Alumina

User Image
Alumina accidentally ran into Ty since she did not see him infront of her. She stopped herself from falling on him and sat down. She listened to his question. Her ears layed back on her head. She didn't want to admit it. She was sad of something that was, to be frank, a little embarrassing. She looked down at her fore paws before speaking. "It's just that realization hit me, that's all. I don't belong here. I stick out like a fallen tree," she said chuckling at her analogy.

"Mmmf!" Ty exclaimed, from being walked into. Although he didn't really mind it, it just caught him off guard. Be he chucked, knowing it was an accident, and to him for some reason he found it sort of cute. "Are you ok he asked?" But, Ty saw that she was sad, as she broke eyesight of him and looked to her forepaws. Before he could ask what was wrong he, she was already speaking, and he listened to every word carefully as his ears flattened on his head in confusion with her response. He could feel his sadness welling up within him, he too knew what it meant to not belong. Soon after a frown emerged from his maw as he looked away. He recalled the trials in his life, not knowing his real parents, or his adoptive parents that he hated. Running away because he knew he didn't belong... He felt as though it was time to speak up. "Alumina, I can understand how you feel... Knowing that your not wanted, or not welcome, also knowing that you don't belong." He collected his thoughts for a moment, looking down at the ground were he moved his paws slowly through the dirt, trying to find the right words... Then it had come to him, he looked back up into Alumina's eyes. "I know for a fact I don't belong here, and if I may use your analogy, I too stick out like a fallen tree" he said with a smile. "I'm a fox, and I ended up here by accident...I'm just a nobody... Just a run away that was lucky enough he ended up in a friendly territory that wouldn't tear me apart for trespassing." He couldn't continue to speak any further. He knew what he said was true, as tears began to form in his eyes he looked away to the ground again so he did not have to make eye contact.

Alumina

User Image
Alumina hung on each of his words. She looked up at him with her observing onyx eyes and her ears returned to their erect position. She got back onto all fours and stepped closer to him. She brushed her head under his maw and stepped beside him. She often did that to comfort others. "You may just have it worse than me," she said as she layed down next to him, crossing her forepaws over one nother ad resting her head upon them. "You see, I was born high up in a set of mountains quite far from here. I was born of the two alpha's of a well known pack in that area. Then, one day hunters appeared. Everyone had to evacuate, but I got left behind. No one even looked at me. I was the only female of that litter. So, they didn't need me. I then began to wander around on my own. It was hard to pick up on the things that I know now that come so natural to me. Some small packs accepted me, but their acceptance didn't last for long. This repeated many times. I was accepted, then abandoned. I taught myself never to get too emotionally attatched to anyone or anything. So, I may not be here for very long." With that her point had been made. Yes, she was sure that Ty had it much worse than she.

Ty finally fought his tears back, with his ears flattened back he brushed he muzzle to hers. "Thank you" he said laying beside her crossing his paws. "I'm sorry to hear that" he said sincerely. "It seems we have the same luck in finding where we belong" He laughed. But he then became serious, his ears erect he looked at Alumina. "Do you think we may have a chance at last in finding a place to call home, here?"

Alumina

User Image
Alumina nodded at how he said they were on the same stretch of misfortune. If she had the human quality of blushing, she would've when he brushed his muzzle against her own. She was thankful that she didn't. No one had ever shown that sort of affection to her, and she could somehow tell that it wasn't playfull. She listened to his question. She wasn't sure if she could call this place home. She had never really had a home. So, she didn't have the slightest idea. "I don't know. Though, I would like it very much since there are so many nice one's here like you."

Ty now with a widened grin that stretched to each corner of his maw. He couldn't help but smile at the sweet words that Alumina had to say. Her words warmed his entire soul, he was happy. He had never felt so much closeness to just one person before, at least not in this way. But Ty didn't want to reveal all these feelings just yet...He thought it was way to soon, so he would just spend more time around her and maybe she too would like him in the way he was beginning to like her. "I don't really know, if I could call this place a home really. I've never really had one" he said. "But I'm glad I ran away now..." he paused for a moment looking into her onyx eyes with his own bright green eyes, thinking for a moment he didn't want to say the wrong thing that would reveal to much about him just yet... "It's nice to meet someone who is nice and sweet like you" he said with a smile and his ears laid back, bashfully. "Alumina we should probably be getting back now, it's late and we should probably find out were Niko will have us sleep tonight." He said as get got up and brushed his muzzle against her's again, and started walking forth a little back before stopping and looking back. "You coming?" He said with a big grin and a friendly chuckle.

Alumina

User Image
Alumina could see Ty grinning. She didn't know why he was smiling. Had it been her words? Or was it merely their serene surroundings. She didn't know. She wasn't going to make a big deal of it. Then, she listened to him speak once more. He had such a soothing voice that sounded as if it could melt away your troubles. Even his vibrant green eyes seemed to hold the ability to calm you down from anything even remotely stressfull. Immidiatly she began to shake such thoughts from her head, literally. What she was thinking wasn't right. In the many places she had been it would be shunned upon for a female of one species to think of a male of another species in a way such as this.

