Lance laughed a little bit at Devri and imagining him to be a fatty instead of a military commander. He lifts up his own shirt and pats his flat stomach which has already lost it's baby fat. He's happy with how he looks now and wants it to stay that way.
Cameron lowers himself a little bit, despite how short he is compared to the rest of the people here. He's at a loss of words and what to say to Akita's controversy against the note. "Perhaps, I think why I know this man is doing this. Not only to teach you patience but perhaps to test your trust as well. If you 'truly' did love this fellow, you would be able to put up with the long wait." Cameron turned to exit the Sun Room as he was going to do before, but something stops him in his mind to look back at Akita with a furrowed brow and a worried look. "Unless, of course, you were willing to test his seriousness on that subject and go after him anyway. You have two paths to go down. The first one, wait it out and show that you're really loyal enough, or the second; prove your impatience and not be able to plan a nice Christmas gift for him." Cameron finally takes his leave without saying a farewell.
Aristocramon snickers a little bit and keeps leaning over Vempyremon's shoulder as he was before. "...Sorry, the rumor is kind of spreading around, you know." Vempyremon shoves him away and backs off a little bit from him, throwing a glare towards Akita. "If I were you, I'd go with the second road. Dont listen to what that psychopath says. It'll only prove how much you want of him now...though, I'd have to agree about the patience part. I dont know."

Devri finished stuffing his mouth and picked up a glass of milk to chug to wash the food down, "Ohh that hits the spot!"
Lucus watched the two of them, "You two are both nuts, you are aware of this correct?"
Akita brought a hand up and placed it against the glass, lifting her head away from it slightly, "I will wait. I've waited this long to fall in love again. I can wait to have it blossom.." Akita's ears drooped at her own words, "I shall not see Kain again until Christmas Eve. If a moment during that time arises where we are to cross paths I will not be there. I will avoid the situation to keep my word. As frustrating as it will be.. I love Kain, and if I can prove it by doing this. Then so be it. My affection will not stray."

Vempyremon looks to Aristocramon slightly who already made his way towards the exit of the room after being pushed away by Vempyremon. He was about to leave too, but not before looking back at the two, mostly towards Akita. "No, you wont see him in this city again until that day. I assure you, an artist needs his alone time..." Aristocramon's eyebrows raise as he exits the Sun Room. He knows something, but obviously isnt going to say what. Something is spreading around the townsfolk about Kain and Akita, and only a select few will never know what.
After Aristocramon leaves finally, Vempyremon looks towards Akita with a shoulder shrug, telling Akita that she doesnt know anything about what's going on. "I've been with Lucus all night. Either way, we should get back. I'm pretty sure Devri and Lance are trying to kill Lucus by now." Vempyremon doesnt move until Akita agrees to go on ahead first.

Akita sighed and pushed herself away from the glass and turned back to Vempyremon. Akita indeed had no clue about the spreading rumors, or how almost everyone seemed to know about her interest in Kain or why everyone kept encouraging her to not give up hope on the situation . She smiled softly, "You all looked so sweet this morning. I tried my best not to disturb you all. You are all such a sweet young family." She took a few steps away from the window and nodded, "Yes, we should get back to them I suppose. Lu is probably either pulling his hair out or they've gone and made a mess in some way." She made her way past Vempyremon and towards the exit of the sun room. "They should still be with Lu in his office unless he's decided to toss them out."

Vempyremon easily waited for Akita to pass through the room before she began to follow. She gave her own soft sigh and looked at Akita with some worry, but then again with some hope. "...Dont worry about the time between you two. Time will pass you by like two souls and you'll be able to be with him." Vempyremon tried to make some kind of weak smile, but it quickly faded as she made no hurry out of following Akita out of the sun room. She's been with Lance and Devri for the past week; it's time Lucus got a shot at the two nutheads and see how much trouble they like to get in with each other. But even now, she didnt know if Devri and Lance were ever going to kiss up to eachother like real brothers or separate like enemies.

Akits glanced back at Vempyremon and gave her a soft smile, " Thank you."

Devri gave a loud yawn, his tongue curling like a cat revealing the piercing on it. "Gawd morning such more than Lance, and he sucks hard." Devri joked.
Lucus rolled his eyes at his now older sons, "You may have gotten larger in body size but your brain is still the size of a pea Devri, I'm just letting you know."
Devri gave his father a wicked and devilish grin, "Oya dad? That so now?" He reached over and grabbed one of the fresh buns Akita has set down on the table, he took a large bite of it and devoured it, "Gaaaaaw! I'm always hungry this isn't cool."
Lucus scoffed, "You're a growing boy, what do you expect."

As Devri and his father bickered at eachother, Lance had his nose shoved in where it always was; a book. He softly rolled his eyes up to see Devri and Lucus then settled them back down to his book to study. It was easy enough to ignore them with something else catching his attention now that he was halfway into the story after starting the book nearly half an hour ago. He hasnt changed much from his childhood except being a little quieter and studying much more often. (That and his intelligence peaking to a higher level. Much higher than that of Devri's) Lance wanted to be good and proper for everyone for when he was able to take the royal throne. He tried not to let Devri's beat downs bother him much, but it was hard. He carried his mother's short temper, and quite often, had to keep himself from socking Devri in his big mouth. Most of the time, he held it inside and bit his lip. But now, with Devri occupied with Lance, he didnt have to deal with him.

