that his family was busy playing on the computer, and he quietly slipped into his room and set his alarm clock for early the next morning.

Inibi settled in for the night. As the sun came up her markings reversed themselves in response of the sudden light, but slowly changed back to their original colors. Had she actually been awake, then who knows what would have happened

(That's fine.)
Neely winged his way back to the shop, early the next morning. He'd skipped breakfast, and planned to grab an apple or something out of the kitchen. He slipped in then managed to nab the apple and munched on it quickly before making his way out to the front room and quickly scanned for Inibi.
He didn't see the femme right away and moved out the front door and spread his wings making his way back to the tree that he'd last seen the strange patterned femme.

Inibi had woken up only a few moments after she had drifted to sleep. It only took a little bit of solar energy to get her going, but she never knew exactly why. Long before Neely arrived, she had left to take a walk, something she wasn't accustomed to doing, but decided it was almost as fun as hovering. All the while she sauntered happily through the Vila, she remarked mentally on how it was a nice day, but a storm was coming. She had learned that her markings could depict the weather. Today they were blue on top, but faded to a dark blue, blackish color. This to her meant that it will be sunny for a while, but as it gets darker, a particularly nasty thunderstorm will move through. She was always fascinated that she knew this
At the time Neely had arrived at her tree, she had unknowingly turned around and started to head back, and was now within visual range of her temporary bed. She noticed a fox nearby and tilted her head, wondering it who could be before she quickened her pace to a trot

Neely frowned when he found the tree empty. He wasn't sure whether or not he should worry about this or if he'd expected less. It was hard to say...Inibi was a hard femme to understand.
He sighed and sat down pushing his hair back. He looked down the street from the direction he'd come but couldn't decide if going to find the strange femme was a good idea or not. He had no clue were she'd gone, or if she'd come back. He sighed again and stretched his wings, before looking up the street in the other direction and raising an eyebrow as he saw someone coming toward him. Someone very familiar.

She slowed her pace down and stop short a few feet of Neely. She didn't want to seem intrusive, so she gave him 2 or 3 feet of space. She waved a paw and smiled. "Morning" she grinned
