Aiden paused mid-step, feeling something wrong with Mira. He turned his attention to her in an instant, eyes going wide. "M-Mira?" He never meant to ignore Andy, but feeling such a sudden wave of emotion from Mira had set off his inner alarms. "Mira are you okay?"
"Th-that's not true at all! S-Sonnet means a lot to me and if you knew anything about me at all you'd know that." He practically hissed his reply back in anger, but what she said next made him rethink that reaction. "What do you mean?" He paled again, only managing to keep himself from running to Sonnet's dorm because of Rasiel's sudden presence next to him.
If he weren't so worried about Sonnet he'dve been the happiest person on the planet, but unfortunately Sumi had said something that made it sound as if Sonnet were dying, or was already dead. "N-no, no dancing..." He looked up at Rasiel, still bearing his panicked expression. Rasiel did quite a bit to calm him down, but Sumi... Sumi was setting him off all too well. "Sh-she's okay though, right? She's not hurt? Oh god, what if she's..." He couldn't continue with that train of thought, it was too awful, too horrifying. "I-I have to go see Sonnet right now." He attempted to pull away from Rasiel, desperate for some sort of assurance that Sonnet was fine.
Angry with him for being stupid, but fine. He could handle her being angry with him, that he expected and more than deserved from her. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if she got hurt because of his stupidity though.

The night was going well. Edmund was actually dancing with a pretty girl and he hadn't made a fool of himself. Also Mira was nice and he was definitely hoping they would be friends after the ball. Then a wave of panic washed over him as Mira nearly fell over and gave what seemed to Edmund like a gasp of pain. His instincts took over and he grabbed her shoulder and waist to try to steady her. "M-Mira?" his voice betrayed his obvious feeling of concern. "Is everything ok?" He was frowning and his brow was knit in worry.

Rasiel frowned a little at Deskri's persistence to see Sonnet. "That's fine. If you really want to see her, I won't stop you. I'll just stay here and wait for you." he smiled reassuringly, he was still keeping an eye on the girl, unsure if she had something to do with Deskri's sudden panic. He could assume that the girl was talking about Sonnet and alluring to her being in need of some sort of help. He was reluctant to believe her, but remembering that he may have actually hurt Sonnet, it didn't seem so impossible. Rasiel was worried but trusted that Deskri could handle himself, so he let go of him, letting him decide what to do for himself. "I'll be fine here, besides, I don't know if I can really handle it if I went..." he added, insisting that he not go and rather did anything else.
Mira leaned her head on Edmund and sighed, beginning to calm back down. "M-mira.. is fine... She thinks she may just be thirsty..." she spoke softly as she then slowly pushed herself up from Edmund and back onto her feet. She smiled reassuringly and looked to her brother. "Don't worry about Mira.. She is fine, just dizzy is all.." she reassured as she took Edmund by the hand. "Does Edmund want to go with Mira to get a drink?" she asked, trying to make everything seem like it was all okay now.
In the moment of her straining that had just previously happened on the dance floor, she had had a vision of things to come. It was normally for her, but it was always hard to predict when she'd see what was in the future. It came to her at random and showed her things that may not matter, or possibly life changing things. The images had flashed before her eyes in almost an instant. She saw Andy and her brother kissing and being close, so intimately close to each other wrapped together like lovers on the floor. She then saw the image of a dark haired boy with eyeliner leaving the ballroom and then an image of the monochrome girl laughing with such a sinister grin, it made her sick with fear. She then saw two girls, a girl with black hair and one with purple hair held close together, doing things she didn't understand. All of these things flashed before her eyes so quickly and as soon as they had come, they were gone and she knew she was back at the ballroom, being held by Edmund, as she had the sudden urge to sit down.

Andy paused, watching Aiden's reaction as she then turned her attention to Mira who had seemed to be in pain. She went to say something, but everyone had already beat her to it. She felt a little bit of jealousy well up in her, but it quickly subsided, realizing that the situation really did cause for them to make sure she was alright. After Mira had claimed she was okay, she smiled and began to walk toward Aiden to get closer to him. "Well, that's good she's okay. We can still keep dancing if y-.. " her voice was cut off as she had tripped over what seemed to be a stray streamer and came crashing right into Aiden, knocking them both down. Her eyes wide in shock as she realized her face had hit his, their lips had locked for more than just a moment, and now she was fallen on top of him. "Oh, god! I'm so sorry, Aiden!!! Are you okay?!" she exclaimed, trying to fix the situation quickly.

