It's crazy how much these kind of social behaviors are conditioned into our minds from such a young age.
The other day out of not having time to put a bra I went braless and was paranoid until I got used to it and realized no one really noticed. (At least I don't think they did....) It's easier if your nipples don't naturally stick out, but also- I've realized that the real reason bras are there for the same reason why women never showed their ankles in old times - to prevent the opposite sex from looking at them as being "Sexual". It's insane.
Some people will say bras are there so your breasts don't 'sag', but honestly, if you don't care about that and realize that opinion is false, what other reason is there to wear a bra other than paranoia that the other sex is looking at you in a sexual manner? And if it wasn't that way, if women more often went 'bra free', the part of your body-your breasts, wouldn't be so sexual 'looking' to everyone. It's just one big psychological fetish.
And if you're in primary school still?
God help you if you don't wear a bra, because that's what 'grownups' do; and boys will tease you for having nipples that stick out in the cold. The main reason why I started wearing one in the first place, actually. As far as I can remember.
I wonder when it's going to become more well known that bras actually reduce lymph flow and so contribute to toxins staying near the breasts.
Since that day at the store, I haven't worn a bra since. I probably would in something that 'requires' it - but for the most part, even in plain tshirts, it's all good for me to just keep on not wearing.
