Daisuke no Kage Dark N Daisuke no Kage I first got into System right after Toxicity was released. I was at a friend's house and he said someone burned him a copy of a "weird CD". We listened to it, and it was Toxicity. XD
I can mostly remember hearing Forest, Bounce, and Science, but I was instantly in love. Now they are my favorite band and I consider myself the most hardcore fan in my entire High School. >D
Oh, by the way, where do you live Dark N? 89X is also a local new rock station around here. o__o
I live in Michigan, near Detroit.
Except I live closer to Toledo.
I haven't been in this guild in such a long time...and look how my thread has grown!

I was about 12 and watching an music video show one morning. The video for Chop Suey came on and I thought "WTF? That's pretty strange AND PRETTY BLOODY GOOD. Wow. Look at that guy's beard."

the first time i heard system was in my friend's HOT brother's car. She was tellin me for months that system was an awesome band, so when they gave me a ride home they played his mixxed system cd, and Violent Pornography got me hooked...come on the name of that just kind of defines part of me... biggrin

well ya i saw them on MTV 4 the first time the song they sang was Chop Suie ya that was it well then i was hooked peace out and rock on

I'm not sure if it was the first time, but I remeber putting one of my sister's CDs in the stereo and after a few songs SoaD came on with sugar, Chop Suey, and Toxicity. I didn't like it at first, but after actually listening to the lyrics, I loved it!!

my first song (i think) i've heard was Boom and I loved it! I'm against war period. and i was so happy a band made a song against it, so yeah, now i'm hooked on SOAD *twitch* can't *twitch* stop thinking about them! eek

I remember, I was sitting in my bacement with my gf (at the time) watching Yahoo Launch when the vid for Sugar came on, I fell in love with the song instantly...I had all the CDs within a month sweatdrop then I bought mesmerise when it came out and hypnotise when it came out.

The very first song I heard was "Boom" on MTV, but I had no idea who it was but thought it was pretty good. But i never heard from that band again and I htought eh...so a long time passed then my buddy Magaly and I were in photo class at school and she said to listen to a song from her new cd she just got, aka stole from Target, *coughcough* so I said ok and she played the song it was "Cigaro" and i'm like holy s**t this is awesome, so all through class we listened to SOAD I was addicted to "Cigaro" "Violent Pornography" and "Question!"
That's about it, then I got my best bud Raffa addicted as well. mrgreen It's a great thing to pass on, even though my mom calls it "scary music", watever.... stare ....

I do! my friend was staying over at my house after my sister gave him his privat viola lesson so we went to the computer. He pushed me away and after 10 minutes of arguing he made me watch the Hypnotize video. After that I bought the song. I listened to it a lot then got the album. After I listened to that a few times I got the rest of the albums and became a huge fan. Now my friends doesn't do viola lessons and has a bass guitar. Me and my three friends now try to imitate parts of their songs.

I loved sytem for a while...toxicity was my first...it was pretty damn good...then BYOB...after buying their self named album...which rocks!!!...i was hooked!