Devri eyed his brother "Gawd nerd face, keep your nose in a book any longer and your face will soon have text on it." Devri howled with laughter.
Lucus quickly gave Devri a quick smack to the back of the head to silence him as the door to the dining room swung open.
Zeki barged into the room through the open door, flustered and carrying a platter of fresh fruit, "Oh no! Zeki is sorry, Miss Akita asked her to go pick up some fresh fruits but the market was really really busy!"
Devri looked up at Zeki and smirked, "Hey, no problem pretty, least it's here now, bring it over here would ya?"

Frustrated, Lance shut his book and put it next to the other pile of books sitting next to him on the floor. They were in a neat stack, and it would be no trouble for him to put them back up again. In alphabetical order, of course.
He stood up and gave Devri some sort of evil eye to show that he was angry without telling Devri verbally. "The market place was BUSY. You can be a little bit more considerate than that, you know. Miss Zeki went through all that trouble to getting the items and she has to come back to you being so demanding. You could at least say THANK YOU."
After having been able to vent at Devri without the use or harsh language, which was extremely rare for him to curse, he sat back down and pulled out some left over ribbon from wrapping Christmas presents.

Zeki bowed quickly and looked at Lance, blushing slightly as he spoke in her defense. She gave a small bow and set the platter down on the table, Devri quickly reaching over to snatch a ripe and juicy looking apple. "It's alright Mr.Lance, your brother just has a big mouth and speaks the wrong words out of it."
Devri ignored his brother and shot Zeki a sharp look and hissed under his breath. Taking a bite out of the brightly coloured apple he licked the juice off his lips, "I hope the man you find can deal with the words that come out of YOUR mouth little lady."
Lucus sighed and shook his head, "One day Devri, I'm going to get your mouth taped shut."

"Oh, please do." Instead of getting up from his study to pick up something from the plate, Lance remained in his one spot that he'd been in for several hours...studying. When he didnt study, he was reading some sort of book. "Then there would be no more noise to distract me. YOU, Devri, seem to be the source of all of it." Lance tried to keep some of his hair from falling in front of his face as he was reading, but some strands of it escape anyway. "Besides, you remember what mum said she would do to you, dont you?"

"I try not to remember such things," Devri groaned, really not remembering at all.
Zeki eyed the two brothers and began to slowly back out of the room quickly backing into somebody. Quickly she turned around and waved her hands in a frantic apology, "Zeki is sorry! Ah, oh Miss Akita!" Zeki gave Akita a bright smile.
Akita returned it and patted Zeki on the head, "You two really have to stop fighting at some point in your life least one of you ends up in a hospital bed. How is everything?"
Lucus smirked and chuckled softly, "Your motherly instincts are kicking in already Akita, we sure you aren't pregnant?" He scooped up a few pieces of the fruit and began nibbling on it, Akita rolling her eyes at his statement. "It's great as always, stop worrying so much."

In behind Akita, follows Vempyremon, who scoots in between the doorway, Akita and Zeke who are both cramped up near the small space of the room. "Not yet... But I dont even think Akita knows what day it is right now. Next Thursday is your 'meeting' with Kain." Vempyremon slowly walks through the room and over to Devri first to give him a soft pat on the back, before she gives him a hard one, almost like a slap. "Stop it. Or I'll shave your head bald." Vempyremon looks over to Lance who's studying away...she figured she shouldnt bother him and heads right over to Lucus to give him a big hug.
Lance looked up briefly from his books and papers to look around the room and all the company that it's brought in. He didnt feel too comfortable being around so many people. But it was better than them all being angry and barking at each other. "You're so happy. What is the occasion? Is Miss Akita planning to have a child?"

Akita waved a hand to dismiss Lance's statement "Oh no no, I'm not expecting! It's as your mother days. Just a little over a week and I get to see Kain again." She gave a soft happy sigh, a soft smile on her lips. "I really hope all goes well."
Zeki giggled softly at Akita, "Don't jinx yourself by worrying too much Miss Akita!"
Devri huffed at his mother, completely ignoring anything to do with Akita. His hand went to rub where she whacked him on the back, "You leave my hair alone woman. Else I'll shave dad bald head to toe."
Lucus just shook his head and gave Vemp a tight hug, "And how is my lovely lady today?" He spoke ignoring Devri.

Vempyremon snarled a little bit at Devri's statement and nearly went back over to him to smack him one again, but being by Lucus held her back. "Hurgh. Or maybe I'll just dye your hair pink while you're sleeping. Then we'll see who has the last laugh."
Lance could easily see the similarities between Devri and Vempyremon, and it was quite funny listening to them bicker back and forth to each other like immature children. Even he knew better. While those three adults were busy dealing with Devri, Lance decided it would be best to get up from his study, take a break, and walk over to Zeki and Akita to visit for a while. He walks suavely towards them with his hands behind his back. "I dont believe in jinxing. It's only the attitude that you bring forth to such occasion that will determine the outcome." Lance stopped only a few feet away from them; knowing how some girls dont like being around guys... 'guy cooties'.
