He couldn't move. Couldn't think. Everything stopped in his body. No heartbeat. No breath. It couldn't be. It simply couldn't be. Could it? Oh...it was. For a few moments, Tsuzuki had been looking around casually, preparing to take off though the town looking for clues, and then...there he was. Darkness tried to overcome the brunette's vision, but he could not...would not...allow it. Even so, he was sick to his stomach. Three deep breaths, and he made up his mind. Marching over to where the man was sitting, Tsuzuki summoned up all of his courage, prepared to take Muraki out of there and finally settle this score. "Muraki..." he growled, glaring amethyst daggers down at the doctor, "...you b*****d."

That was unexpected. As grey eyes moved from glancing at his wristwatch, and back to the newspaper in his hands, Kazutaka's vision took in the appearance of someone storming over to where he was sitting. 'I don't know him...' Muraki thought to himself, folding the paper in his lap. Being stared down at certainly put the man at a disadvantage, and he felt rather self conscious about how this other man was glaring at him. 'Did he just... he said me name and called me a b*****d! But I'm sure I've never seen him before!' Standing and picking up his bag, Muraki's grey gaze focused on Tsuzuki alone, "Dare desu ka?" he asked politely, not wanting to further offend the seemingly enraged man. Of course he could have said it even more politely... but Kazutaka wasn't really in the mood to deal with a seemingly deranged lunatic.

Eye twitching, the shinigami could barely keep himself from reaching out and tearing the doctor's heart from his chest. Who was he? Really? "Don't ******** with me, Muraki. After all you've done to me, to my friends, and to innocent people! I know we might be in public, but you don't need to play so innocent. I want to settle this!" Tears were welling up in amethyst eyes. He was going to cry, not just out of anger, but from pain, and fear. Despite having the upper hand, Tsuzuki was terrified, but he refused to be the weak on like he had always been.

Micheal broke the shield and stood there for a moment. They'd dissappeared. He growled and looked around shifting slowly back to his mostly human form. This was annoying, he still was no nearer to finding the angel. He frowned and called upon his own infernal powers to remake his shredded clothes. "What in all hells was that about?" Micheal pulled the army cap low on his head and looked at the crowd of human innocently going about their business. They really shouldn't have left him alone with all these mortal. He shook his head, somehow it just didn't seem worth the effort. There were other places to cause mischief now that he knew the angel wasn't here.

"Settle? What?" But before Muraki could really begin to ask questions, he noticed that the man in front of him was about to start crying. With a sigh, Kazutaka rubbed the back of his neck, an obvious sign that he was slightly nervous. "Look... you must have me mixed up with another person. I mean, yes, my name is Muraki but I honestly have no idea who you are or what it is you're wanting to settle."

One single tear ran down Tsuzuki's cheek. He had hoped he could hold it back, but no. This was tearing him to shreds inside. Why was Muraki pretending like this? He had always been one to enjoy making himself known, and surely he had something to do with this demon, right? But..what if he was wrong? Oh gods..he was about to go insane. Grabbing the silver haired man, he kissed him, so furious that he couldn't think of anything else that would do. This would make Muraki break his little charade. "Do you remember me now!" he hissed.

If there was one thing that Kazutaka expected this man to do... This certainly wasn't it! And that kiss wasn't just a kiss. No... even Muraki could tell that there was rage fulled passion behind the gesture. Pulling away, silver eyes narrowed. "I'm engaged, you know." the man spoke, hoping that might help back the other man off. "I'll admit you're not the first guy who's kissed me, but I honestly don't remember you." Of course Kazutaka knew he had to convince this guy that he had the wrong person. After all, this stranger basically had him stuck with his calves pressed against the bench he stood in front of. It would certainly be awkward and attract a crowd if he tried to push past him at this rate. "I don't know you." he reiterated.

