"Nay, good man," Carlton protested, truly unsure of how to treat the Halfling. He set his attention on the Nobleman instead, because he could interact with Noblemen.
"Stay your hand," he bade the man, shaking his head. "It is only proper of me to handle the affairs of the purse. I am ashamed that I did not think of it earlier!" He clapped the nobleman on the back. "Good man, sir, good man..."
Carlton was about to wander inside and find the barkeep to arrange things when the Halfling complained of physical ailments. He turned to her with concern written all over his face.

"Oh you poor dear.." Kira said, her heart nearly leaping from its chest as she felt for the poor thing. Her head hurt to and she wished that pain on no other creature under the blue skies.
She rested a reassuring hand over Lelain's head and cast her a sympathetic gaze.
"Would you like to come inside with me and my friends? Maybe we can find something to ease your pain and make you feel all better?"
Kira offered her a reassuring smile and her other hand, meant to he taken and held onto, as she extended the invitation.

Cronos turned away from Jace, realizing how absorbed into there discussion they were becoming, and towards the nobleman. "He makes a good point everyone. Perhaps we should seek shelter and nourishment for the night."

Carlton's hardy slap to his back had the nobleman skipping forward unprepared for the action. He shook his head, but with mirth apparent on his features, and had no problem allowing someone else to pay the bill this time. However when the man turned to the Halfling who was now feigning illness Tristram was reminded of the elf's statement about rushing to every damsel in distress. He wondered how the prince managed to move from one spot to another without taking two steps back to help a damsel.
The fact that the damsel in this case was a Halfling gave Tristram the pause he needed to observe. The Halfling seemed focused on Kira for some reason, seeking comfort in the woman for some...Tristram chuckled for a moment when the idea of the Halflings nature came to him.
'Well that is certainly a damsel the prince has never encountered. A woman who would have nothing to do with him, or his charm.'
"Good elves will you be joining us inside? Whenever we do go inside..."

"But we never even went on the stroll... Oh, today was such a beautiful afternoon, as well."
With so many intentions to leave this place, somehow, he just kept getting drug back in by another traveler. He was beginning to regret ever stopping here.
"I guess there is no sense in crying over spilled milk. Though, I fail to see how we can find shelter in the Tavern we all left from. Is there not an Inn?"

[ MEDARA ]
Medara took Kira's hand and pretended to mistake her meaning, by wrapping her other arm around Kira's neck and faking a woeful sob. He buried his face in the maiden's chest and kept on the fake cries muffled.
When he looked up, he was sure to wipe the grin off his face and made his voice especially pitiful. "Y-yes please," she mumbled, before sniffling again.
This was, by far, the most gullible young woman he had ever met. Medara had spent a great deal of time cursing his fate, but now he found his womanly body far more useful than it had ever been before.

Cronos watched the others go inside, he whistled again and Samantha, appeared from atop one of the many buildings. A small bit of blood on her beak, Cronos wiped it away and smiled "I hope you gave the mouse a chance to run first." he laughed slightly and let the bird crawl up to his shoulder, he then followed the others.

Pulled into an embrace she did not expect Kira's face lit up in surprise and then softened as she bought into the Halfling's faux tears.
"You poor girl!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms about her to give her a comforting squeeze, and then released her when Leilan leaned back. She took the halfling's hand in her own and tugged her close as she turned to both the Nobleman and the Prince.
"Thank you sirs for your offer, I am in debt to you both for your kindness but for now I feel I must attend this poor woman before I could repay either of you."
She paused, considering Jace's words, and recalled that there was an inn in the village.
"There is an Inn here Sir Alaris, however it is across the river on the other side of the village. Perhaps you will get your stroll after all.."
Kira then leaned down to Lelain once more, concern etched in her face.
"Will you make it to the Inn Lelain or do you seek more immediate accommodations?"

