Personality: If Ben has a demon living within him, he's quashed it pretty thoroughly so that it will never manifest, or he will refuse to acknowledge it if it does. You see, Ben has an unusual (oh, hell it's more than that, it's unnatural) obsession with his blue and black sister, Kidogo'Mwanamizi. Because of how closely almost everyone in the pride is related, he's got this idea that it's all right for siblings to also be lovers, and since he knows she'll be more important than he is, even if he is truly a demon, he believes he'll have more of a chance to be with her as a slave, even if he only serves her like any other slave, than he would as a demon. The problem is that he makes no attempt to hide or disguise his feelings for her, which is quite a problem indeed. As far as actual personality goes, Ben tries very hard to be a perpetual blank slate so that Kidogo'Mwanamizi can write whatever she wants him to be and he'll be that. At heart, however, he is manipulative in passive ways. For instance, he'll be completely stubborn and recalcitrant unless a specific person (guess who) tells him to do a thing. Otherwise he's stoic and stubborn and not unintelligent, though perhaps he is unwise.
History: Well, for starters there's the matter of Ben's obsession with Kidogo'Mwanamizi. I would love to see some sort of RP between them where he basically submits himself to her in any way that might possibly please her. And RP where he confesses his love for her. Obviously she doesn't have to return his affections, and can have him beaten bloody for them or whatever, but I think it would be an interesting thing.
Stemming from that I'd really enjoy seeing his obsession earn him some punishment and torment from others in the pride, be they his own family or other people, even other slaves. He won't enjoy it - he's not a masochist - but he'll tell himself that it is for a just cause and endure it without complaint.
It could also be interesting if someday the demon inside him that he'd suppressed all his life suddenly made its presence known and drove him absolutely batshit insane. This plot could result in his death, I realize, depending on how he went insane and what he did in that state, but I still think it would be interesting.

Personality: Greygor is a nasty brute of a lion. Perhaps it comes from the fact that he is a mountain in lion form. Really, really stinking big. It just made it too easy to be a bully from the very first. In many ways he is something like a mad dog, and not wholly to be trusted with any but the most explicit orders because he takes more pleasure in his bullying than is really necessary, making excuses to be excessively violent in his doings. He is the sort of unpleasant lion who would rape someone and then kill them and skin them and wear their skin. In that order if he was feeling particularly sane. The only reason to keep him around at all is that despite his inherent barbarism, Greygor is a very good fighter and more or less fearless. There's not a lot of intellect behind all that muscle, by the way.
History: Greygor has a younger brother, Sandor, who left the pride rather than continue to be a victim to his brother. This was after the death of their sister, which happened under questionable circumstances during the boys' teenage years. Greygor was not bothered by the loss of his siblings and went on to become a guard, where he found an outlet for his violent tendencies.

Personality: Bẹ̀rù was born in the Bonelands pride and has grown up a strong, and very proud member. She is very heavily involved in her culture. Though she may not be the best hunter in the pride, no one can deny that this lioness has spirit. She seems to answer to her own calling in many ways, and makes her own path. Others may find themselves looking up to her for her ability to always stand strong to what she thinks is right, despite any or all opposition.
History: A few years ago she made a lasting friendship with the newly arrived twins Tàpá (Mtorolite) and Iyõ (Vesale). She helped to teach them about the pride and the lands, and appears to get along with them well. Bẹ̀rù and Mímö sínú (Depawsit) have never gotten along. When around each other, they tend to disagree with one another just to cause a conflict. [In fact, they can be downright vicious]. What the reason, exactly, for all the fighting is, is really very hard for anyone to determine, though everyone has their little rumours.
Recently she has found herself an unexpected and somewhat unwilling mother due to the untimely onset of a period of heat which caught her unawares and in the company of a strange lion from another pride. She bore two daughters.