"You...really don't know me..." he was in shock. Something was so very wrong that he couldn't even comprehend it. Muraki had obviously lost his memories. For some reason, Tsuzuki couldn't fathom why, it hurt. He wanted Muraki to remember him. It was as if part of the shinigami needed it. "Muraki...how could you not remember...all those years! It..it wasn't even that long ago." Those jewel like eyes registered shock, and, somehow,...loss.

Anger flashed over Kazutaka's expression, "Why the hell would I remember you?" he asked. Misplaced anger, the doctor knew, but he was enraged at the thought that he should divulge his problem of memory loss to a complete stranger. "I've no idea who you are, but if I've done something then I'm sorry for it." Kazutaka sighed, trying to calm himself down. "I really don't know you. So please, I'm going to miss my train at this rate." he spoke, reaching down to pick up his bag.

"B..bu..but!" he sputtered. What should he do? He could leave the man, let him go on with his life. He obviously remembered nothing, so he wouldn't be of any harm, right? Even so, Tsuzuki couldn't let him go. Not like this. Not after everything the had been through? Been through? No...they hadn't gone through anything together. Muraki had tormented him, hurt everyone who was important to him, and killed countless innocents. Unable to stop himself, he grabbed the doctor by the hand, beginning to panic. "Wait! Please...you have to remember me! You..you loved me for so long and..." he didn't want to go into the things he did...not now at least, "...and we...we...just look into my eyes! You have to remember me!" The purple in those eyes was a sorrowful shade, tinged with tears he was trying not to spill. He felt as if he were going insane, again. Why couldn't he let this go? What the hell was he trying to prove? There was no answer for him...only a desperate need. Perhaps for closure, perhaps for something more.

Kazutaka froze, "I don't love you and I don't know you." he spoke softly, suddenly feeling rather bad for the man who had a hold of his hand. "Look, I..." Wincing, Muraki brought one hand up to his head, pressing against the fake eye as he doubled over in pain. "A... atama ga..." the doctor hissed, unable to move.

"Muraki!" he grabbed the other man, supporting his weight. "Oh gods...you're sick!" the panic was rising in his voice. Well, of course he was...the doctor couldn't remember anything. Surely that classified as sick, though Tsuzuki thought it was far better than the kind of sick Muraki had been previously. "Let me get you to a doctor. I'll...I'll take care of you." Truthfully, he was mentally kicking himself for committing to help the murderer. What if all this were a ruse to capture him again? No...this was real, even Muraki wasn't that good at lying. Facts were facts, Tsuzuki could not let someone who needed help suffer, even if it was the man who had caused him so much strife.

Quickly, Kazutaka pushed himself out of Tsuzuki's arms. "Let me go." he hissed, grey eyes glaring at the shinigami. "I don't need a doctor. I am one." With a sigh, Muraki ran a hand through his hair, picking up his bag once more. "If you're so set on trying to make me remember you, then why not follow me?" he suggested quickly. "Or else I'm going to miss my tain and I need to be in Kyoto tonight."

"Ky...o...to..." he stammered. Perhaps he was in a dream, he thought. Or a nightmare... It didn't matter. He had made a promise to help the man, and he obviously wasn't well. Still...this was dangerous. Anything to do with Muraki was a high risk situation. He wanted so badly to let somebody...Hisoka, Tatsumi, Watari...anyone really...know what was going on, yet he knew what would happen if he did. They would pull Tsuzuki out immediately and probably kill the doctor. "Kyoto it is then." he agreed before he could talk himself into changing his mind. Smiling, he followed close by the man, wondering what he should say now in such an awkward situation. All he could do was keep up the smiling, the only thing he knew how to do when he was this uneasy.

"Yes, Kyoto." Muraki replied, already annoyed with this stranger. "May I ask your name? Since obviously you know mine." He was walking however as he asked, moving toward the train which had pulled in not long before. 'Just great! Well... at least there's a chance that Oriya knows this guy.' he thought to himself, glancing over his shoulder at Tsuzuki after entering the train.
