"I ain't seen th' dress, nae, but he tol' me about th' cake. It sounds delicious," Rory said, grinning, a slight blush dusting his cheeks. He felt a little awkward talking about their upcoming wedding, though only because he'd never thought he'd be married.

Lee noted that Rory wasn't looking as happy as he had earlier, and decided to keep quiet after that. He didn't like talking about the wedding? That was more than a little worrying to her, but she simply continued to eat, looking pleasant enough, and enjoying her chicken as best she could.

Looking up from her plate, Lee shrugged just slightly, a bit surprised by how he worded the question. He was asking her permission? "Of course, sure. I guess I just already assumed she would be. Are you gonna have a best man?" He'd said Faolan, right?

"A little..." Lee answered, shrugging. "Dunno who'll actually agree to come, though..." She really should ask around. They didn't have much time to prepare, after all. "Ellandra'll probably be one, if she doesn't think I'm crazy for getting married so young... and Si agreed. Everyone else, though... I dunno." Ellandra and Sienna standing side-by-side would surely be entertaining, if nothing else.

"Elle would be more o' a matron o' honor, though, since she's married," Rory chuckled. "Your da gonna gi' you away?"

"Oh..." Lee laughed with slight embarrassment before answering Rory's question. "I dunno. I guess so?" She wasn't sure how involved he wanted to be in this, and didn't really want to talk for him. She honestly didn't care either way, and probably wouldn't notice if he didn't even show up at all. Oh, that was a little harsh, wasn't it? To put it another way, she would likely be too focused on the fact that she was marrying Rory to know who else was around her.

"You should ask him," Rory suggested. "I know he cares about you. He'd be sad not t' be a part o' this." He leaned over to take her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

Holding back any sarcastic remarks, Lee just nodded, not overly excited to be mixing her parents with her new life. They tended to muddle things up, anyway. The girl looked to her lap, a slightly amused smile on her face. She found it odd that after years of always thinking of marriage as a bad thing, avoiding it as best she could, here she was now, willingly marrying a boy she'd only known a few months, and at such a young age. But it really couldn't have felt more perfect. She sighed contently, glancing up to Rory again. "I'm glad it's you that I'm marrying, and not that guy my mother picked for me..."

"Who? Jeremy? Tha' boy's dirt," Rory grumbled, concentrating on his food. "Glad I'm marryin' you an' didnae hae t' gae t' a matchmaker. I cannae think o' spendin' me life with anyone else."

"Naw... I mean, yeah, him, too, but they guy I was actually about to marry..." What was his name? "William, I think was his name. Pretty sure he wore make-up..." Not that that was what made him a bad potential husband, but it was rather odd. She giggled at his last words, however, smiling at him. "Me neither." She probably would have refused to have kids with anyone else but him, too.

"Wore makeup?" Rory asked, looking up. "Now you're just haen me on."
The waiter came over to see how everything was. "Would you like to order some dessert?"
Rory looked at Lee, letting her order first.

Lee shook her head to Rory before looking over at the waiter, realizing she was supposed to answer first. "Nnnngh..." was followed by more uncomfortable sounds of indecision, until she finally shook her head. "No..." And she instantly regretted it.