Then, she heard the complement coming from him. It had suprised her. She didn't expect something to be said back. Though, she accepted it as a grin came forth onto her maw. She nodded in agreement of that they should both head back. She looked up at the sky as she stood. Quickly, she shook the dirt loose from her white fir, which, could clearly be seen. Once again something unexpected happened. He brushed his muzzle against her's again. This seemed to make her smile grow slightly. She brushed her muzzle against his in return. She watched as he began to walk forth and stopped. She nodded adn trotted after him.

Khristine Elizabeth Klyth

User Image

[Memories] are nice, but that's all they are.

Laughter continued from both wolves as they remembered their past. How everything was so simple. Just living and playing all day long. Not even worrying of getting any lunch. The others got the food for them since they were still too young to have a successful hunt, or at least one good enough for the whole pack to eat, even if it was a small one. Khristine loved and cherished [sp?] those memories. Nothing would ever make her forget them. Nothing in the whole world. Not even a human, not even death.

Khristine escaped from him and stood in all fours facing him with her front lowered and her bottom basically sticking out. She then jumped lightly to the side like if provoking him, and then started running. She laughed at her old attempt as she headed over to the meadow where she was this morning. Where most memories really lie. She ran as fast as she could knowing how fast he has gotten throughout the years. Even before, he was really fast. He's probably a lot faster know beign an alpha and training since he was a young wolf.

Echo trotted at a light pace through the dense woods of the unknown area. The scent of wolves was strong but her mind was set on food. Her stomach roared to life at the mere thought of a juicy rabbit in her jaws; its juicy fluids flowing down her throat and into her empty stomach.
She stopped and lowered her snout to the ground and gave it a strong sniff. There was nothing but the scent of earth and wolves, not a rabbit or snake or anything to eat that she could scent. With a displeasing grunt as she started off once more down her path.

With a playful grown and grunt Niko was on his feet in a flash, gaining on his lifelong companion. "You can't outrun me!" He called with a laugh, "Never could and that's not gonna change!" Niko picked up the pace, his large pads making a muffled thud every time they hit the cool earth. It wasn't long before he was right on Khristine's tail, literally. Reaching out he grabbed her tail as they ran so she couldn't press herself faster.

Ember padded mindlessly back to the den, a large hare hanging lifeless in his jaws. Sniffing the air once or twice he could smell the alpha and some of the other pack members, and a few scents he had never had the pleasure of sniffing before now. Nonchalantly he continued into the heart of the pack, only to find no one there. He sniffed the air once again and determined that they all must have just left. He let the rabbit fall from his jaws before getting into his spot near the den. Glad he wouldn't have to share, he began to eat his fresh meal. As the pack's only real hunter, he deserved it.

As Echo entered father into that of wolf territory she became more cautious. With her ears perked forward and her fur standing on end she slowed herself down to a walk. She lifted her snout into the air and sniffed lightly, getting an idea of where the wolves where placed.
By the lingering scents to her right most of them where in that dirrection, which meant that heading far left was her best beat. As she broke her slow pace to a trot once more the scent of the wolves began to grow stronger. Confused she skidded to a hault. Was this a trick of the mind, or where the wolves playing games with her? Which ever it was she knew she needed to turn tail and run in another dirrection; however the sight of a male wolf dragged her attention away from the warning that her haywired nerves were giving off and instread drew her closer in.
As she approuched she noticed why the scent of wolves was so strong; it was the heart of the wolves land. Suddenly her legs turned to lead and stopped her in her tracks. She was being idiotic, walking straight into the denning area of a pack of wolves. Changing her course she began to run full speed, heading off away from the wolf den, praying that the male wolf had not spotted or scented her before she could make her quick escape.

Ember looked up from his meal as a new scent brushed past his muzzle and instinctively a growl echoed in his throat as he got to his feet. Darting into the brush, teeth and claws bared he began to pursue the intruder, the distant pad of paws hitting earth was his guide. Although it wasn't his assigned job to guard the perimeters and fight for the pack, he would do what he could to protect his home and his meals and his new family. Gaining he let a loud growl-bark rip from behind his lips, before tacking the intruder to the ground, growling and snapping his jaws, appearing more menacing than the easy-going wolf really was.

Echo was running at full speed when something collided with her. She let out a yelp as she hit the ground, her vision bluring for a brief moment. As her vision cleared her eyes locked onto the wolf above her, growling and snapping his fangs toward her.
Knowing it was a territorial threat she laid her ears back on her head and whimpered loudly up at the male. Her hazy blue eyes gazed into his, praying in her mind that she would be forgiven for her trustpassing on his grounds.

"What are you doing here?" Ember snapped, still keeping up his menacing facade as he kept the young wolfdog pinned to the ground. He bared his till still waiing for an answer as he wished the Alpha was here to take care of these matters.
