"It's okay." Ken's mother said, getting a cloth to clean off the wounds. "Was this from the Nibi attack?" she asked.

Sosay shook her head. "No it was from sparring with your son and another villager." she began. "The other guy used poison needles." she finished.

"Poison needles?" Ken's mother repeated, quickly heading over to the cabinet to look for some type of antidote for whatever poison would be in her system.

"Yeah but after the fight Kano gave me an antidote that was suppose to clear it." she quietly stated. Sosay watched as Ken's mom went to the cabinet.

"Ah, okay then." she said, returning to Sosay. Her hand glowed with the green of medical chakara. "Just relax, and I'll have you patched up in no time." she said with a smile, going to work at closing the cuts.

Sosay gave her a warm smile back then closed her eye's letting herself relax, while also going off into deep thought. "Ken's lucky to have a loving mother like her. Thank goodness for his thinking or else I would still be bleeding." she thought.

He returned to the window and unrolled the scroll of his family jutsu - a once mighty and respected family, turned to almost nothing by the jealousy of others. He sat on the sill, back against the frame, one leg hanging out into the sunshine.

"There you go." Ken's mother said after a little while, straightening up. All of Sosay's wounds were gone, healed back to perfect health.

Sosay reopened her eye's and slowly sat up. She pulled her sweater back on and looked at Ken's mother with a smile. "Thank you very much!" she thanked, standing up and stretching a little.

"No problem, sweetie." Ken's mother said, washing her hands in the sink, before turning to her. "You should thank Ken, too, for getting you here before it got worse." she added. The cuts weren't terribly deep, but numerous, and could have been opened wider or infected quite easily.

"I'll have to remember to thank him!" she replied, smiling to herself. If it wasn't for him, she would have left them the way they were, allowing them to heal as time passed, or so she thought they would be healing.

Sosay's cheeks grew red when his mother asked whether or not they were going out. "I... I'm not sure... You may ask him that." she replied, her cheeks growing redder.

Outside, Ken was waiting in the hall, his back against a wall and wondering what was taking so long.
