"Good idea kid." Hitachi said to Broadway, liking the idea already. Blue flowers for Blue; it made perfect sense but it was autumn now. "I don't know if any flowers will be alive out 'ere but I could go to town and see..." He knew for sure he was going to go to try and cheer Gov'nah up for the sake that she wouldn't be yelling anymore at everyone but he didn't want to go alone. He glanced at Keshet. "Do you want to go town and see?"

Broadway grinned. "Of course it is." He said like every idea of his was good.
Keshet looked at Hitachi and nodded. "Sure. I was on my way to town before the mud incident. I would like to go there sometime today." He said, "I don't know where the florist is though...." He looked to the door and back to Hitachi. "Do you want to go now?"

"Doesn't matter. We could leave now or later." Hitachi said with a shrug. He didn't really care because he was a wolf that went with the flow of things. "If you 'ave something else to do 'ere, I could meet you there later. I know where the florist is or, at least, I think I do." He laughed sheepishly and tapped his chin thoughtfully as he pondered over where the florist was. Eh, they'd find it when they got there. "Any how, if you don't 'ave anything to do, we could go now. Doesn't matter to me... whatever you decide, I'm fine with but I want food and tea when we get there." He said.

Keshet nodded. "Well I don't have anything I have to do there. I just wanted to get out and ...... do some window shopping." He said, "It'll be better if we go together since I have no clue where the florist is and you do. I wouldn't be able to meet up with you. As for some food and tea..... I know the perfect place. Auntie May's animal cafe is great."

"Window shopping instead of regular shopping?" Hitachi tilted his head and gave Keshet a confused look. "Where's the fun in that?"
He nodded and wagged his tail happily at the mention that they could get food. He had never heard of the place Keshet mentioned but if they had both food and tea there, he would be happy. He nodded and waved at Broadway. "Alright then, it's settled. Let's get going Kes!"

"Uh yeah. Since I don't have the money to get stuff right now I go see what stuff I'd like to get when I do get money." Keshet said walking to the door that went out into the hall, "Not only do I do that I also meet people." He walked out into the hall and headed for the front door.

"And that, my friend, is why you always go shopping with someone else so they can buy it for you." Hitachi trotted quickly to keep up with Keshet as he headed towards the front door. "Or you convince Gov'nah to pay you for playing 'ouse and cleaning. And I'm sure you meet all kinds of interesting chaps just like you and you all look like lost little puppies staring at the window waiting for someone to pick you..." He teased. "What's your favorite store in town to go 'window shop' at then?"

Keshet rolled his eyes and then grinned. "Oh... so are you offering?" He teased driving an elbow into Hitachi's side (lightly of course), "Yeah she is already paying me. Can't ask for much more otherwise we'd all be broke." He shook his head at Hitachi's teasing. "Yeah..... right. Perhaps in your dreams." He replied stepping outside, "I don't think I have a favorite.... maybe the clothes shops."

It was Hitachi's turn to roll his eyes as he returned the gesture and nudged Keshet back.
"Well," He paused and began to rummage through his pockets, looking for money. He found a few bills but he was saving that for the flowers and dinner. What was left over he held out for Keshet to see and laughed. "If it's 75 cents or under, I'll buy you anything you want." Hitachi pocketed the change and rolled his eyes again. "Oh, I'm sure I dream about you sitting in front of a store looking all sad and out. And you're kidding me...Now why is the clothes store your favorite and you don't wear any bloody clothes?"

Keshet was grinning as he was nudged. He started towards the path that led to the road to town. "Oooo I bet I can find something that fits that budget. Just you wait. I'll have you buying me something by the end of the day." He said pausing. He looked at Hitachi and frowned. "I think we need to stop at one of those clothes stores I was talking about. You need a shirt." He said shaking his head with a serious expression, "I like trying the clothes on and buying Blue and the other female anthros outfits. Doesn't mean I like to wear clothes."

"I'll take that bet. There's nothing that you could find for 75 cents so I'll be able to keep it." Hitachi glanced down and groaned as he remembered what had become of his beloved red top. He now only had a black tank top and it was much. "Now why do I need a new shirt? I look even more like a real rocka'" A gust of wind caused him to shiver and he laughed. "I guess mista stylish can 'elp me out and find me something huh? And I guess that's a reasonable enough. It's nice of you..." He shoved his hands in his jeans pocket and shrugged. "I guess..."

Keshet grinned. Clearly Hitachi didn't know that majority of the shop owners knew Keshet by sight and offered him great deals since he did come in and shop or help out a lot. "It's a bet then." He said shaking his head, "I can help you find something.... just so you don't catch a cold." They were halfway through the path in the woods. "Say.... why don't we fly to town instead of walk. It'll be a lot quicker."

Hitachi knew he was going to win the bet so he wasn't worried. He'd get to keep his 75 cents and wouldn't have to buy a thing for Keshet. He nodded at the idea of flying.
"The faster we get there, the faster we find Gov'nah that flower and the faster we can go to dinner." He flapped his tattered wings and pushed himself into the air. He started off quickly down the path and glanced back at Keshet. "Come Skittle. No time to say 'ello, goodbye... 'urry up, 'urry up, 'urry up." He said with a laugh as he twisted the white rabbit's catch phrase from Alice in Wonderland.

Keshet spread his own wings and took off. He followed Hitachi down the path and to the road. "I think you're mainly doing this just so you can get some food." He said smiling, "And I'm coming." He caught up to Hitachi and flew up higher as there were no more trees. "Onward to town."

"Of course!" He said, looking to Keshet. He then shook his head. "No I do care 'bout Gov'nah and I want to see 'er 'appy. I don't like seeing people I care about upset or angry. If I can, I try and do everything to see them smile." He looked ahead of him and thought back to earlier. "It's why I didn't like seeing you upset in the mud like that..."
Choosing to remain low, Hitachi spread his arms out and closed his eyes as he flew, enjoying the feel of the chilly wind against his face and following through his hair. He smiled as he slowly opened his eyes and began to rolled over and began to fly upside down, laughing as he did so.