Sumi did her best not to gag at Rasiel's hint that she had been hitting on Deskri before turning to Deskri again and grinning.
"Go ahead and look for her. I'll wait right here under the watchful eyes of the people here in the ballroom to prove I didn't vanish to go and hide her away..." That grin of her's returned before she chuckled softly.
"May I just make the suggestion that you don't go to her dorm though? I don't think your fragile heart can stand it..."

"If you say so, Mira---" Aiden was turning his attention back to Andy right as she tripped, colliding in such a way to provide the kiss that Mira had seen. He fell to the floor, pain lighting up on his elbows and rear end where he landed. He gasped a little, remaining still as if he'd just hit his funny-bone and was momentarily stunned because of it. "I-I'm fine, it's okay..." He remained still and then attempted to get up again. "A-Are you okay?" His brain hadn't quite processed the implications of their collision.
Deskri paused, but it didn't take him long to figure out why Rasiel was insisting that he stay behind. He wanted to tell him to stop that, he hadn't hurt Sonnet it was all some sort of ******** up plan made by their Bad Things, but he didn't. Sumi had distracted his attention again. "N-not go into her dorm.....?" That was enough to set him off completely, without another word he took off running as fast as he could, barely making it out of the ballroom without crashing into a wall. Regardless of Sumi's "advice," he was going to go into that dorm.
[Ffff Deskri's not wearing his contacts soooo... he'll more than likely run into things. Annnd if the scene in Sonnet's room is anything like that picture Mizu put on the dA...............]

Edmund held Mira briefly while she leaned on him. For lack of knowing what else to do he gave her a reassuring pat. "Ok, I'm glad you're alright..." he said softly, the relief as clear in his voice as the worry had been. When Mira took his hand he didn't resist and gave her another smile still slightly tinged with worry. "Yeah I'll go with you." He walked hand in hand with her to the refreshments table. Walking hand in hand with Mira was different then when he walked holding either of his brother's hands and the pleasant nervous feeling grew slightly. He surveyed the refreshment table seeing some punch as well as some sodas. "What do you want to drink?" he asked, ready to pour something into a cup for her.

Sumi cackled a bit when Deskri walked out of the ballroom. He probably was heading towards the dorm even after she told him not to. Well, she TRIED being nice and spare him from the horror...
No...no she didn't. Reverse psychology was fun, wasn't it?
She then looked to Rasiel with a grin, messing with her hair a bit.
"I do suppose I owe you an apology," she said, her smile becoming even more fiendish as she pressed her hand against the part of her face and began to push backwards. The part of her face that she pushed gained color, her eye turning blue and her hair turning a certain shade of blond that he should be familiar with.
"I just couldn't pass on the opportunity of making Deskri pissed at you..." Her voice wasn't the same either. It sounded like the angel teen that part of her face was mimicking. She then shook her head and her face returned to normal. "Moment of weakness...you know how that can be..." Her voice was now normal too. She grinned again giving him a quick pat on the shoulder before heading back to the punch bowl to fetch herself another drink.

Mira walked over to the table with Edmund, holding hands. As he asked her what she wanted to drink and she thought for a moment. "Juice sounds good!" she replied with a smile. She waited for him to pour it for her as it seemed he had wanted to. Mira took a sip and it tasted good as she licked her lips and hummed happily. She took another sip, and pulled the cup down slowly as she paused, her eyes catching sight of the monochrome girl walking toward the table that they were at. Mira stared at her with wide eyes, taking a step back from her. The vision she had seen earlier had stricken quite a bit of fear into her as she was filled with a terrible fright, freezing up as though she had seen a ghost. Mira could feel her intent, it wasn't of anything good, she was evil and she knew it.
Rasiel watched her change half her face to look like Sonnet and he began to fill with an uncontrollable rage. He had this whole time assumed that this girl he saw was someone who kept changing her image to look like Sonnet, but that she really wasn't Sonnet. Rasiel followed quickly behind her to the table. As she had reached the table, he grabbed her shoulder and pulled her in a way to turn her around to look at him. "So it really was you that played that sick joke! I don't think you should be impersonating Sonnet anymore! What you did was wrong, and you shouldn't do it again!!" he yelled, as he stared her straight in the face with eyes full of rage. "Here me right now, whoever the hell you are. You leave Deskri alone!" he commanded, his anger beginning to get the better of him.

