Chryseis' one eye widened. "That sounds harsh."
Then, she thouight of Salem's daily conditioning--usually involving killer robots which had some over complicated method of dismantling-- and her shoulders drooped. "Yeah, I see what you mean..."

After running down the hallway a while, Abomination #2 came upon a small bedroom. Knowing that he would be at an advantage at close-quarters combat due to his number of limbs and his urticating hairs, he decided this would be a good place to make his web. He started with a trip line at the doorway, and made trip lines randomly all throughout the rest of the room, all the way to the back. He dragged the bed all the way to the back of the room with him. Since he was too large to simply hide under the bed, he propped it up with various things from around the room. He was still to big for the bed to obscure him completely however, so he took the linens off of the bed and made himself a fair impression of a child's play-fort to hide under. Throughout this entire process, he was entirely unaware of Wadsworth's approach.

Void looked at the ice dome that surrounded Chryseis and Leyward. There was a calculating look on his face, and for a moment, there was silence.
He turned to Polly, an idea formulating in his head. Nothing in that room could be hard enough or sharp enough to break through the thick ice. However... "What can you make that can break through that?"

"If I make it, you fling it?", and before he could say anything, Polly began to morph the lollipops on her head onto a viciously hot form of caramel.
"Sugar burns are vicious," she said in a teacher-ish way. "Let's play a game of hot potato, Void~"

Void, relieved that he didn't have to explain it to her, readied himself to throw the caramel at the ice dome. He had one arm already lifted at the ice dome, and the other at Polly.

Leyward got a bit nervous when he heard what Polly and Void were talking about. "Aaahhh....that doesn't sound good....one moment." He began to shoot water out of both his hands. The water splashed the inside of the dome and immediately froze, reinforcing it. "There, that should hold them off for a bit longer. Im gonna need some time if we wanna get out of this situation." Leyward then sat down in the middle of the dome and began to quietly chant a long and complex incantation. As he spoke, a blue shimmering circle of runes appeared on the floor around him.

Polly threw the caramel at him. "Throw it or it'll scald you!"
Chryseis looked around, and silently wondered what was happening.

Void sucked up the caramel and it was immediately shot out at the ice dome. It landed with a satisfying thud on the top of the dome, and the heat and gravity began its work on melting the caramel through the ice.
He was already thinking of what to do next. Void was sure there was no way that they were just sitting in there not thinking of what to do as well.

Heratik heard the incantation Leyward was reciting, and chuckled under his breath. Feeling rejuvinated, he sat up, and jump down to the floor.
"Ha..this should be fun."

After about a minute of chanting, Leyward stood up in the circle and looked nervously over at Chryseis. "Well, its finished, I just hope it works correctly. I guess well find out. Come over here and stand in the circle with me. And hold on tight, it might feel pretty weird."

Chryseis did as asked, gritting her teeth in fear of the chance that it wouldn't work.

Leyward gave one last look at the ceiling of the dome, the bright red glow very visible above them. He could already feel the heat, it was like lava. "Well, here goes nothing. If this works the way it should we'll be alright." Leyward spoke a single word. And then the rune circle glowed very bright, almost matching the caramal's glow. Leyward got a dizzing, gut wrenching feeling, like that rushing sensation you get when you fall from high up. Chryseis and Leyward's forms molded together as they changed color to a pure blue. After a few seconds the only thing that remained of Chryseis and Leyward was a large puddle of water. The water moved in a circle quickly 2 times before finding a sizeable crack in the floor. The puddle collected itself and seeped down the crack in the floor, and into a leaky pipe. There, the puddle flowed until it sprayed out of a stormpipe outside of the mansion in the courtyard.

Polly looked inside. "...what the hell? They're... not there..."
She tilted her head and squinted. "Damn plaguevomiter."

Void crossed his arms and floated over to the ice dome.
"Got away then...," he muttered, looking around and wondering where they might have gone.
Void noticed Heratik, but like he had done the others until they attacked, dismissed his presence.
Instead he looked at Polly with a focused glare.
"How did I end up here?"

Outside in the courtyard, a large water puddle sat and satcherated the grass. Then, the puddle started to have more colors in it than just blue. The colors swirled wildly, and then the puddle began to quiver violently. It then split into two medium sized puddles, the puddles then began to shrink. As they shrinked, figures started to take the puddles places, rising up out of the shrinking puddle like swirling colorful wax figures. Then the wax figures started to get detail, like faces and fingers. After about 10 minutes the bodies of Chryseis and Leyward were sprawled face down on the lawn. Soon, Leyward's eyes flicked open and he quietly groaned. "We're alive...It worked! But I feel completely soaked..." He sat up and looked over at Chryseis just as she was coming around. "Hey Chryseis! We made it! We escaped! Wow I can't believe it! And to think my master thought it would take me forever to master level 28 Hydromancer spells! Well, shows how much he-- Leyward was cut off as he quickly got on his hand and knees and began to vomit up generous amounts of water.