A Prince!
Princes were interesting things, very interesting. They also had many shiny things with them, like the circlet resting on his brow. Nggrh liked shiny things. Lots of them.
Shifting his apron over his stomach, Nggrh made a beeline for the Prince. He went past the little girl sobbing in the maiden's chest, and everything else and all else then he went straight up to the prince and introduced himself.
"Good day, sir, I am Nggrh. It's such a pleasure to meet you, I've never met a Prince before, but I assure you, my wife has told me much about their manners and their chivalry! I really am impressed. So kind- unlike my wife, let me tell you, she's a right bear. Hates it when I do this, hates it when I do that, really if only she were a Prince. If only she were nice and chivalrous as a Prince!"
As he introduced himself, Nggrh caught sight of the pretty jewels on the Prince's sword. It was shiny, and Nggrh really liked it. He unclipped the sheathe and sword from the Prince's belt and held up to the light as he spoke before sliding it through one of the strings that tied his apron around his neck, the hilt keeping the sword from just slipping through the straps. "Yes, very nice to meet you, highness. Very nice."

[Ivan]
Ivan gave a look to the tavern he saw before him. It was a fare place that seemed like it had seen many a patron. He had been at sea for far too long this time around and was looking forward to a nice enjoyable night with a mug in one hand and maybe a pretty lass in the other. The closer the dwarf got to the place the more he could hear the commotion of others just outside the fair establishment. He rested his hands on the shafts of his twin axes strapped to his side, and gave the group a once over.
'two elves, bah, they always ruin me fun, and humans, by the krakens salty breath they seem awake. Nice ta see tem up and about it tis. A pair of men and a fine looking lass, and a Halfling? What in ta world is this now?'
Ivan strolled up to the group as they began talking about going inside for a round of drinks, and the man dressed finer than the rest said he would foot the bill. Now to a normal person that would sound like a nice idea, but to a dwarf just off the sea it sounded like the best idea in the world, and an invitation as well. He just needed to get himself into the group was all, and he would have the mug taken care of. The dwarf strolled up to the lot and gave, what seemed like an introduction of sorts.
"What be going on here? It looks like a gathering of ta races. Any chance an old sea dog like me self could help complete the gathering?"

"Ahh, excellent. Then let us be off. The earlier we leave, the sooner we can be at the Inn, and me in a bed. Oh, and I'm sure the Prince or the nobleman would not mind carrying the little lass. They are strapping young men. Almost like carrying a small child on your shoulders."
He turns to leave, not checking to see if the others were following. he was so focused on sleeping in a bed, which he had not seen in months, that he had forgotten that he didn't know where the river was. A few moments later, he came back into sight of everyone, an embarrassed look on his face.
"Which way did you say it was, again?"

Cronos looked down at the new arrival. A dwarf he presumed by his speech and appearance. Although many Elves disliked dwarfs, a conflict seemingly going back for ages, Cronos had no negative feelings for them as a group. Being one who dedicated much of his life to study, he had read thousands of tales of dwarfs and had come to realize, they like every other living creature, could still serve a purpose. "Greetings sir Dwarf, it does appear to be a gathering of Races here. If youd like to join us you are more than welcome. Many of us are going to the Inn to retire, I was thinking of staying here for a drink of Ale before I rest."

"Greetings, N- ... Nggrh," Carlton tried, but he was drowned out by Nggrh's long ramble. He did notice when Nggrh lifted his sword and he frowned at the man. Perhaps this was a simple misunderstanding?
He frowned at man, flattered by his compliments of course, but absolutely baffled. "I'm sorry, good Nggrh, but, ah, that is my sword you have." Carlton took it back, sliding it out of the Gnome's apron and re-clipping it to his belt. "And it certainly is good to meet you."
He attempted a smile, but everything around him was so chaotic and not what the Prince was used to.

Alaris
Upon his return, he noticed that someone else had joined their little gathering. A smile seemed to creep onto his face as he saw a dwarf, wandering up to them, waddling slightly with his short little legs. Judging by his dialect, one could say he may have been ahead of himself on the drinking. The stench of alcohol reached even Jace's nose, from such a distance. Wondering how easily infuriated this dwarf may be, Jace waited for the opportunity to insult the man. He would begin conversation between them, completely forgetting about his question to Kira, and of the Inn entirely.
"Well... to what do we owe the pleasure? I do not know of any docks nearby. Why would a sailor, such as yourself, be so far from his vessel?"
He created a small breeze, immediately putting the dwarf downwind from him. It was a desperate attempt to alleviate the smell, but to no avail.