Sumi laughed. Oh, this was going to be fun.
"I have no interest in harming your little boytoy, not physically anyway. He likes that sort of thing after all," she said with a shrug before looking towards the door, a heavy sigh passed from her lips.
"And besides, if you're so worried about him, you might want to follow him. After all, looking upon the room where one's best friend had been brutally tortured can break someone badly. I warned him not to go there, but he probably did anyway...I just hope he doesn't find the knives..." Her somber face turned into another fiendish grin as she looked back at Rasiel, arms crossed.

That very last comment had struck a sudden cord with Rasiel as the look of rage faded from his eyes and a look of deep thought replaced it. He shifted his eyes, beginning to assess the whole thing in his mind. If something had really happened to Sonnet, and Deskri saw that.. The thoughts raced through his mind, he knew that he would feel so terrible to see his own best friend to be hurt that he may be driven to hurt himself or even kill himself. The same could probably be said for Deskri. Rasiel then returned a stern gaze to Sumi, trying to cover up his worry and panic. "If I find you had something to do with this, you better pray I don't find you again.." he threaten in a low tone, shoving her only slightly as he let go of her shoulder and then ran across the ballroom to leave as he darted around the corner after passing the doors. He just hoped he got there quick enough to make sure that Deskri didn't do anything harmful to himself.

Andy groaned a little as she winced while trying to pull herself off of Aiden. "I'm so sorry, Aiden!" she exclaimed again, feeling like she may have hurt him bad or something. She rolled off of him and sat up, placing a hand to her face, it was hurting from hitting him. "I think I'm okay..." she spoke as she removed her hand as was immediately surprised by the sight of blood. Andy began to panic slightly as she had never really seen her own blood before. She had apparently caused herself a bit of a nose bleed from hitting him, one that wasn't really serious and had pretty much already stopped bleeding. She just sat there, staring at the blood on her hand with wide eyes, unable to speak a word.

Edmund had been in the process of pouring himself a drink after handing Mira's hers when that strange monochrome girl headed towards the table. He spotted Mira's face at her approach and saw that she was scared. Edmund didn't like this strange girl, no not at all. First she had been saying something to Deskri and made him all upset and now she was scaring Mira. He set his cup down and started to move between her and Mira. Edmund didn't know what he'd do if she scared Mira more but boy was he starting to feel the rage bubbling up. He knew that was bad, and he knew he shouldn't lose control here at the ball but he was having trouble pushing it down.
He listened to her taunting a boy who looked about Deskri's age but was taller and to his threat back to her. He then watched that same boy go the way Deskri had gone. He wasn't aware of it but his normally gentle brown eyes had formed into a glare at this girl and the rage deep down was reflected.

Mira closed her eyes and tried to block the image of the monochrome girl out of her head. It was no use however, as she just couldn't feel anything but fear, it overwhelmed her as she dropped her cup and vanished beneath the tablecloth under the snack table. She curled up for a moment wishing she could be anywhere, or anyone else. She had wished so hard to be anyone but herself that she accidentally set off her mimic power and her hair shortened into a boy cut, turning a dark purple. Her eyes sunk in just a bit as they became very dark with eyeliner. Even her clothes changed, until she had the exact appearance of Deskri. She hadn't noticed her change in appearance as she then darted out from beneath the other side of the table. She looked at Sumi then to Edmund and then turned and ran out of the ballroom. Her transformation had been so quick under the table, that it looked like she had run under the table and scared "Deskri" into coming out from under the table as though he had been there the whole time. She stopped as she had made it through the doors and leaned against the wall for a moment, sighed, then began to walk off, head down as she was to frightened to return to the ballroom for a while.

[ASU IS A FAILURE. YES INDEED.]
"It's fine, really..." He shook his head a little, face steadily turning red as he realized what had just happened. Did that really count as a kiss? it was just a trip... "Oh, Andy you're bleeding!" He moved closer, looking her over, but stopped as he saw Mira dive under the table. "Mira?" He looked from the table back to Andy. Edmund was with Mira, she'd be okay... Andy was bleeding, that was more important.
