Nah, a scotch bonnet is currently one of the hottest chillis in the world, only the dorset naga is hotter as far as I'm aware.
I ate a quarter of a full chilli and felt like I was going to die xd

I can't remember if it even came back up or whether it burned if it did. With that in mind, if it did come back up at all, it probably didn't burn.
