'You look absolutely stunning, Sayuri-san! The ornaments really do add a great deal to the hairstyle!' Kioku said. 'As for the interior, my one friend helped me to design it. She is very marvelous at making the interiors of ordinary buildings look so nice! She picked out all the painting and such that you see around the building.' Kioku said answering Sayuri-san's question. 'And, Ayami, you did a very fine job with the ornaments!'

"I'm sure you will. I have apprenticed one maiko (maybe 2, soon) and, very soon, I shall have to show her the salon," Sayuri promised. "I'm sure I will see you very soon."
With that, Sayuri took her leave of the quaint salon ready to tell her whole okiya of its wonderful service and staff.

Picking up a broom from against the back wall, she began sweeping the floor of any stray wax. Glancing over to her employer, she tried to make casual conversation. "Did Sayuri-sama just rent the kanzashi, or was that a purchase?" she asked. As there had been no yen exchange, she had no idea. It would really be up to the okiya to pay them for Sayuri-sama's visit.

((OOC: Since geisha rarely wash their hair, "renting" hair ornaments would be out of the question for hygiene reasons. The tab would be made for the Okiya...kind of like credit...and the okiya would repay it.))

((*wince* they wash their hair once a week if that don't they....*shudders* that's probably one of the only reasons i wouldn't want to be a geisha in real life...i kind of like washing my hair...how do they take baths or showers then??))

((Please forgive me everyone. Recently I haven't been able to be on. But, now I will try to be on more. I think I can at least. I apologize agian. *Cries*. Lol, long post of my ranting. X.X xd ))
Akasha walked back into the salon with some noodles for everyone. Akasha looked to them. She put them down on an empty table in the back of the salon when she noticed Sayuri-san. She quickly left the noodles and rushed over to Sayuri, she bowed to her and said, "Hello Sayuri-san. I'm sorry I was not here to help out." She picked her head up and smiled to her. "You do look very nice." She said to her. Then she looked to the other girls, "Sorry." she said meaning it, "I did bring noodles for everyone though if you get hungry. I think I got an extra one too if you would like one Sayuri-sama." she said. "Nothing fancy I just made them fast at my house, but they are pretty tasty. I also brought in some more extra supplies from around my house I had bought at a sale." She said going over to the stuff she brought and taking out a couple of nice bracletes and some shampoo and such. "I figured maybe we could give a necklace to those who come to the salon." she said handing a necklace to Sayuri. She looked down at her feet. "I am very sorry agian, for not being here." She said feeling bad.

'Why thank you! Those noodles look so yummy. That was so nice of you to bring them!' Kioku then stepped over to Sayuri and made a deep bow as she left. 'Well, I guess we can all sit around that table and eat some tasty noodles since we don't have any customers at the moment.' Kioku was very excited because she had not eaten all day. She was very grateful to have the noodles!

Ayami gave her fellow co-worker a wink. She had to admit that her growling stomach had had her wondering about lunch. "Thank you so much Akasha-san, the noodles look delicious," she said as she sat. "Itadakimasu!" With a cheery smile she took a bite. "Mmmm! This is great! Can I be so bold as to ask you for the recipe?"

Akasha smiled and sat down with the girls. "Why thank you. I'm very glad you like them." she said with a cheerful tone. She picked up a bowl and started to eat. She looked to Ayami, "Why it's pretty simple. The noodles are prepared normaly on the stove. I just have this special sauce like ingredient that gives it it's redish brown color. My mother taught me how to make it when I was younger. I guess it sort of runs in our family, because my great grandmother was a chef and she made it up." She said stuffing more noodles into her mouth. She loved them herself and was also hungry. She smiled and ate another mouthful.
