As Luo watched the short spectacle before, Luo smiled once more as he bowed his head slowly in return. "Good morning Kaizen Minoru. I request that you try your best to refer to me simply as Mizukage as I had no part in the creation of this world, therefore I do not deserve the name of a lord." Looking at the smoke which cleared from the now dispelled clone, he laughed a bit. "The stronger and smarter clones get, the less they enjoy being hit. Tell me Minoru, what is it you wish to gain from becoming a mist shinobi?"

Fordon walked up to the tower and held a little excitement in his chest. it would be the first time he had seen Lord Luo since he had become Mizukage. Fordon had know the Lord Kage before then of course. he had looked up to the lord kage with addmeration that placed luo as a God like figure. Fordon would go to the ends of the earth for the lord kage and fight any battle! Even if it ment dying five times or more. Lord luo had really been the only one to show him any care or worry. in a brief moment the Lord Luo had gone from a superior to a brother or father figure to Fordon. So when Lord Luo became the Mizukage Fordon was thrilled. however his duties of being a chuunin prevented him from seeing the Lord Kage till now. as he walked up Fordon saw from the open door that people were already inside and talking to the lord kage. Fordon hated having to wait while others prattled on. he also did not like being a spectacle in front of the Lord Kage-sama without good reason. instead Fordon headed to the roof to wait for a bit for the lord kages office to clear. once on the roof he sat down and meditated.

Looking at the smoke which cleared from the now dispelled clone, he laughed a bit. "The stronger and smarter clones get, the less they enjoy being hit. Tell me Minoru, what is it you wish to gain from becoming a mist shinobi?" Kai was a bit taken aback by the Mizukage's question, "I... uh..." Kai lowered his head and stared at the floor as if searching for an answer to the question in granules of the wood. He had never really thought about it, he had joined because he thought it was what his parents wanted him to do, but he had never thought of what he hoped to gain. "I... I'm not sure sir, I honestly just don't know" , Kai replied as he lifted his head back up to meet the gaze of his Kage, his eyes seemed hesitant as if he were afraid that the Mizukage would not like his answer.

Luo's smile was light as he rested his head in his right hand as he nodded. "Well Kaizen, don't look so afraid. You gave an honest answer. This is my mission for you then Minoru: find that reason, find your nindo. That, is what will allow you to keep fighting despite any circumstance. It will come to you soon enough. I hope that one day you have the opportunity to pose the question my sensei posed to me when I once stood where you stand now. Do you have any questions? This is one of the few times you'll get to ask anything of me, so think it over." As Luo finished speaking he thought about that day in his head. His reason, was for his people. The safety and protection of the people of kiri. It was that answer along with various other accomplishments that granted him the title of 'Pride of the Mist.'

Kaizen thought about it for a moment then asked, "Is it true that... something's happening at Kiri Lake? My father said not to worry, but I've heard some of the villagers talking." He was afraid for the village, afraid that something might happen, to his parents, to his friends, to everyone. He looked at the Mizukage, his eyes pleading for the reassurance, pleading that his fears were not needed.

Luo sighed a bit to himself as he sat up. The boy's eyes spoke what it was that Luo's job as kage was, and that was to keep his people feeling safe. However, it didn't mean to lie to them. "Well, nothing that hasn't been going on since I was your age. Just some tidal activity in conjunction with a stationary obstruction within the lake. Nothing you'll have to worry about for quite some time. If there's anything that should trouble you, it's your training. I look forward to testing you three, so I hope you prepare adequately." As Luo's smile returned with his last two sentences, he hoped the explanation was enough to satisfy the boy, but vague enough not to trouble him any longer.

Kai just nodded his head, though his eyes still looked a bit troubled, but he was satisfied with the answer and did not press the matter. Then with a smile Kai gave the Mizukage a thumb's up and said, "I look forward to showing what I can do!"

"Testing us? You mean Your going to train us, mizukage sir? Alright!" Exclaimed Yamatano, The Mizukage himself was gonna teach them! He couldnt wait to learn hundreds of powerful jutsus from the kage. He was just having trouble deciding which one he wanted to learn first.

Luo's smile widened as the boy's enthusiasm shone through. Nodding his head, Luo glanced at the bowls of ramen, and then back at the boy. "Well I suggest if you hope to have any chance of impressing me, you'll finish learning that jutsu before the ramen goes cold so you can eat it. I can only imagine how long that ramen took to get here so I gather you really don't have a lot of time before the steam stops completely. And no yamatano, I will be testing you to become genin, although I will be teaching you from time to time should you pass your academy exam."

With a hearty chuckle, Luo shook his head as he wagged a finger at the boy. "Weell not at least until you pass you genin exam. Then we'll see." Finishing the paperwork in record time as usual, Luo sighed to himself. Noon was around the time boredom set in and he became restless. The genin in this bunch certainly were eager though, which in a sense wad an irony given the life threatening situations they would be forced into dealing with. But nonetheless, an eager bunch was what Luo wanted, he only hoped that in their eagerness came combat prowess.

Kai looked over to LT excitedly, "Sir when can we continue our training? I want to learn how to wield a sword like my father!"

LT nodded then looked over at the mizukage. "Lou, i dont know the hunter nin style, so with your permission do you think you can train the students interested in that taijutsu, and ill take the mist sword style?" LT stood up from his chair and poured himself some coffee and sipped at it. "Do you want me to take the students to the academy to train them? Oh and do you want me to teach them all basic genjutsu, and ninjutsu?"

Luo sighed a bit as he looked at the students. "Well we'll both be learning it I guess as I have not had the time to train in it. So it'll be an experience. And no Kaizen, I'm afraid you cannot. Each taijutsu directs a shinobi in a path that he must take. It is imperative that you choose the path of a swordsman, or the path of the assasins. Maybe in time I will allow you to learn up to a certain level of the style you do not pick, but that is a choice for a jounin. And LT, we will train at the training facility, as I am apparently inclined to test you on your teaching methods and encouragement techniques."
