Shinnies

Ceres and Cassara got a late start into town. They spent several hours looking from shop to shop. Cassara picked out several she liked, and Ceres payed for each one and helped her to put them on.

"One for each leg, each arm, and your tail... That is five." Ceres chuckled. "You are onto a good start for collecting these shinnies."

Cassara's tail wagged happily as she laughed with her mother. "Thank You so much Mommy! They are so pretty. I am never going to hide my horde, I'm going to wear it." Cassara pranced ahead a bit.

"I suppose that could be a wise choice. But you'll have to have a good way to defend yourself and your horde. But, Cassara what will you do once you have to many to wear?" Ceres watched her prance off.

Cassara stopped, and looked at Ceres. "I suppose I could also learn to use a breath weapon like Rhine. If I ever have to many I'll share them with other girl dragons who like shinnies." Cassara smiled.

Ceres nodded softly. "Wise beyond your years... Just remember what you've said, and hope you never become greedy." Ceres smiled, and led her into another shop and found some stick on ear rings.

Cassara nuzzled Ceres as she put them on her ears.

"Alright then let us return home." Ceres rubbed the top of her head.

When Cassara and Ceres arrived back home her sisters where waiting in the living room.

Tinker floated forward holding two boxes in her hands, and a smile on her face. "First off your room is done. Done in the same way as Rhine's, just a tad bit less. Second off, I have a couple things for you. Two lock boxes like Rhine's only designed after your look. It is for your diary, and extra shinnies." Tinker smiled.

Cassara nuzzled Tinker, and smiled. "Thank You!"

Perian stepped forward, and handed her a bracelet. "We've each dug through our things and found a bracelet that we want to share with you."

Each sister helped Cassara with the bracelet given.

Cassara went wide eyed, and a tear rolled down her cheek. "Thank You Everyone..." She nuzzled everyone.

Rhine's Diary Entry 10

Rhine was still hot under the collar from his mothers scoldings had brought him seeking refudge in his room. He stripped out of the wet clothing, and then proceeded to picked up his room until he found his lock box containing his diary. Flipping it open he took out the diary and the pen, and flopped onto his sofa. Stretching out.

A human body I've finally accomplished. I cannot say that it was accomplished in the most reasonable fashion, however; a more than pleasurable one.

I didn't experience much pain, just a queasy feeling in my stomach. I am going to have to learn control on changing forms.

My first kiss with Jasmine would have been perfect had our mothers not caught us. Guess it wouldn't have been so bad had I had my shorts with me. Then again cannot say that I was expecting for either to happen.

My temper got the best of me, and I ended up dragging Jasmine away. Later, on her will and my own I took her into Grove to visit GraMa.

After calming down, and subtle hints of scolding we left. I knew my mother would be waiting, so we used the window.

Private time included me holding a damp Jasmine in my arms, and...

Again we got caught kissing; however, at least this time I had on a pair of shorts. I don't think our mothers saw it that way. They seemed very irritated with us.

This lead to a quick leaving.

Despite me being told to stay, I did run after her.

Now, my mother in furious with me...

Rhine put down the pen, again streatching. With the diary on his stomach he took a nap.

Sneaking a Peek

Rhine stretched, and stood up. It was supper time, he was hungry, and not thinking of locking up the diary, and hiding the box.

Cassara watched him go down the hall, and out of site. A little curious as to why the shutting and locking of doors as of late she slipped into his room, and noticed the unprotected diary.

Skimming through the page she found little of interest till the last page. Here he was professing uncontrollable desires. She stifled her laugh, and then slithered from the room leaving the diary opened to the last page.

She arrived at the dinner table snicking at Rhine. Rhine gave her what the look back. Ceres shot a glance between the two.

After supper Rhine remember the diary he had left unattended and went back to his room to put it up. Noticing that it was left open to the last page, he gave a second thought, and then put up the diary.

Switch

They awoke before dawn, and where out the door without a word from mother. It was late noon when they reached the opening of the mountain.

Rhine lead the carefully in, Cassara following closely behind.

"How did you even find this place Rhine." Cassara was a bit timid in voice.

"By chance I suppose..." Rhine nudged her. "Cheer up."

Cassara sighed. "That is easier for you to say. You're thinner and on two legs. I thicker, and on for legs."

Rhine chuckled. "I was a lot bigger than you when I was your age."

They entered a large cavern filled with lots of broken pots, and plates.

"You expect to find treasure in this mess?" Cassara was a bit socked.

Rhine started to turn things over. "You didn't have to come you know..."

Cassara didn't say another word, but starting turning things over as well.

Thirty minutes of turning up the place Cassara had found a shiny object. "Rhine..." Her voice was muffled as she held it in her mouth.

Rhine who was taking a break looked up. "What you go there?"

Cassara pranced over to him dropping it into his hand.

The object was a ball of gold no bigger than a grape. It had a simple design with something written into the design.

"We'll it is something..." Rhine said with a sigh. "But, probably not what you were hoping for."

"It is still pretty. Can you read it?" Cassara smiled, and nudged him trying to make her brother feel better. After all, he had just been trying to do something nice for her, he didn't know it would turn up a dud.

"It isn't in human or dragon... But yeah I can try."

Several attempts later, the two of the felt funny. Rhine had managed to read a spell aloud that caused them to switch bodies.

"Not a word of this to mom..." Rhine in Cassara's body said as he shot Cassara in his body a look.

Cassara nodded softly. "Can we still keep the shiny thing?"

"I suppose to, but no reading it aloud again." Rhine sighed, as he streatched out in her body.

Cassara nodded pocketing it.
